Has Liverpools interest in Teun Koopmeiners gone cold as of now?
I remember his name being brought up a while back.

{Ed002's Note - Teun Koopmeiners (DM/CM) Atalanta are reluctant to sell but his agent wants the player to be playing in the Champions League with Juventus and Napoli having declared interest. Prior interest of Milan has shifted to Tijjani Reijnders. Approaches have been made to Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea although none have spoken with Atlanta and all have other targets. Brighton, who see him as a Caicedo replacement, have opened discussions with his agent and Atalanta over a transfer with Aston Villa talking with his agent. Marseille have walked away due to the quoted cost.

Out of the players that have been linked with us recently, I'd rate Koopmeiners and Llorente as the best of the bunch, their experience and versatility standing out. Lavia and Thuram would definitely be more of a gamble with how raw they both look at times, but you can't help but be excited about their potential. The only player I'd really want us to avoid is Phillips who would be an extremely underwhelming signing, and it's not like he'll come cheap either. But then again, Bielsa made him the lynchpin of his Leeds side and Guardiola signed him albeit for the bench, and Klopp clearly likes him so what do I know? Fingers crossed it's Koopmeiners or Llorente who walks through the door though.
