Christopher Nkunku of RB Leipzig, do we have interest on him Ed? Appreciate for your view. Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath.}

14 Aug 2021 16:34:01
James Balagizi strikes again on u18 today's match. Hopefully Klopp will give him a chance to play with the senior team. Home grown player and available to play in midfield and forward position.

26 Feb 2021 23:16:28
Hi ed. what do you think about florian neuhaus of moenchengladbach? Do you know which player that liverpool has been scouted for gini's replacement mate? Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - Florian Neuhaus (CM) There remains significant interest in the Borussia Muenchengladbach player with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund seeing him as a player who will continue to improve. Real Madrid see him as an option in midfield and his representative has made no secret that there has been interest from elsewhere including Manchester City, Spurs, Juventus and the Milanese clubs, but Milan seems a less likely destination. Borussia Dortmund would have pushed hard for him but they have growing money issues and the arrival of Rose will likely mean they will look elsewhere. As I have previously explained, Liverpool have spoken to Bissouma's representatives or perhaps should look to Grujic instead.}

1.) 27 Feb 2021 10:52:50
Got a feeling Neuhaus might be this year’s Werner.

{Ed077's Note - the "interest" in Neuhaus doesn't look to be that "serious" right now.}

2.) 27 Feb 2021 13:46:41
Anyone seen much of Grujic this season? I'd love to see him come good for us and save us having to spend big bucks on replacing a player for who we will get no transfer fee!

3.) 27 Feb 2021 17:12:49
How easy would it be to get a work permit for Grujic Ed?

{Ed002's Note - It will be easier under the new rules.}

4.) 27 Feb 2021 18:00:50
Thank Ed.

5.) 28 Feb 2021 12:10:21
I know that there was talk about Marko not working hard in training and was mentioned again when he went to Cardiff.

6.) 28 Feb 2021 12:52:16
Thank you for answering my question about florian neuhaus ed. however, what is the consideration that lfc is still hoping to grujic? He don't respect his team mate as he mentioned Adrian after his under performance on his social media and Grujic also failed to become starting 11 player at Porto and hertha berlin. There are some players (one of them is Grujic) that lfc should sell at any price on summer to reduce wage bills and make financial healthier.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool proiced him out of a move for the past two years - hence the loans. I expect he will be available in the summer and one of the players sold to raise funds.}

7.) 01 Mar 2021 10:58:00
Ed002 - you mentioned contact with Bissouma’s representatives, has this been done with Brighton’s blessing given the history of the club? It is looking likely the centre midfield will undergo changes possibly with Wijnaldum leaving is Bissouma the only target we are focused on.

{Ed002's Note - This was a while ago and I am pretty sure that Liverpool have not approached Brighton about Bissouma.}

8.) 01 Mar 2021 23:13:18
And what do you think about raphael varane's rumours to lfc ed? I know it will not easy to get his signature considering his wage bill.

{Ed077's Note - RTP or use the search function. It was dealt with a few days ago}

07 Sep 2020 06:05:07
Does LFC have interested on Evanilson (Fluminense) Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Evanilson (S) has been watched by scouts of a number of European sides over the past year with at least Braga, Crystal Palace, Rukh Lviv and Nagoya Grampus making enquiries.}

1.) 07 Sep 2020 10:42:05
Literally never heard of the last two teams.

2.) 07 Sep 2020 13:10:36
Wenger started off at Nagoya Grampus is my memory serves BigVirg.

{Ed001's Note - he went there from Monaco.}

3.) 07 Sep 2020 13:46:03
Gary Lineker as well wasn’t it?

4.) 08 Sep 2020 19:10:51
Just read in the Brazilian press that he's been sold to Porto.

25 Aug 2020 01:17:19
Hi Eds. i read some sources that LFC is now monitoring Kristoffer Ajer as Lovren replacement. Do you hear this rumour too and what do you think about it? Thanks mate.

{Ed002's Note - Kristoffer Ajer (CB) Milan see Ajar as a cheaper option to their primary target but funds may not stretch as they look to sell players and buy lower priced alternatives. With other options falling by the wayside, Ajar is of interest to Leicester. Top of the list for Atletico Madrid - but only if they lose a CB - which they are trying to avoid. Previous interest of Spurs, Newcastle and Ajax has moved on. I am not aware of Liverpool making any approach for him.}

Hi Ed. thank you for always sharing phenomenal information and thoughts about liverpool fc. May i asked about what is the main reason from the lfc management team to expand the Anfield stadium? Knowing we're now on the C.V. situation and financial difficulties, it will be better to postpone the stadium expansion.

