1.) 01 Aug 2023 16:34:39
I think we'll go back for Lavia.

2.) 01 Aug 2023 16:44:11
doesn't he play for Fluminense, there transfer window shuts tomorrow so would not be able to replace him, can't see it happening.

3.) 01 Aug 2023 16:58:35
Anyone know much about him? Is he any good?

4.) 01 Aug 2023 17:10:38
We should get on the Lav.

{Ed025's Note - its not called a lav anymore Ace..its a Jordan Henderson mate.. :)

5.) 01 Aug 2023 17:30:47
What I have read is the transfer window closes on August 13th.

{Ed002's Note - No.}

6.) 01 Aug 2023 17:31:21
We will be back in for lavia no one only bids twice 3rd offer is always the final 1 I assume a lot of talks carrying on tonight and tomorrow with the 3rd bid not far behind .

{Ed002's Note - Talks between who?}

7.) 01 Aug 2023 20:40:21
The Brazilian TW ends on Aug 2nd, I read.

8.) 01 Aug 2023 23:02:39
just looked on fifa site and that says tomorrow there.

{Ed002's Note - It doesn’t matter. What is wrong with all of you?}

9.) 02 Aug 2023 00:03:17
Member when we all got upset because our transfer window shut before everyone else’s. Why was that? ….

10.) 02 Aug 2023 02:29:49
What matters are when the last date is for LFC to registre new players. Am i correct ed02?

{Ed002's Note - The Transfer Window.}

11.) 02 Aug 2023 16:56:41
I think we have just melted ED2's brain. But seriously . why is there a window anyway man.

06 Jun 2023 13:57:18
Mac Alister to undergo medical, the rebuild starts.

1.) 06 Jun 2023 15:33:52
Last summers signing almost complete!
Now we need to do January's midfielder and then we can start our window ?.

2.) 06 Jun 2023 16:21:53
You need to move on mate. Hopefully 3 more signings and we will be challenging.

3.) 06 Jun 2023 17:40:18
I for one am looking forward to this signing if we get some of our other targets it’ll be exciting for the start of the new season and I can’t wait.

4.) 06 Jun 2023 19:13:34
Yeah me too, Mark and Victors love child. For me the transfer window and watching them bed in is the best part. It’s a major bummer when someone highly rated or highly priced comes in and doesn’t hit the ground running. It’s so important for players to get off to a good start, look at Nunez and Joe Cole for example. I’ve got a good feeling about Mac Allister. I watched him at the World Cup and their whole midfield was excellent. At the time, Liverpool had zero legs or energy in midfield and I would have taken any of the Argentina midfielders in a heartbeat. He was my pick of the bunch simply because he has already played in England. It’s always a bit of a gamble with South Americans, but this guy has PL experience. It’s a great signing. Klopp has a great team around him and whoever does business like this should be commended.

5.) 06 Jun 2023 20:14:47
Let's go get Thuram and Kone next (I'm greedy) .

6.) 06 Jun 2023 20:33:12
@LFC8 2022 has been and gone mate, look for the fun coming in the future.

7.) 06 Jun 2023 22:32:08
Did someone just compare Nunez to Joe Cole? I’m hoping the only reference is that they both got sent off early in their Liverpool careers because to compare the players, their experience, their price tags, their qualities is like chalk and cheese!

8.) 07 Jun 2023 00:12:12
Mark and Victors love child, I hope you’re not expecting any child support, because that’s not going to happen.

Sky Germany reporting that Bobby is to leave at the end of the season.

Redpathreds

1.) 03 Mar 2023 12:30:58
Knows he's going to be a bit part player and emotions aside its the right decision. He's been great for us. Part of a world class front 3 for a long time that won everything.

2.) 03 Mar 2023 12:42:12
If true, it’s probably the right time.
He will leave as an absolute legend and (i hope) with everyone’s best wishes.

3.) 03 Mar 2023 13:09:44
Unbelievable work rate, always put the team first and had that bit of magic. Was great to watch him when he was at his best. Unfortunately his best probably is behind him but he will probably play some good football for someone. Best of luck to him. Time to move on.

4.) 03 Mar 2023 13:24:27
Wait and see what happens before giving him a golden send-off.
I'll be sad to see a personal favourite go, but football moves on.
What a player though, so elegant to watch and such a tireless worker for the team.

