Ed's any idea who is favoured by LFC over Cunha, since it looks like he'll be going to Manutd?

Most of the reports are originating from Romano. Tbh, Romano is quite a smart journalist. He seemingly provides blow by blow updates to transfers without providing any new information. To me, he just uses a rhe.

Sorry, pressed send too early. Wanted to say that he uses a thesaurus to repeat the same thing in multiple ways, using words like "leading the race", "in prime position", and "final stages". And if the transfer happens, he pats himself on the back for providing everyone with updates every hour.

But if it doesn't happen, he sensationalises it by saying that other clubs "swooped in" or "hijacked" the deal. He is extremely good at drumming up interests in transfers even if things are not happening.

My guess is that Utd approached Cunha or Wolves, asking if he'd be interested in a move to them and he said maybe but he's keeping his options open for now.

Do you know if we were interested in him? I've seen him being mentioned as one of the striker option for us a long time ago. But not recently. Now its either one of Isak or if we can't afford him, its Ekitike based on reporter.

There's no way he's going to United mate, not a chance. Both he and Isak are going to have no shortage of strong offers this summer. For them, it’ll come down to who makes the first serious move and which club shows the most genuine intent to bring them in.

Cunha has had a pretty good last 2 seasons in the Premier League 14 (so far) and 12 goals but the 2 seasons before that were underwhelming 2 goals in PL and 6 in La Liga.

Please not Ekitike. This lad is nowhere near ready for the PL. Leave him be, watch him develop in the German league and see where he is in a couple of years. Moving now would ruin his career and not give us the player we need.

I really like Cunha and think he would be a great signing. However, his discipline is bit of a red flag. Many will say its only a couple of red cards spread throughout a season but one red card can be the difference between winning and losing a title. that's the bar we have set. Also we must have the most harmonious group of players. Would hate to see that in any way upset.
