I do believe there's been a premier League shift in the last 4-5 years which is teams who won the premier League as a rule would go for draws on the football equals which would earn you 85-90 points. since the introduction of Klopp and Guardiola they both seem to try for wins and earning in excess 97 points. Tuchel went for a draw with us and City and for this reason I don't think they'll win the prem, I also personally think he'll p. of most people at Chelsea.

Don’t agree. Sorry. Tuchel and his level will not set out to draw. They may adjust line ups and tactics, but it’s to win. If any argument is there it could be respect. Did he show too much by not playing his game and trying too hard to out think his rival? But honestly if a manager at this level starts a game or sets out a plan to hope for a draw? Ridiculous. I’m obviously not including teams like a Burnley or Norwich who may not expect to beat a top four side. Even then I doubt either of their managers set out to draw. In fact I doubt they or their players train all week to hope for a draw. At some point in the game if it’s not going as planned or the underdog achieves the lead, then yes adjust to keep the point (s) or salvage. But to plan. Nah not for me.

Grobs, Tuchel plays negative football and has been doing that way before he got to Chelsea. Since he arrived at Chelsea, they play with up to 7 defensive players regardless of where they play home or away. If Allardyce, Jose and Pulis play that way we would have said they were playing for a draw as that would be their plan at least at the start. Why is that different with Tuchel, exactly when that is what he has been doing at PSG and now at Chelsea? I don't get it.

Difference is that Chelsea are towards the top of the League. Its boring football but effective and gets results clearly.

Even the teams you mention don't set out just to draw a match. They may have to set up tactics for a smash and grab kind of game but with something like that you have to stay in the game for as long as you can and wait for the opportunity to arrive. You can't win a game in the first 5 minutes but you can lose it.

Chelsea have the funds to buy the quality of striker that Tuchel thinks they need to get the goals that will scrape them 3 points. Make sure the defence is nigh on impregnable and hope the attacking midfielders and forward do their bit.
Effective with the right players, but I wouldn't be paying a fortune to stand and watch that for 90 minutes.

There’s nothing wrong with giving others credit. Chelsea for me are nowhere near as exciting to watch as we are but they aren’t exactly a park the bus and try and pinch a goal kind of team. In their opening 6 fixtures they have scored the same amount of league goals as the free scoring Man City and are only 3 goals behind us. They are currently averaging 2 goals a game. The big difference I would say between us and them is when they play City and maybe us they are far more conservative. But when we play them or City we do not change the way we play every team. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn’t. Hence why we have given City sone thumpings over the last few seasons but they have also returned that favour on more than 1 occasion.

There’s nothing wrong with giving a little praise or appreciation to others. It doesn’t make us less of supporters.

I wouldn’t have said Chelsea were playing for a draw against Liverpool until James was sent off. Which of course changed the dynamics and set up to hold on to the point.

Exactly Fuser, Chelsea didn’t play for a draw in the first half. In the second half we could very much be accused of playing for a draw.