{Ed025's Note - great couple of years flash then has gone downhill for the last 4 mate. Now I don’t like to rain on anyone’s parade but it’s not before time..

5.) 03 Mar 2023 13:30:15
Anything more than a 1 year deal would have been blind loyalty from us but 1 year wouldn’t suit him. Hopefully Lindstrom can come in to replace him.

6.) 03 Mar 2023 13:52:37
If he goes he goes as a legend and he wore the shirt with pride.
However if he does go and so does OX, keita, Milner, matip and any others they will all need replacing with either quality or youth. If its the Former its going to cost a lot of Money. But whatever happens we support the redmen. YNWA.

7.) 03 Mar 2023 13:51:45
On point again Ed025 ?. You sure do hammer into successful players mate, but not seen you do the same to unsuccessful players yet who play across the park.

{Ed025's Note - you must not read the everton pages much then DTD, i regularly slaughter those under performing reprobates mate and i would get rid of 90%of them in a heartbeat..

8.) 03 Mar 2023 18:13:53
Very sad to see him go, he has been excellent at Liverpool.
I think the making of him, in hindsight, was the departure of Coutinho.
I know that I was certainly fearful how that was going to affect the team at that time but Bobby reinvented himself as that play maker come foil to Mane and Salah, whilst still being able to get vital goals himself.
Gakpo has filled that role and looks good so far.

9.) 03 Mar 2023 18:26:14
Very sad to see him go. Great football brain. Thank you and best wishes wherever you go Bobby.

10.) 03 Mar 2023 20:06:22
Unfortunately for him, he still can't string a sentence after 6 yrs in England, such a shame.

11.) 04 Mar 2023 00:52:10
Doesn’t have to string a sentence together just string passes and he’s done that with aplomb Leek.

12.) 04 Mar 2023 01:53:26
I said about 3 years ago that he was my favourite player of the premier league era.
That smile, goal celebrations, unselfishness and work ethic made him a poor joy. How can anyone not like the guy?
Will always remember him putting the arsenal defence on the floor.

13.) 05 Mar 2023 05:37:26
Bobby is one of the most stylish players i've ever seen. What an absolute legend. I wish he and his family the very best for their next move. Thank you Bobby.

14.) 06 Mar 2023 11:36:51
Thank you for the memories Bobby.

One of my favourite Liverpool memories of recent times, is echoes of Si Senor ringing out outside the Allianz after that win against Bayern Munich.

15.) 06 Mar 2023 12:14:34
My favourite red of the last number of years. I'll miss seeing him make the team tick, but I know it's the best for him and the team that he moves on. At his age, he'll want to be playing more and it would be a disgrace to have such quality player on the bench so much.

A less demanding league will suit him well where he'll shine for the next 3 years.

YNWA Bobby!

Chelsea in talks with Benfica regarding Enzo, as much as he would be a great addition to our Squad, I think the release clause is out of budget and would be a huge amount to spend on a player in Jan.
Hopefully we are able to bring in a midfielder in Jan but it looks like we will have to wait until the summer.

Redpathreds

{Ed002's Note - What happened to the pre-contract that Liverpool had with him?}

1.) 30 Dec 2022 10:47:46
Ed we all know that was just rumours and people believing them, realistically we were never in with a chance at the price quoted.

2.) 30 Dec 2022 11:38:51
I think the pre- agreement was just click bait Ed like all the top 10 richest men in the world fighting each other to buy the club.

3.) 30 Dec 2022 12:11:42
Would you prefer to sign just Enzo or Moises and Cody this window? who has the higher ceiling?

4.) 30 Dec 2022 13:23:17
Everything said about Enzo was previously said about Jorginho and Kovacic and Saul, and in fairness anyone watching Saul say 2016-2018 wouldve wanted him in the team. Point is try not to overreact one way or another you never know how these things are going to go.

5.) 30 Dec 2022 14:20:46
Shame bout Enzo but let Chelsea have him. Wrong move for the lad I reckon. Chelsea don't seem to have any plan to who they sign. bought a lot of players and paid well over the odds for most. Great business for Benfica though.

