Let’s all take a breath and calm down. Yes it was not the best result, however we can not be greedy and win every game. We'll just have to settle for the champions league this season.

Oh my gosh. I blame Klopp. What was he thinking putting out a full strength side. Should have played the players he did against Everton, at least they scored.

Question for ed002 if you're about mate,
With Bayern looking to appoint 72 yr old Jupp Heynkes, do you see this as a stop gap while they wait for Klopp, or is it more of a quick fix for them?

A question for ed001 if you're about mate.
Would you replace Coutinho, when he goes, with Woodburn?
I personally would as he looks good on the ball and can beat a man. He seems to have good vision also for someone so young. Woodburn for me just now lacks game experience which will further enhance his development.
I am a firm believer of if you're good enough you're old enough.
{Ed001's Note - I am not convinced he is ready yet, but the only way to find out is to try him. I would give him a chance in pre-season to see. As we have plenty of options to play behind a forward, it is not an immediate issue, so we can take a chance.}

It would be too big a pressure on the young shoulders. Woodie is the best player since Sterling to come out from academy. He is destined for greatness. But he is not ready to fill the shoes yet!

I disagree with Ed01. We don't have too many players to play in phils role! I saw that against Leicester when he was subbed off! We forgot to play football!

The scary thing is this kid is 17 years old and he is this good. Who knows how good he could be a year from now never mind in a few years. To be playing for his country and contributing at that age is some achievement.

Woodburn defiantly suits a deeper role where he can get on the ball, doesn't have the lightning pace to play up top for me but his close control and eye for a pass are very promising.

Similarities between us and UTD here. I remember when Kenny resigned, he realised he had an ageing team that needed too much work doing to it, also Hillsborough didn’t help him or any of us.
My point is after an extremely successful spell of winning we lost a great manager and spent years in limbo trying to realise those great feats again. Many managers tried but failed and we still aren’t there yet.
Fergie left an ageing ordinary UTD side and they seem to be going the same way we did, many managers trying but failing.

Some fans need to grow up and stop being so spoilt. We lost because Chelsea scored more goals, end of.
If we had taken our chances then it would have been a different story, but we didn’t. Stop crying about it and move on.
