Eds, if you have a moment. Have any of the loaned players preformed to a level whereas interest has been generated.? Secondly, will Liverpool actively look to sell players this month, ie Adrian, origi etc. P. S if this has been covered apologies and if so what keywords should I search? Thanks in advance!
{Ed002's Note - I think a couple will leave on loan as I have explained. Liverpool will not want to sell first team squad players who would need replacing.}

Is anyone else of the opinion that a 343 or 352 formation could be used in order to give the like or neco Williams, tsimikas more chances this year.

In short no. Don't see how that would even give them more opportunities? But we definitely won't be changing our system to a 3 at the back any time soon I would imagine.

I've always thought it'd make sense but I just don't think Klopp would do it.
Although to be fair, during the game Fabinho will often join a back 3 with wing backs out wide. it's pretty fluid.

If it ever went to a back 5, it would be to fit another CB on the field to get Trent n Robbo closer to the opposite corner flags.
It won’t happen much tho, I think the biggest formation change you’ll see is Mane Salah Jota and Bobby all on the pitch at the same time which we’ve seen already obviously.

struggling to understand how this would give those two more chances? They are firmly behind Robbo and TAA. so no matter what the system, surely their chances are only due to rotation or covering injury? Sorry, if I've misunderstood your point!

My thinking would be meaning less defensive responsibilities for in this instance Neco with 3 cb who can play out from the back and have the pace to cover (ie Konate Gomez and VVD) . I'd be of the opinion more game time would aid the physicality of the league in their development. Also, the 3 cb's would possibly give more freedom to the cm's chosen. Just curious as to your thoughts.

aha right. well if the question is about system, then for me it would just come down to what system brings out the best in the whole team. I can see what you mean for Neco and Tsimikas but wonder if Klopp would only do that in limited circumstances? I tend to think that Klopp has his system and then will plug away in training for players to get up to speed to contribute when called up.

Again, confused with the OP’s comment. We can barely field 2 fit CB’s consistently and now we should field 3? Also, You don’t use a system you have never used in years just to give back up players more chances. Baffling comment.

Like it's been already said. It's completely fluid. Depends on the opponent and what phase of the game we are in and if we are in possession or not. We rarely stay in the same shape as when we are at kickoff. We probably go through 3-4 formations and shapes during a game. It's modern football.

Ed002, hypothetical question. For arguments sake, say a club sold a player and inserted a 20% sell on fee. If the same club then bought that player back, does the club they're buying from still have to fork over 20% of the sale? Or is that waived because it's the players original team re-signing the player?

English clubs have flexed muscle for years. saudis are just doing what the prem teams did to their counterparts in Italy, France etc. nothing wrong with competition however unfair it is, such is life.
I put Mo on the highest pedestal. the money being circulated in business terms is ridiculous and if the Saudis really want Mo they'll pay whatever it takes. As much as I don't want it to happen I believe fsg will quote them a figure and it's firmly in the Saudis hands whether they want it enough.

I find this rather amusing. Nobody has a clue who endo is yet have deemed him a failure. ashamed to call myself "one of the best fans in the world" ? based on people input here.
Learn a thing or two from Ed here, if you don't know (specifically on the endo rumours i mean) there's no harm admitting it and moving on than writing something off.

We lost concentration for a few moments and were unable to break madrid down. it happens. You can't afford to switch off in big games. Courtouis made one or two good saves and the rest was poor finishing / decisions, again pressure creates the environment.

Midfield was poor but we were playing a proper side. Everyone has an off day. I'm also a believer if your good enough you play so imo Jones isn't absolved of going missing either. Milly did OK, for some reason Foden seems to up his game against us. I don't get the gomez right full tbh. Imo his positional sense isn't great and gets caught under balls far too often. We got away with a point, take it move on. We will be there at the business end! YNWA.

Jones was off it second half, great strike though. Perhaps not the best time to take him off being on a high after scoring. Credit to Brentford, bullied TAA, picked there battles and go away with a point. Still early days, I'm confident we will be there at the business end.
