I've recently seen posts regarding manè leaving this summer, would be interesting to see if the club had made any initial contract negotiations with him and see what he wants. I personally can't see us getting much for him and would probably keep if he would sign a new say 2 year deal. Along with this has anyone actually shown any interest in him? Its all good and well saying sell him. this summer, but I actually haven't seen any reports of interested teams?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of the contract situation but clearly the club have been trying to deal with Salah. I am not aware of any declared intered in Mane at this time.}

1.) 06 Feb 2022 16:54:47
I'd keep him longer too if possible, don't think we'd recieve much of a transfer fee for him. Still a top player who has huge experience of big games and maybe the likes of Musialowski or Clark could replace him in a few years.

2.) 06 Feb 2022 16:55:23
We'd get more for Mane than most think. He's not some busted flush ready to be written off.
Don't be surprised if he's here for another season or two yet.

3.) 06 Feb 2022 17:39:45
How's about we keep him and have a very strong squad like other top sides have quality options.

4.) 06 Feb 2022 17:42:08
Please stop trying to sell out better players lads and lasses! Forget the money. Let FSG handle that. Mane needs to stay. We want to win every competition and these are the levels that we need to be able to rotate off our bench. He is still a top player and will start 30+ games with good cup runs.

5.) 06 Feb 2022 17:53:22
Agree with most of these posts, give him a new contract that takes him up to 32/ 33. The lad is only 29, he’s got 2/ 3 productive years on him yet, especially now as we have added more quality upfront to rest him every so often. He’s a menace on the pitch still so I don’t know why we want to let him go and leave ourselves short again?

Obviously if someone offers £50m then fine but that is extremely unlikely!

6.) 06 Feb 2022 18:10:49
Keep Mane, he's still a baller. He's got a few good yrs in him like some have said to 32yr old and probably still get most of what we paid for him. Win win.

7.) 06 Feb 2022 18:24:29
Get rid of origi mini ox Keita before we worry about shifting mane! He’s played more games and scored more then any in the last 3 years put together!

8.) 06 Feb 2022 16:09:52
Cheers for response ed002, regarding manè I can't imagine lfc wanting to deal with prem clubs if was to sell him. I would pressume real Madrid have other targets aswel as barca. So would imagine would only be PSG who would be a viable option?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea - none of those clubs have a declared interest at this time.}

9.) 06 Feb 2022 19:00:32
ED02, do you know if the club are close to Salah's contract wishes or miles apart?

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know but doubt that Liverpool will be looking to pay what he and his "agent" were want for a 30 year old from other clubs.}

10.) 06 Feb 2022 19:59:34
Mane or Salah or both are going to be sold in the summer. Mane would be my educated guess, we didn’t buy Diaz to sit on the bench.

11.) 06 Feb 2022 20:50:04
How come your guess is "educated"?

12.) 06 Feb 2022 22:21:06
Self proclaimed/ awarded scholarship from the University if Life?
I think FSG have proven time and time again that when it comes to money and player purchases, it is all done behind closed doors and we know very little until it is done. Leave the running of the club to the owners and support the players while they wear the beautiful red shirt. Save the conjecture for click bait journalists and enjoy the ride. We have a great team, we always have a team we love and I feel we spend far too much time worrying about what ifs and players we don’t have, instead of enjoying what we do have, which is the best manager, staff and team that we have had in a long, long time.

13.) 06 Feb 2022 23:22:52
I bet we don’t sell either Mane or Salah in the summer - we won’t get anywhere near the price that we would want for either of them. That said Whilst it’s fun to speculate I wouldn’t have the first clue what FSG would consider acceptable particularly if yo factor in who (again I’d have no idea who it might even be) they might wish to buy as a replacement and at what price.

14.) 07 Feb 2022 00:31:03
AFCON Winner!

{Ed0666's Note - congratulations to the fella. What a fine example of a professional soccer player. I really feel a statue of Mane, Bobby & Salah at Anfield would be a fitting tribute to these guys.

