Everyone needs to calm down a small bit . It was our first game of the season again tough opposition .
Granted defensively we were not up to our usual standard . Van dijk needs to get back to the levels he was at the start of last season as he seems to have become far too complacent on the ball.
The front 3 and especially Salah looked lethal . Bobby's confidence is low but let's get behind him and not forget what a special player he is and how important he is for our team.
I was particularly impressed with Jones when he came on . Have us a different dimension and is always available to receive the ball . I think this could be a massive year for him and by the end of the season he will be nailed on in the starting 11.

Other than city. I don't see another team coming ti anfield and playing like that. Proper football match and even though we should of been more comfortable Im glad we got the win. Hopefully that's virgils one bad game this season.

I think Virgil has slowly but surely being dropping his levels since after lockdown . Hopefully that mistake is the wake up call he needs to get back to his best .
He is still a elite defender but has maybe left his ego get the better of him of late.
