Deal for Fabio Carvalho is agreed and we have an hour to sort the contract medical and get it submitted.

Fabrizio Romano has given it the 'here we go' so I think it's just matter of time constraints now. Over the moon with this signing and I'd be gutted if we couldn't complete the formalities. Sometimes when you see a player you just know, especially if it's a young lad that Liverpool have put all this effort into acquiring. You can't play as well as he has in the championship as a teenager without serious amounts of talent. Bit annoying we can't utilise him til the summer but an extra few months of first team football will hardly do him any harm. I have a feeling that, like Elliott and Gomez, this will be looked back upon as an absolute steal (fingers crossed) .

Most journalists reporting paperwork wasn’t with the EFL before the deadline and they don’t do deal sheets. Is that not the case then Ed?
