Oh give it a rest. This didn't happen overnight, and he doesn't decide these things. He wasn't agreeing a new contract, he wanted a move, he didn't need to move on liverpools best interests. It's part of the game, not like any transfer fee would of been put in your pocket.

You’re correct, but a transfer fee would have gone a long way to find a replacement or buy players we need. Grealish left his boyhood club for 100m, Kane left his boyhood club for 100m. Trent ran his contract down on purpose and leaves his boyhood club for free.

Have you ever thought that Madrid signed TAA because he was on a free? RM or TAA doesn't owe Liverpool, or anyone, £100m when he has fulfilled his contract.

You mean the 20m nonsense RM put out? Which transfer would that have funded cos clearly, that is not stopping us from getting the players we are getting now, is it?

Pls, give it a rest. We were never going to sell Trent whether it was under Klopp 2 years ago under Klopp, last summer with a new manager coming in hence bad optics or in Jan for that wretched excuse of an affer from RM as again, that would make no sense.
