Hi eds. Keep hearing stuff bout Chiesa. any substance?

Federico Chiesa (LW/F) A third party has informed Juventus of possible interest from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich and with sanctions this may lead Juventus to consider a sale. Manchester United and Arsenal interest seems to have gone. Chelsea interest is possible and the clubs did discuss the player during meetings over another player and their need will be driven with the departure of Pulisic. Liverpool would only be an option if Salah were sold and they have given him a new long-term contract and they seem well stocked for versatile forwards, particularly left-sided forwards. PSG may offer an option. Juventus don't really want to sell but the player has been plagued with injury the past two years and that means that they are unlikely to find interest whilst significant injury problems persist and that concern is been mentioned in discussion with Bayern Munich and is likely to cause Chelsea to tread carefully.}

Would Chiesa be of interest as part of Chelsea’s 2030 plan or would it be because they haven’t quite finished their “let’s have a turnover of 20 - 30 players every year” phase?

{Ed002's Note - No the Vision 2030 plan is a lengthy list of young players, some of which they have and the others are targets - and they have already signed the LW from that list this summer. Chiesa is already in his mid 20s and he would be no more thatn an option for Chelsea to replace Pulisic with as they have other targets and will be concerned about the injuries.}

Come on WDW, you should know by now Chelsea just do things better/ smarter (despite the large manager and staff turnover suggesting otherwise) ….

Despite spending 600m, Chelsea could end up in transfer profit in regards to ffp if their sales go through before July 1st. Doesn’t seem that bad.
