I'm slightly disappointed in you Salah. I thought you of all people would be able to understand where the other posters are coming from. It's nothing to do with freedom of speech but rather to be aware of how certain topics are sensitive to other fanbases. I don't think Zed meant anything malicious by his initial post but your post is quite tactless. We don't want rival fans to making references to disasters that happened in our club's history so we shouldn't do the same to theirs either.

I know, WDW, and it is refreshing to see Liverpool fans tackle this. If someone started the Munich chant on The Kop I would hope they would be told to shut up. Wind up chants do have a place but tragedy, racist and homophobic etc chants don't. Rivalry is one thing but we are all football fans and they don't do us any good.

Salah, are you offended by the posts about Zed's post? A mistake was pointed out, that's all.

There is no treading on eggshells, Salah. Zed made an inappropriate comment and some fellow Reds thought that it could be removed for his own sake and for the sake of Liverpool and football fans in general.
What's wrong in admitting that a mistake was made and removing it? Out of interest, why did you bother posting about the replies and why would you bother if Zed's post was removed?
