City have managed a massive GD swing in their last four matches.

We had a comfortable margin at one point but they've won their last four matches 5-0, 5-1, 3-0 and 4-0.

We need to rebalance it, otherwise it effectively means we need City to drop points in two of their last three matches, rather than just one defeat.

Yeah they have and we need to bring that back a bit. I don’t think we or city will get much of a cricket score against Wolves . Villa concern me as they are a team that can ship 4 goals at any moment but be both play them . I think the key to our goal difference and with all due respect to Southampton of course but that’s the game I feel we can get that goal difference back . They have had 2 9-0’s past two seasons and a 6-0 from Chelsea this season . If we score early then they are known to collapse I think that’s the key . I don’t see city putting 4 against West Ham so we could still balance that out . I know that’s just me pondering though as anything can happen.

Its amazing to think that we could potentially have lost 3 games over 2 seasons and not won the title in either year.

Shows that we really have to beat Citeh in our 2 games we play against them.

I would avoid trying to go into a goal difference shootout with them. It becomes distracting and desperate. Even on Saturday I think we tried to hard to force it and lost a bit of composure.

Focus on getting 3 points against Villa and ignore the rest of the noise.

It’s the draws that could ( once again ) ultimately cost us. As it stands, city have lost one more game than us but will probably still win the league.

Here is a hypothetical question if both city and ourselves finish on level points games won games drawn and games lost goals scored and goals conceded and let's say same amount of yellow cards and red cards would it be a one off play off game and if so a take it at a neutral venue.

Rabh, in that case, although extremely unlikely, the title would be shared.

Won't come down to goal difference.

Goal difference isn’t going to matter.

I said it'll be west ham that could possibly take points off city. we really needed the 3 points against spurs and the city match. As I think west ham could only muster a draw at best. We've drawn a few games again which we should of won. Still been a bloody good season for us. We win the fa cup and champs league also we should be well happy.

City have just signed Haaland. So that’s +30 GD already.

The GD is a false argument. Secure the 3 points first. That should be the mandate. BR chased the GD in 13/ 14 instead of taking the 3 nil win for the abject disaster that would become. Why would anyone want to do that again? Baffling stuff.