15.) 07 Feb 2022 12:52:04
Even if Bobby and Mane want a final move somewhere else, it makes more sense to keep them until the end of their contracts, in order that we try and win as much as possible during Klopp's last 2 seasons.
This way they have the added motivation of knowing that where they end up depends on how well they play, which should bring the absolute best out of them.

On another tip, if i had to bet on where Klopp will go next, My money is on Napoli or Athletico Madrid. failing that he can have a year off and come back to the reds.

16.) 07 Feb 2022 13:54:24
I think Klopp will likely take a sabbatical from the game personally whilst he waits for the next project. He doesn't seem the type to rush into jobs. Napoli is a good shout - historic team with great past success and fan base-definitely a Klopp project.

17.) 07 Feb 2022 13:57:06
I’m hoping the AFCON victory fires Sadio back into his old form. And the loss for Salah will keep him hungry for Medals.
This was probably the best result for Liverpool.

26 Jan 2022 19:21:30
ED002, seen a recent rumour about Dybala "a person of interest as he will be out of contract in summer" is this anything you have heard my friend?

{Ed002's Note - No and I would have expected Liverpool to look to younger options.}

1.) 26 Jan 2022 20:07:10
As always Ed appreciate your response. 👍.

2.) 26 Jan 2022 20:09:02
Even if he’s free he’s to expensive for us 🤣.

3.) 27 Jan 2022 07:33:22
That’s cos you are mistaking ‘free’ for ‘no transfer fee’ Jay - a mistake that has been made before 😉.

4.) 27 Jan 2022 08:10:41
Its like when phone companies tell you you are getting a free upgrade, which actually means if you take the new handset, your bill will be 3 times what it is if you go sim only.

5.) 27 Jan 2022 10:14:37
Fair enough there's the signing on fee but doesn't a player still under contract ALSO get a signing on fee when they move to a new club?

6.) 27 Jan 2022 10:51:50
They do, but it's usually not as big Jadon. If a player and agent know you aren't paying £40m for him, they're liable to look for a larger signing on fee because without the transfer fee, you can afford it.

And if you don't pay it, someone else will.

The issue imo isn't that 'we can't afford him lol', the issue for me is that if we want to throw big money at a player in his late 20s, there are players at the club who already fit that description and are out of contract in less than 18 months.

If we're going to part company with one or two of those, surely we should look for a younger player, rather than one, who as good as he is, won't have any more years left in him than the guys we already have?

7.) 27 Jan 2022 11:10:56
I get that, and as i say i wasnt talking about Dybala in particular. But we are Liverpool, im sure we can afford free transfers signing on fee or not, if its someone Klopp actually wants.

8.) 27 Jan 2022 11:11:46
I'd say this is a dubious link. If it's serious then it shows we're moving away from our tried and tested model and towards something short term and desperate.

9.) 27 Jan 2022 12:03:12
It does kind of make sense to try and sign a mature player. I think it’s important to add that 28 year old is not past it and worthy of a contact.

We did this Thiago. Sadly it hasn’t worked out that well but it shows that the transfers seem to be a mixture of youth and experience.

It’s logical that the club brings in some slightly older players going forward as the team will loose several senior players due to age and that the majority some will be replaced with likes of Gordon, Elliot. With jones already starting to cement a slot.
There is a need to ensure that there remains some experience running through the team. Someone like dyabala makes sense to me. Wether it’s going to happen is another matter 🤣.

10.) 27 Jan 2022 12:10:42
There are fewer and fewer sides able to match such demands for ageing, injury prone 'stars'. PSG are becoming a graveyard for such players, along with Bosmans who want a big pay day.
I'd rather have the FSG model any day than working like that.
Who's left for Dybala? City? PSG. OR move to the footballing morgue, China or the middle east where money talks.
I am so glad to not even care for such players anymore. Those days are long gone.

11.) 27 Jan 2022 16:31:51
Every day there seems to be new names added to the list of signings we will make either now or in the Summer. Most, if not all of them 'clickbait'.

I prefer to wait until any signings are confirmed, but if everybody did that these pages wouldn't be nearly as much fun!