6.) 30 Dec 2022 14:43:38
Caceido all day long for me spaceman.

7.) 30 Dec 2022 14:51:54
I think we probably signed him on a pre contract for 120 mill and then decided to release him back to Benfica on a free so they could sell him again to Chelsea.

Bloody FSG are throwing money around like it’s going out of fashion.

8.) 30 Dec 2022 15:18:33
Caicedo all day long. Fits the type of midfielder we’re short of.

As for Enzo, he is flavour of the month and Todd B is probably so ripped off his tits on Colombian marching power he’s decided that’s who he’s getting coke hell, high water or FFP.

9.) 30 Dec 2022 16:42:38
Must admit, I'm not sure what all the hype around Enzo Fernandez is. He's young, but very expensive and although I've only seen him in the world cup, there was nothing to get particularly excited about. Much rather Mac Allister from Argentina. Caicedo was also much more appealing, especially at half the price.

10.) 30 Dec 2022 17:16:16
Is it just me that doesn’t really understand why everyone thinks Moises Caicedo is so good? Don’t get me wrong he looks like a grafter and competent midfielder but £60-£70 mil? I think I would expect a much more rounded midfielder who is great at the defensive and offensive side of the game for that amount of money as opposed to just the former I. e Rodri. Oh well, if it turns out to be true I’ll support him and I trust Klopp.

11.) 30 Dec 2022 22:43:09
Rodri wasn’t the finished article when he joined City. He learnt his trade off of Fernandinho and Pep. He also cost a lot of money.

12.) 30 Dec 2022 23:20:12
Not sure what Rodri’s got to do with anything. Never been impressed by him. A thug. Cost 50 ish mil. Not 100.

13.) 31 Dec 2022 01:21:23
Subjective opinions on Rodri and mathematical awareness aside, I am still completely unaware as to why we would want caicedo….
Rather give the young Bajcetic (spelling) lad a chance.

{Ed001's Note - how is it related? Bajcetic is a centre-back who has been playing a defensive midfield role. Caicedo is a central midfielder, he doesn't play the same role in the team at all. Utterly unrelated they can both fit perfectly well in the same team.}

14.) 31 Dec 2022 05:40:33
Hi Ed001. I’m just asking about the sort of player Caicedo is because I haven't seen him play all that much nor even heard much about him other than we apparently want to buy him for a rumoured plus £60m? Whilst I know stats aren’t everything the only one he rates highly on this season is tackles made. Didn’t say he and Bajcetic couldn’t play together either and I’m aware of the young lads natural previous position, which by your own previous points isn’t the be all and end all I. e Trent being a midfielder than found himself at fullback due to the teams needs at the time he was breaking through - Bajcetic seems more than capable of playing at CM and CDM as TAA has been effective at RB. I’m just saying that I’m just asking about Caicedo’s merits and all anyone on here seems to want to do is disagree with any other subjective point made which kind of suggests to me that no-one really knows what’s so great about him, so I guess I’ll stop asking. Cheers anyway. Have a great new year.

{Ed001's Note - you never asked me that. He is very similar to Kante in his Leicester days, running round breaking up play and then giving it simply. Like Kante, he looks to be able to step up a level and clearly has the ability to do more on the ball. He is exactly what we need to replace Henderson in the long term imo.}

15.) 31 Dec 2022 06:05:58
Excellent thankyou. Well if that’s true let’s hope there’s some merit in the rumours then and he’s more like Kante then the last player we bought that was supposedly a Kante clone ?.

{Ed001's Note - I just hope he hasn't got any baggage either, like Bissouma and Keita both have. I would love a Kante clone.}

16.) 31 Dec 2022 10:15:16
Unfortunately Caicedo isn’t likely to happen as the purse has been closed. If that’s true we’re in for a very long and painful second half of the season. We’d better find our scoring boots as we’ll need to be scoring 3 or 4 every game to make up for our shortcomings in midfield and consequently, defence.

17.) 31 Dec 2022 10:17:02
Ed001 do you think we are still looking to bring a midfielder in mate despite what Klopp said yesterday about having to bring money in rather then spend?

{Ed001's Note - yes.}

Quality player but his price is out of budget. Will be a good addition good addition to any side and looks like he is going to Spurs.
