Ed001, been a lot of talk on here and social media about forwards we could look at. Seeing names like Gyokeres but I don’t see any chance we pay that type of money that sporting would want. Isak is another player I am a big fan of but like Jota, he spends too much time injured. What do you think of Cunha at wolves? Every time I’ve watched him in the past 18 months or so, he’s looked a real handful and I don’t think he would cost as much as some of the other options out there.

I think it's a firmino type player we need up top. Before slot came I'm it was said he played with an out and out striker but that not the case with lfc, our striker has dropped quite deep a lot of the time. Unfortunately nunez nor jota not the best at that. Cunha always looks lively when I seen him play alrite, but does he not play off wing more so?

Digger10, that is one of the thing that start to give me more confidence on Slot. That he could be one the greats, on how he managed to adapt with the players at his disposal, instead of insisting on the same approaches he used to before Liverpool.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I saw few Amorim's lineups for United. The first game until recent, he seem to used 3 at the back, which was his fav when at Lisbon, but I don't think the current players at United fit that way.

@Hessle, and this is a serious question out of genuine interest. In what way is Hughes ‘scarily out of his depth’? We’ve played 21 games since he joined, won 18, drawn 2 and lost 1. What has he actually done, or not done that you think he should have done since he joined?

Hughes is the new Pep Lijnders. We need someone to blame even though we are top of both leagues.
The transfer window is closed so what do fans want Hughes to do?

Well we definitely needed a midfielder WDW, that’s for sure. I’m not sure highlighting Slots success since he’s been here has anything to do with Hughes.

Irish agree mate. On paper it shows we have quite a few midfielders but as the season is progressing it appears Slot isn’t keen on using Endo and Morton and all Elliot’s minutes have so far come on the wing.

So that’s 3 from the list.

Fair enough, mate.
I'm often accused of continuing discussions for too long rather than shutting people down but I respect your opinion.
Some posters might be prepared to explain how Hughes messed up and how Lijnders was a disaster though. But, again, it's down to personal choice whether they want to or not.