For me, no ins this month (only 4 days left) .

25 Jan 2022 16:41:56
Ed002, heard from a man on the street Newcastle have come in with a bid or started more negotiations with lfc for Nat Phillips, anything in this of late or still pretty cold?

{Ed002's Note - Nathaniel Phillips (CB) West Ham interest remains and an enquiry has been made by Brighton who are seeking a CB addition in January. Perhaps a consideration for Newcastle but certainly not first choice. Watford offer an option. If not over-priced he should get a move.}

1.) 25 Jan 2022 20:10:57
Good luck to him if he does go. Played a massive part in our recovery last season. Absolute warrior of a player.

2.) 25 Jan 2022 22:36:37
Would love to see him at Brighton, well run club, good position, and under the radar enough he won't be under too much pressure.

Think he could do a job at most places to be fair but worry he would be a stop gap at Newcastle until they can buy a £50m CB.

3.) 25 Jan 2022 22:48:04
If there is 1 player I would like to do well in his career after leaving liverpool its nat Phillips. Gives u 100% every game and would head an aeroplane if need be. A very underrated player imo in2 bargain as well.

4.) 26 Jan 2022 00:26:43
Whoever gets him is getting a solid reliable defender and a leader. If Michael Keane can play for England so can he. Mind you, if Phil Neville can play for England so can I.

5.) 26 Jan 2022 11:39:33
Give Brighton Phillips as a down payment for bissouma in the summer 😉.

{Ed001's Note - Matip would be better, suit their way of playing and be good to get rid of his obscene wages and not good enough defensive play.}

6.) 26 Jan 2022 12:20:16
Will be sold last day of the window, we won't see the funds and FSG get another profit window, same sh? t different window, can't wait for the big summer that is being promised yet again, is that 6/ 7 windows now it's been coming?

7.) 26 Jan 2022 12:47:46
Who promised a big summer of transfers?

8.) 26 Jan 2022 13:24:08
His mother.

9.) 26 Jan 2022 14:39:17
Ed1 In your opinion why does Klopp keep playing Matip? And who would you like to see next to Virgil, Konate or Gomez? I like both but think Konate is more than ready to for a partnership with Virgil.

{Ed001's Note - he likes him there, I just don't know why. I would go with Konate personally to try and get them developing a partnership.}

10.) 26 Jan 2022 14:59:19
abuse deleted

{Ed001's Note - childish idiot, go play on the motorway and do us all a favour.}

11.) 26 Jan 2022 15:12:01
In fairness the club never promised a big summer. If we pocket the money now, I’d rather not spend it until later as there’s absolutely no value in the winter market, and what with Salah, Mane and Keita coming back from AFCON, Elliott and Thiago back from injury, and Fabinho returning to some good form I think we can wait, better to keep what we have than waste money on players who won’t improve the side and will likely be hard to get rid of.

12.) 26 Jan 2022 16:10:33
100% VVVV. Unless it's a player that was earmarked for the summer and becomes available.

13.) 26 Jan 2022 16:36:23
There's a few articles out there where the talk is (usually comes from Werner not Henry) read one yesterday that we have big moves coming up that we haven't seen since 2018, normally comes out in the winter window, then we'll get to summer and contract renewals will be used for excuses as why we can't spend or some other excuse, most probably we will get funds from the Salah sale, which of course we know is coming, if the club can disrespect the worlds best player then how can we expect them to sign a top class talent on big wages to replace him, i don't know.

14.) 26 Jan 2022 18:50:23
What if Salah wants to go? What then Lancaster? He said he had unfinished business when he signed didn't he? Well he has nothing left to prove in English football so maybe he fancies a new challenge elsewhere.

15.) 26 Jan 2022 19:01:57
Lancaster, any links to these articles? Only stuff I saw was FSG buying the Pittsburgh Penguins and Werner getting engaged.

16.) 26 Jan 2022 20:09:30
Totally agree Eds1 Konate should be given time with vvd. May help vvd also.