{Ed002's Note - The expansion to the ground was always in two phases - the first is complete the second is on the cards. It is unrelated to transfer spending.}

1.) 29 Jul 2021 22:09:25
Ifarachmadi - The ground work on the Anfield road end has already started mate.

2.) 30 Jul 2021 00:25:06
Infrastructure and other non squad expenses are deductible when it comes to FFP.

3.) 30 Jul 2021 02:43:42
Thanks Ed, Drogie and Fuser mate. I know that the expansion has already started. I just want to know what is the main reason to expand the stadium during this kind of situation. Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - If you are referring to the pandemic everyone expects and hopes it will be over by the time the changes have been made.}

4.) 30 Jul 2021 09:15:01
Ed002 has spent the last 18 months or so explaining that the finances of FSG’s ownership model are strongly related to match day revenue and sponsorship.
There’s your answer, increase the capacity, increase the availability of ready cash at the club’s disposal.

{Ed002's Note - After the works have been paid for.}

5.) 30 Jul 2021 09:41:50
I would think it is very good business from FSG as it will add value to the club without them spending there money for when they cash in. Ed001 do you know if they plan to carry on with ground expansions the Kop would be nice expansion.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know, but if the waiting list is still there, they will want to fit people in if they can. Like you said, it makes good business sense to invest in things like that as it increases the long term value of the brand.}

6.) 30 Jul 2021 12:54:29
Ed001 am sure there is still demand and looking at the ground the square footage of the Kop compared to the Anfield road end looks like we have the space nearly all ready there but might be a harder and more expensive upgrade. As for the Kenny Dalglish stand Ed do you think we would be able to buy the houses needed to complete that site expansion. With a lot of fans coming from outside the city it would bring in millions of £ every year what has got to be very good for the city. I was at one champions league game and 2 chinese lads had flown in just for the match and flew back the next day that sort of thing shows how committed fans from around the world are I don’t think I would do that must be a 10 hour flight.

{Ed001's Note - it is always possible to buy the houses, the area is about to be refurbed anyway, so it would probably be the time to upgrade.}

7.) 30 Jul 2021 19:34:54
Anfield is only the 38th largest stadium in Europe at present. It would really be something if we could expand from 61k up to the early 80k's. Easier said than done, of course. But home stadium size is really the big stick that helps your brand and club. And with average ticket prices at Anfield being 30% to 40% lower than what they are for the London clubs, the club could use every advantage available to it.

Is there anyone here have a discussion about Arat Hosseini? I think he will be the next Salah on the next 10-12 years 😁. Currently, he was at LFC Academy.

1.) 05 Jun 2021 04:55:10
Why would anyone be talking about a 7 year old kid? That’s just weird.

{Ed0666's Note - why is that weird? The kids got mad skills and the OP is wowed by them and eulogizing the kid. If I could do a millionth of what that kid can do with a football I’d be shouting from the rooftops to all and sundry. Praising a seven year old kid is not weird parents do it the world over every day does that make them weird?

2.) 05 Jun 2021 05:39:26
Parents being proud of their own kid is one thing, fans discussing a 7 year old kid on a football site is something else.

{Ed0666's Note - People discuss the kids on the TV show Britain’s Got Talent on forums all the time how is that weird??? You’re weird for thinking it’s weird. Was the OP sexualising the kid? No he was merely pertaining to his innate soccer ability. Please stop being a wally and reading into things that aren’t there.

3.) 05 Jun 2021 05:39:55
I mean seriously, we all know football starts at age 18. Don't know why women have to get involved also. 🤓.

{Ed0666's Note - next there will be women’s football teams.

4.) 05 Jun 2021 06:34:43
HE’S SEVEN! He should be playing football with his mates in the playground, grown adults shouldn’t be talking about him on a football website, the fact that you can even google his name is just messed up.

5.) 05 Jun 2021 06:51:23
You are messed up Thunder. Clearly you don't understand what young kid talent is. There is a kids Eurovision where small children sing in front of the world, not in front of their dolls in their room as per your logic.

Kid is a massive talent and I wish him all the best, hopefully he can stay focused as we all know how hot and cold they can be with their dreams.

6.) 05 Jun 2021 08:29:51
This whole thread is weird 😳.

