Any interest in Berindinho (sorry ill and ability to spell is gone)
I personally think he would be a better fit than Benteke, and also cost less.
Also wondered if his departure from the Devil himself, Aidy Ward, could be a way to pave a move to LFC (or am I merely hoping)

Berahino is a great shout! was a fella on Talksport saying the same. More mobile than Benteke n a natural goal scorer and of course cheaper too.
We should be at least considering him, Benteke is a good Andy Carroll only.

Perfect if you want an irresponsible drink driver playing for your team, someone else who thinks he is better than everyone else and thinks the law does not apply to him. I hope we get Benteke, he will eat defenders for breakfast.

Why would he move to utd.
If liverpool, arsenal, Chelsea or Newcastle came in, he'll go there.

LFC will not turn down 70m for a squad player. Love Darwin, but someone offers that, he's gone.

His problem for me, is I think Nunez is almost better of the left. However he would not get a sniff ahead of Diaz or Gapko. When Salah was in afcom I though he looked good there with Diaz of the right.
If we sold him, did not renew Salah, and Diaz leaves, it would be a mistake for me. If those 2 remain, I'd unfortunately cash in, and buy a proven goal scorer.
Last thing for poster who said its like playing with 10. Utter rubbish, he bring a lot to LFC, barring the goals we would want. Bobby was hardly prolific, but was the main cog in that front 3.

Reality we have a squad that finish just of the champions.
Dissapointing window, as I feel our midfield does not fit slot system.
Disaster no, we did not need a rebuild, opportunity missed 100%.
Think personally we have a top 3 squad. no progression. As a 45 year old man would I take this over the mid table mediocrity. yes.
Lesson need to be learnt, let's hope they are, and move on.