17.) 26 Jan 2022 20:12:27
So to sum all that up, after reading an article on an obscure unnamed website we are now going to let Salah go after disrespecting him, then we won't attract top class talent.

Quite a leap.

18.) 26 Jan 2022 20:24:10
I’ve seen these articles, one was by a top guy at the echo and the other one I saw was from the same guy that broke the super league joke.

It is a reoccurring pattern though the FSG spin machine of a transfer “war chest” then nothing and a resigning of a top player on a new contract.

Lancaster you are right and I think more people are starting to see it.

19.) 27 Jan 2022 08:30:14
Hope so @Always, building a stand deflects some peoples eyes away from the fact the squad is being overlooked like usual, i will never deny the good FSG have done, but their limit has been reached and we are losing out, but seems only one website can be believed on here, had it before from propbably the same posters that anything anywhere else is rubbish.

20.) 27 Jan 2022 10:38:14
I'd be interested to see these articles were Werner himself has promised to spend big or is it just the typical Echo journo giving his opinion saying we will as usual? I had a look on the Echo website and then gave up after trying to close 234 adverts that kept popping up.

25 Jan 2022 08:12:09
I assume a few on here follow lfc transfer twitter rumours? Latest BS I read last night. "Klopp has asked FSG can they get him Declan Rice" 😂.

1.) 25 Jan 2022 09:32:00
I don't think we can even afford Uncle Bens Rice.

2.) 25 Jan 2022 10:52:53
Probably a translation mix up. Klopp asked FSG if they could get him an extra large rice for the takeaway.

Sadly the extra large rice went outside of the FSG financial model.

3.) 25 Jan 2022 12:04:09
Lmao at uncle bens rice!

Uncle bens rice and a packet of walkers crisps. Granted, not a great combo, but beggars can't be choosers.

4.) 25 Jan 2022 12:46:55
For the record it’s Bens rice!
Pc brigade be out 🙆🏻‍♂️.

5.) 25 Jan 2022 14:58:16
Lads I think you will find that it's not called uncle Ben's rice anymore, it's just Ben's rice. Stop being obsessed with our finance's and enjoy this great team, we are fighting on four fronts with some great players to come back, just enjoy.

{Ed0666's Note - that’s easier said than done mate. You can’t stop fans wanting to sign players

6.) 25 Jan 2022 15:31:30
I honestly thought "Ben's Rice" was just the Aldi rip off version 😂.

7.) 25 Jan 2022 15:37:56
I think if you actually read about the history of the naming of Uncle Bens rice then you would agree with the name change.

Unless you are a typical football fan from england who thinks they are superior to everyone because they were born in a particular country.

I agree with Mighty reds, stop fussing about money and stop filling the feed full of negative stuff. We don’t need to sign anyone at the moment and what is the point in going out and buying someone that won’t get on and will inevitably get the club into debt. That’s how United do things, not us. I like our transfer model. And this is arguably our most successful team since the 80’s. So wise up And come and support the team.

8.) 25 Jan 2022 16:18:36
Colin et al, I didn't know about the name change or about the historical context of the same, so apologies.

Although, I am fan from England but not sure if im typical or what that even constitutes considering the sheer number of fans the sport has. However, if the name was based around the subjugation, exploitation, manipulation or the like of peoples then im all for the change!

Im not obsessed with the financial side either. I actually love the fact that klopp is working magic with what he has, it makes it all that much sweeter and elevates his standing even more!

I don't comment much, but been reading for many many years. I just thought the witty remark about not being able to afford Bens rice, let alone declan rice was pretty funny! I don't think it was meant anything more than that. Gave me a laugh in what is very testing times.

9.) 25 Jan 2022 17:28:19
Haha, no worries man. Only winding you up anyway. I’m Irish myself, and lived in England for many years in the midlands, so I’m used to being spoken down to and disregarded. I have Indian friends who were also treated exactly the same. It’s no big deal, it’s just the way it is in parts of England. That’s why I love Liverpool. It’s a great city with great people, and none of this superiority elitist crap exists. Just good people, and pretty similar to me 😀.