7.) 05 Jun 2021 14:23:34
Weird site this.

8.) 05 Jun 2021 19:03:52
Thunderbird making an idiot of himself yet again. Maybe you need to turn down the confrontational replies to your fellow posters Thunderbird and you wouldn't keep doing this?

{Ed0666's Note - I never thought I’d see the day we can’t praise and laud a seven year old kids footballing skills. So let me get this straight we are now cancelling 7 year old footballers with talent? As that where we are in life? Society has some real wankers and a lot of them are on this site!!!

20 Feb 2021 19:57:49
Besides our poor performances. Owners shown unhelpful and stingy to Klopp, the manager who has brought success to LFC like no other manager in recent times. We are playing gamble on signing a championship player and a guy who had lost 20 league games. We're so lucky to sold Coutinho so we can used the fund for AB and VVD. I don't know what will happen if the Coutinho's transfer to Barcelona was immaterialize.

{Ed0666's Note - FSG (FRUGAL SPORTS GROUP)

1.) 20 Feb 2021 21:57:21
ed002 has explained countless times that the owners bought against future planned income. It means the team we built to win the CL and PL was affordable because it ended successfully. Think about all the players that were bought in to make that success happen, no doubt all the contract bonuses and extra transfer fee add ons as well due to the wins. Also think about all the contract renewals that have taken place over this time. Ed isn't lying to us, the money simply isn't there. To top it all of we still bought a new LB cover, cover for the front 3 and Thiago, they didn’t all come cheap. We can put this season so far down to a combination of terrible luck with injuries, and some all round poor performances too, but it’s really not the owners’ fault.

2.) 20 Feb 2021 22:26:27
What 03beef said.

C.V. came at the worst possible time for us. We needed to start refreshing the squad last summer but C.V. prevented that. That said we got Jota, and Thiago, so perhaps only a first class CB was missing - but the injuries have just been unimaginable.

No one could have mitigated against that even if they had a crystal ball.

3.) 20 Feb 2021 22:53:34
Blame the owners all we want but the players on that pitch were more than good enough to put up a fight. The only one doing that was Henderson.

4.) 20 Feb 2021 22:55:33
Owners who stopped us from going into administration, owners that helped bring klopp here, owners that bought back the big one.

Are they perfect, far from it but finances have been hit hard across the board.

I'd rather have a club to support then wish they spent money they don't have.

5.) 21 Feb 2021 01:31:43
I think it’s time we accept that we don’t have City or Chelsea’s owners. They are not going to bankroll us and they have never said they would. What they did say is they would bring success and they have done that.
This isn’t FIFA. We’ve been successful with good recruitment and good management. The right way.
Stop wishing for something that isn’t going to happen and blaming the owners who have given us exactly what they promised.

{Ed0666's Note - For me when you care about someone/something you do everything you can to make them/it better even if it comprises you. It’s evident Liverpool are just business for FSG and that’s ok but doesn’t stop me from having my opinion on them.

31 Jan 2021 17:23:47
Ben davies from preston. What do you think ed?

{Ed002's Note - See previous answer.}

31 Aug 2020 03:06:05
I read some article that Barcelona has set release clause on Luis Suarez around 14 mio euro. I think its a quite good bargain instead of Ismailla Sarr if we seek rotation player for salah-mane-firmino. However, i also noticed that suarez will cause high wage bills for LFC. What do you think Eds?

{Ed0666's Note - His wages will be astronomical for a 33 year old, his best days are well and truly behind him and he left the club under a grey cloud to say the least. Oh yes there’s the racial furor he caused which lost Kenny Dalglish his job, and biting incident while a Liverpool player. I forgot to mention he threatened to take the club to court if they didn’t let him move to Arsenal. For these reasons I’m sure the vast majority of fans wouldn’t want him back.

1.) 31 Aug 2020 03:54:48
Suarez is best well away from the club, the way he left was a disgrace, can not stand the guy.

2.) 31 Aug 2020 04:45:28
I agree with Ed0666. Having watched him recently, I agree his best days are def behind him. Knees have gone. But ignoring that, why open the can of worms of all his other issues. not worth the grief.

3.) 31 Aug 2020 07:42:40
Suarez cannot run anymore. That itself makes him absolutely useless to us.

4.) 31 Aug 2020 07:54:03
Arsenal will offer £14 million and a pound and price us out of a move.

