If the Echo are to be believed, Looks like Andre Wisdom will be joining Celtic after Liverpool knocked back their interest in Joe Gomez.

A lot of Liverpool fans are actually a little bit miffed that Wisdom never truly got his chance. Managerial changes and failed loan spells have derailed the lads progress.
I think he'd be a good player for your club north of the border, if given the chance to play regularly and settle into a healthy environment. He was always thought of as a CB until he started playing RB. I'd still like to see the lad given a chance at CB but maybe there are reasons for his conversion?!
He's a worker, he's not going to be the best player but he's no nonsense and grafts. I really hope the lad does well if he moves to Celtic. Just my opinion on the Wisdom.

He's a good player both north and south of the border but was constantly played out of position and his confidence took a massive hit. A hard working footballer with a fairly good football brain.

I don't know. Zielinski looks like a fine player, but I certainly have not been blown away by what I've seen. Same with Praet.
Firmino/ Texeira were signings that excited me. Grujic, I think, has great upside; looks like a younger but more creative version of Matic (with whom he's often compared) . Gotze, of course, is an exciting potential signing.
But Praet or Zielinski? I'm not sure how they're an improvement over Hendo (when fit), Can, or Lallana, if they're to play in either a central midfield role or as AMs. Maybe on the wing, but that's only because we have zero wingers.
I'm glad the Praet rumours seem to have died down.

I agree although admit I don't know either player, just not sure we need a developing talent in attacking midfield with Coutinho, Firmino, Llalana, Milner, Markovic all looking good and Ibe, Ojo, Brannagan, Kent all coming through. Would rather keep Teixera and spend only if we're certain it would improve the starting lineup (but then I could be wrong and one of these could end up being the next Firmino we knew nothing about before joining) .

Quite a few of you didn't believe me when I told you that Sherwood wanted Ayew & Adebayour, not Lambert. I'm sure it was just wishful thinking on your parts.
Anyway, my little bit of info I wanted to pass on today is that the club are looking for a championship/lower level PL club to take Illori on loan this year after pricing him out of a move. I know the lad is not best pleased either.

Very good chance that Benteke will be signing with us this week, but don't get your hopes up on Lambert signing for Villa - Sherwood has already requested Adebayour and Ayew.
I can't see Lambert leaving this Summer, although things change constantly.

Just another example of another galaxy class player named Jordan that we're missing out on again, clearly our squad is lacking in that area. I'm so sick of Liverpool's terrible transfer policy that sees us go for players with blatantly short surnames just so they fit on a jersey while our rivals sign the best in the universe. If we waste the Sterling money on Benteke that will prove to be as big a disaster as Andy Carroll. He won't score more than 10 goals in a Liverpool shirt and we won't be able to recoup any of the money spent on him when who ever will be in charge when Rodgers is sacked decides that he is not what we need. Worth pointing out, NO other top 4 side is interested in Benteke.

Micah Richards has requested his agent set up a move to Liverpool in January.
Not sure how keen either club is, but know for certain that Micah is very much wanting this to happen.

It's a real shame that a lot of posters on here are clearly of the opinion that Manè is currently playing at Southampton, therefore shouldn't be signed because of the past transfers.
Pace, power and an eye for a goal comes at a premium, especially when the selling club doesn't need to sell.
Manè is the type of player who could become anything he wants to be, just needs the correct coaching and to remain humble - Something which Klopp and his team will hopefully be able to do.

Mane is exactly like coutinho in many ways
Once in a blue moon he has a great game . Goes missing for most games . Shows some brilliance to make everyone say he's a good player but super inconsistent
Both are overrated and need to play more often
Everyone hypes up coutinho and he was awol in both finals!

Just a couple of bits on U21's that interested me over the last few days.
First of all, Our talented young keeper Danny Ward is going to be going out on loan in January - Probably a league one club, but maybe championship depending on clubs needs - Leaving Vigouroux as the U21 keeper. The club are thinking they will be able to promote Ward to the backup keeper position soon, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a very temporary keeper come in this window.
The other bit of info I got was that Canos is really exciting everyone, And I'm talking everyone. There's talk of him getting in the first team squad this season at some point. Probably the cups.

I would suggest you actually look into what SOS actually do for the local community and what they have already done, and plan to do, for supporters on the wider scale before you come out with such nonsense.