I usually laugh at some of the ultra PC stuff cos it is just ridiculous but I suppose you have to see if from everyone’s point of view and whilst it might not be offenisve to us, it could be offensive to someone else. That’s all I was getting at really.

{Ed0666's Note - great post Monty totally agree with your thoughts.

10.) 25 Jan 2022 17:50:30
Anyway, all this chat about Rice has made me a bit peckish. Away to get my dinner.

{Ed025's Note - steak and chips colin?.. :)

11.) 25 Jan 2022 23:28:23
No worries Colin. Im a Sikh from the west midlands! Haha.

Now on with catching those mancs!

12.) 26 Jan 2022 07:20:09
Thanks for the heads up Colin. As Jaws said, it was just light hearted banter. I never watch news, read papers etc. so I completely miss a lot of things going on around the world. In fact the only media I read remotely regularly is BBC Sport and what's posted on this site!

13.) 26 Jan 2022 10:12:26
Best way to be. The news is pretty rubbishty these days. A lot of fear and anger out there and there really is no need.

With regards to transfers, it really is exciting when a new player comes in, but I really think our club is in a good position or “moment” as Jurgen would say. We could certainly add one or two to boost the squad, but there is no crisis and no need to worry or fear about the future. I accept we won’t win the league this season, but like we didn’t win it for 30 years but we still have some great memories and better memories from a pretty disappointing era, than spurs or city or any of these big spenders have had. So whilst Sky Sports and the media make this into some sort of Netflix special and feed us whatever narrative suits their motives, I am quite content to just trust Klopp and the Club to do the right thing. I think we are the best we have been since I start supporting the club, and getting a fancy person in with a nice Spanish sounding name might be good for Sky and newspapers etc, but is it really what the club need? I’d rather they developed some of these academy players we have.

01 Jan 2022 20:20:44
Belter rumour numero uno. Bobby firmino to Aston Villa in January? 🤣🤣.

1.) 01 Jan 2022 21:34:36
Nice start, like that one - trust the source is Bobby’s dentist?

2.) 01 Jan 2022 23:21:56
ED025's transfer valuation is 28p! could gerrard be persuaded to up the bid to a least 50p?

3.) 01 Jan 2022 23:40:08
This was Tony Cascarino's gut feeling. 🤣🤣.

4.) 02 Jan 2022 03:00:08
Don't discount Bobby wanting to move lads he will want to be playing regularly to stay in the Brazil squad for the world cup.

5.) 02 Jan 2022 10:08:31
Redjoe21, Villa have Watkins and Ings up top so not sure why Bobbie would go there and get more gale time ahead of those two hence, I agree that the source is Bobbie’s dentist.

6.) 02 Jan 2022 10:43:20
Tony Cascarino is the source. He said it on talksport or one of them shows. He also said it was based on no info only his gut feeling.

7.) 02 Jan 2022 12:05:44
Well if Tony Cascarino said it on Talkcrap then it 100% has to be true lad's.

8.) 02 Jan 2022 12:43:59
Selling Firmino with no money to buy a viable replacement and losing both Salah and Mane for four to five weeks because of the AFCON would be rank stupidity. Can’t see it myself.

9.) 02 Jan 2022 12:50:32
Lads, lads, it’s an old school rumour Bobby’s dentist or a cockney’s gut feeling …. It’s a nice start to the window 👍👍.

10.) 02 Jan 2022 15:43:30
If that's Cascarino's gut feeling then he's got food poisoning and needs to take a good dump.
Like we'll let Bobby go when we're already short up front after today.

{Ed0666's Note - 😂😂😂

11.) 02 Jan 2022 15:49:41
Apparently we sold Lovern without replacing him. Gini the same.

12.) 02 Jan 2022 22:39:37
I hear Real Madrid are in for Elliot - I thought that would be a nice addition to the rumours page.