{Ed001's Note - I hope so.}

5.) 31 Aug 2020 09:23:34
He'll never be welcome at Liverpool again, by the owners and Klopp, they won't want him. He caused far too much hassle last time around, we don't need idiots like that part of this club.

6.) 31 Aug 2020 09:58:46
But do you know what the craziest thing is lad's some not many but some fan's would take him back no problem.

7.) 31 Aug 2020 10:55:40
It baffles me Barry mate, same as some wanting Coutinho back.

8.) 31 Aug 2020 11:56:25
I still don’t understand why he wanted to go to Arsenal.

9.) 31 Aug 2020 12:01:16
Phenomenal footballer in his day. Could do almost anything with the ball at his feet.
Problem is, anytime he doesn’t have the ball he’s a complete and utter twat.

10.) 31 Aug 2020 12:02:29
Them two things Salah mate I'll never be able to explain.

11.) 31 Aug 2020 12:07:51
Do you think that at the time we needed him much more which is why so many would have welcolmed back.

Now we have the best team since the 80's so more supporters don't care.

I certainly don't want him back by the way.

12.) 31 Aug 2020 12:20:49
Yes you may have a point there WR.

13.) 31 Aug 2020 17:29:23
Suarez is done. The End.

{Ed025's Note - he was done many years ago, a total scum bag..

Do you guys still trust Ed source when they never mentioned darwin nunez and luis diaz targeted by LFC but in the end LFC was bought them?

{Ed002's Note - Fine, I won’t provide anything further in terms of transfers to the Liverpool page until after the Summer window.}

How about Kevin Mantilla and Bella kotchap of southampton ed? I think both players also has a prospect future and quite good enough to replace/ back up joel matip and vvd and also considering there was small chances for southampton to stay at EPL next season. We also knew that we can not rely on VVD in every matches. Does LFC has put them as a target for the next summer Ed?

{Ed002's Note - They are just randomn names youa re asking about. It is a waste of my time to answer.}

Hi Ed, do you have any thoughts on Kevin Mantilla, Jesper Lindstrom moises caceido and alex Mac alister of brighton?
Does liverpool still keep them on the list for the summer transfer window?

Besides midfielder jude bellingham, mattheus nunes and mason mount that Fabrizio Romano has mentioned about liverpool target for next summer, do you have other names that liverpool have looking at for midfielder and defender position?

Thank you Ed.

{Ed002's Note - All of this has been explained.}

Nicolo Zaniolo was being put on transfer list. There also some news saying that Emile Smith Rowe will also being put on transfer list. Any thoughts about that Ed? Is there any chance for LFC to look after on these players Ed? Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - Nicolo Zaniolo (RW/AM) is wanted by Juventus as a Chiesa replacement but Juve would much prefer to keep the player. Milan may offer an option. Spurs have asked after the player as has a third party on behalf of Manchester United. Roma will sell at the right price to help ease debt, but that price will be significant - Juve might have the edge over Milan and. discount Manchester United. Prior interest of Chelsea has returned as they look to replace wide players but he is not top of their list. Nottingham Forest and Newcastle offer wildcard options.
Emile Smith-Rowe (AM) Will likely make way if YT joins.}

Nice post MK mate. However, IMO to leapfrog Man Utd EPL collection trophies is also a priority to be achieved by LFC. And we have great opportunity under Klopp now.

I think Marcel Sabitzer or Ward-Prowse is a good alternative if we unavailable to get Bissouma. I think LFC need a player who brave to take a chance to shoot the ball outside the penalty box.

How about marcel sabitzer and james ward-prowse ed? Are they on the liverpool target list player to buy? Sabitzer is a versatile player, he's available to play on midfield and central forward, his long shot also good and cmiiw, his contract will expire next year. Ward-prowse national team player, experienced EPL and home grown player.

{Ed0666's Note - Sabitzer is not a top 4 premiership player in my opinion. Nor is ward Prowse. If either were to sign I would be hugely underwhelmed.

Is there any possibility that LFC will accept offer for origi, shaqiri, nat phillips below the price tag and FSG as the owner will inject share holder loan to add funds for Klopp to get players like we have always discussed together here 1 CM and 1 versatile forward. With the condition stadium has been expanded, the fans are available go to the stadium, FSG should not be worried the share holder loan will get repaid. Hopefully FSG has the same view that under Klopp is the best chances for LFC to leap frog Man Utd's EPL trophies collection.
