Hi Ed, do Liverpool hold any interest in Jesper Lindstrom from Frankfurt?

{Ed002's Note - Jesper Lindstrom (AM/LW/RW) Eintracht Frankfurt have said that they are aware of scouts from many sides have watched the player this season but none have declared an interest and he won't be moving in January.}

Ed, is Nkunku an option the club are actually looking at as a Mane replacement or is he just another rumoured target that comes and goes every summer?

Hi Ed, is there any truth to the Danjuma rumours?

{Ed002's Note - Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld (LW/F) right footed left winger - was watched by Liverpool in 2019 and 2020 and there were discussions with Lille, Leicester, Southampton, Wolves, West Ham and Wolfsburg. He moved to four months ago so it is most unlikely he will be moving any time soon. Liverpool have Mane and Jota in a similar position already.}

Why can't we sign these players before they move on and get a hefty commission on top of there original fee? The likes of Harvey Barnes, jarod bowen, danjuma, benrahma, to name a few .

Those guys go to West ham etc and are starters, and then they develop cos they play.

Harvey Barnes came through the Leicester system, Bowen, Benrahma and Danjuma were all playing in the championship when they moved and it’s a big step up, how many players have made the jump from being a championship player to a success in a top Premier League club with a direct move? Hindsight says we should maybe have made the move (not sure about Benrahma) but all 3 also went for big money.

Had we have signed Barnes, Bowen or Danjuma there'd be people on here crying about a "Leicester youth player or 2 duds from championship teams. City, Chelsea or Utd don't buy dross like that". And so on.

Ed, is there much interest in Florian Neuhaus as a Wijnaldum replacement?

{Ed002's Note - Florian Neuhaus (CM) There remains significant interest in the Borussia Muenchengladbach player with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund seeing him as a player who will continue to improve. Real Madrid see him as an option in midfield and his representative has made no secret that there has been interest from elsewhere including Manchester City, Spurs, Juventus and the Milanese clubs, but Milan seems a less likely destination. Borussia Dortmund will push hard for him but they have growing money issues. I am not aware of any approach by Liverpool at this time but he does offer a solution if Wijnaldum were to leave - so certainly an option. BD interest will go ith Rose's commitment to not take players from BM.

Ed is Donyell Malen an attacking option we are looking at for the summer?

{Ed002's Note - Donyell Malen (S/F) Arsenal want to resign the player to replace Lacazette - but it seems very unlikely he would want to return and Arsenal may well turn their attention to Patson Daka. Borussia Dortmund have him on their list of potential Sancho replacements. Milan are also keen on the player but finances are in a rough state and it may prove difficult. Juventus see Malen as an option to Memphis Depay who they have probably lost out on. He would make a fine replacement for Roberto Firmino at Liverpool but I am not aware of any approach to PSV at this time and the club has not spoken to Mino Riaola about him at this time - but he has been watched.}

Talking of Sancho Ed - is he somebody that Liverpool may be in the market for or is he way too pricey?

{Ed002's Note - Jadon Sancho (RW/F) The amateurs at Old Trafford knew the situation yet still wasted everyone’s time last summer. Reputationally, another disaster for them left the club looking at other options and not resolving the matter. His agent (and I use that in the very loosest of terms) has some extreme demands and has been trying, for the past year, to persuade Chelsea and Real Madrid to meet them. With Salah getting older there will be a push to look to Sancho as a replacement – but the cost of agent fees on top of the transfer fee may put the club off - else, I would not be surprised to see Liverpool looking to strike a deal for Sancho this summer but the on top fees are potentially huge, even if the transfer fee has dropped.}

I didn't know we where fielding 2 teams in the prem this season the amount of players we are "interested" in is just laughable shows you how cheap journalism has become do I support Liverpool A or Liverpool B this season.

Do you think there’s any possibility that Klopp doesn’t buy a Mane replacement (assuming he goes) and relies solely on Gordon, Musialowski and Elliott instead? Not that i’d do it but we’ve seen him thrust young players like Gomez, Jones and Trent into the limelight straight away if he thinks they’re good enough.

Also hope you’re feeling better soon Ed001 and enjoyed our demolition of the mancs, even if you weren’t able to watch it live.

Herbie Kane is not good enough for the first team in my opinion. I know he was rated by Stevie but he has turned into a championship player. (in my opinion)