Would love to get ed001's opinion on potential players lfc go for in summer? I have read a few lines that a back up RB may well come in but let's be honest TAA has that nailed down so I can't imagine a established RB from another club want to come in as he will be on the bench most if the time. We have tried with neco Williams who seemed to be a decent understudy to TAA but wanted game time and the abuse the kid got when he did play (somehow everyone expected him to be upto speed straight away after playing couple mins here and there) seemed to affect his confidence so the little switch away came at a good time for him. I understand we shouldn't stand still and keep moving the squad forward but I don't know how to do it and keep players happy. Sorry for a but of a long winded message. 🤣.

{Ed001's Note - you have to stick with the youngsters really, that is the only thing to do.}

1.) 17 Apr 2022 17:58:56
Tsmiskas is doing a very good job on the left. Why can’t we have one on the right?

2.) 17 Apr 2022 21:32:19
What exactly do you mean by sticking with the youngsters Ed001?

{Ed001's Note - we have a few good right backs in the academy to use as cover, no need to buy one.}

3.) 17 Apr 2022 22:19:58
Ah gotcha Ed001 like Bradley.

4.) 18 Apr 2022 00:33:25
I thought Gomez was an excellent deputy. If we can keep him he is perfect as a versatile defender.

5.) 18 Apr 2022 01:41:10
Sepp Van Den Berg?

28 Jan 2022 15:34:43
Whilst I won't be 100% happy until we see the lean and pics of Diaz on the lfc website it's looking promising to say the least (I won't count chickens ala fekir a few summers back when was all tied up b4 fell through) that he will be signing. We all hear a few snippets and rumours and get excited and I would pressume spurs pursuit of him has made us make our move now. Looks like we was going to wait till summer and then pursuit but from what I've seen he seems like he could fit us very nicely indeed. No idea how this going to impact Bobby or sadio but for some reason I see Bobby being the first one sacrificed, switch manè back over to right, dias and jota fighting for the left hand side and salah us through the middle. Don't know why but if manè stays next year I can see that's how we will play it. Never mind that tho hopefully he signs on the dotted line in next couple hours and we can all play fantasy footy with formations after. YNWA.

{Ed0666's Note - I think Mane will be surplus mate.

1.) 28 Jan 2022 16:40:14
Let’s hope we wrap up the deal.

I think this will mean mane goes, although personally I would prefer Bobby went and we move mane to the cf role. Eds do you know if Diaz can play cf as well as left forward?

{Ed002's Note - that would not be the plan,}

2.) 28 Jan 2022 16:06:08
In all fairness you may very well be right ed666, I jus think we won't get a fee close to what we will ask for manè and can see him staying. I'm probably completely wrong and he will go but think Bobby might have more suitors for some reason than sadio. But hey its all about opinions and no-one know. 👍.

{Ed0666's Note - if I had to bet my last £20 I’d say Mane & Bobby will leave in the summer.

3.) 28 Jan 2022 18:49:58
If you are right Ed it will mean we need another signing. It’s definitely not boring being a Liverpool fan at the moment.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m only speculating mind I don’t know but moving Bobby & Sadio on in the summer makes footballing and financial sense. Giving them both new contracts to protect their value doesn't as we would get the same for them on 18 months left or 5 years left.

29 Dec 2021 18:03:56
Last night wasn't ideal for the title race, I'll admit I was messaging my brother something along the lines of congratulations to Manchester City 2021/ 2022 prem champs. My frustration got the better of me and I wanted to sell everyone after the game, football eh? Makes some people loose sight after a loss. Lol
Upon reflection the game could have been very different, if salah scores the pen I genuinely believe we go on and win by 3 or 4, if manè scores his chance we go on and win aswel no doubt. As ed001 said, this time of year teams have an off day and this happens. Let's hope city do tonight. Either way hope we keep on fighting and make it a season to remember. YNWA.

As I said few months back we've More chance of winning CL then League this season

With C.V. now makes it more difficult for us, City with the squad they've I'll be shocked if anyone can stop then now, unless they just collapse with injuries after injuries tho.

2.) 29 Dec 2021 18:29:58
One game at a time there are months left in the season.

We were poor against Leicester but let’s see if it was a one off. I wouldn’t throw in the towel just yet.

3.) 29 Dec 2021 19:40:27
This club doesn't do things the easy way anyway!
We can't win or play scintillating football every game, it's over and done with so on to the next.

4.) 29 Dec 2021 20:02:50
Yep one game at a time and see where we go. Most depressing thing is we could be perfect from Sunday and it might not be enough.

5.) 29 Dec 2021 20:18:17
True, it's a hard thing to bear. But it is what it is, and it ain't over until the somewhat curvy non gender specific person sings.

6.) 29 Dec 2021 21:36:13
Being perfect from now until the end of th season would actually be enough for me.

I used to go to the match and now watch on the inter web from Oz to watch us play the best foo5ball we can. If we do then the chances are we will win cups and titles, but that’s not the point for me. There is no greater feeling than coming home from a match when everything just ‘clicks’ - you know that the team would have beaten anyone put in front of them. That’d football. That’s why I’m a Liverpool fan.

And to repeat an earlier post - we were poor against Leicester and didn’t deserve the win. If we lose the title by three points or less I’ll look back at the game and think that we lost the league because in the game against Leicester we didn’t play the way we all know we can, which will be hard to take but is fair enough.

7.) 29 Dec 2021 21:48:54
I did the same last night. Bad display but not the end of the world.

Stay positive, long way to go my friends.

Mane scores a winner Sunday he will be a legend again. 🙌

Jurgen has said many times, more important things than a game of football.

Come on you redmen!

8.) 30 Dec 2021 13:47:06
OP, I felt the very same emotions you felt right after the gale BUT that is natural after a game like that. It happens in footie. It is what it is. We got to keep going and start winning again. Forget the title and all that and focus on just playing well and winning again and see what happens.

Giving up? Nah, bro. Ain’t happening. This team and manager do NOT deserve that, IMO. They have made my dreams come true against ALL odds. I have never quit on Klopp or these players and I’m not going to start now esp with 57 points on the table to win. Save that for the glory hunters, man.

Agreed, think milner alongside keita and Morton is a good thing. Matip and konate will need to have a good game today I think.

19 Dec 2021 14:35:12
Looks like we have a few out today with C.V.. Be interesting to see team news.

1.) 19 Dec 2021 15:37:07
Morton starting, good chance for him to show what he’s got. Good that he’s got Milner alongside him for his experience.

2.) 19 Dec 2021 15:43:40
no Van Dyke, Henderson, Fabihno, Thiago or Jones.

3.) 19 Dec 2021 15:45:28
Delighted for the kid.

4.) 19 Dec 2021 15:54:06
Jones is just returning from injury anyway so doesn’t count for me. That said, We still have our front 3 plus literally the most dangerous player on the planet available with Ox and Naby to pinch in when needed. We have Gomez at CB as well if needed. It is what it is. Let’s go get it done! Up Da Pool.

5.) 19 Dec 2021 15:55:37
Thiago out with C.V.!

6.) 19 Dec 2021 15:26:27
Thiago is out.

7.) 19 Dec 2021 15:35:42
So only Thiago has a positive test, so wonder where VVD is?

Weak midfield but if they work hard then the rest of the team should be strong enough.

8.) 20 Dec 2021 08:30:29
VVD is isolating.

Cheers for response ed002, regarding manè I can't imagine lfc wanting to deal with prem clubs if was to sell him. I would pressume real Madrid have other targets aswel as barca. So would imagine would only be PSG who would be a viable option?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea - none of those clubs have a declared interest at this time.}

Hahaha, I thought as much ed002. Man can only dream I suppose, or go play some football manager and get lfc to buy him. As always appreciate the response. 🙏.

Ye, was expecting as much. Not that I've actually seen much of Rodrygo so no idea if he any good. Was just something come across today. Cheers for the info as always ed002. 👍.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

Manè picks up a knock playing for Sengal and LFC should look at the own medical staff? Can't make this rubbish up on here. 🤣.

So think most of us here agree a extended run in team for Kostas is deserved. I tend to agree defensively he may not be as solid as Andy but think with extended run he could prove to be an excellent option.
