Hi eds, if we were to make a big signing who is the most likeliest, as from your comments we are not in for sancho, havertz or werner, I believe one of the front 3 will be sold in 2021 and this summer will be the best time to get somebody in to give them time to adjust, also due to Dembélés injury problems do you think our interest has gone after the initial enquiry.

{Ed002's Note - There is no way for me to be able to predict the timing of a transfers. There is no agreement with any of these players which many supporters are convinced there is. Right now Sancho is available to move this summer but Liverpool has not made any approach to Dortmund and unless there is a significant change in the overall cost of any deal and Salah were to leave then it would not be possible. I have explained that there is interest in Werner from several sides and clearly he is a player Klopp likes - but I am not aware of any approach by Liverpool to Bayer Leverkusen at this time. Kai Havertz is a player that has attracted a lot of attention but the asking price is very high - there is a great deal of interest in him from elsewhere, but he might be the most likely of these three to join Liverpool. There is nothing new with Dembele.}

question for the edds, don't you think the bundesliga defending is some of the worst you have ever seen?, the problem i have with werner sancho and havertz is that when i see the bundesliga games the defending is absolutely atrocious. its not really the fact that they have no ability its also the lack of effort. jadon sancho constantly has the freedom of the left side of the entire pitch in the premier league that simply wouldn't happen. Their is far less space and i think all three of them players are vastly overrated because of the lack of effort the defenders in that league put in. i would stay away from Sancho all he does is run down the wing and square it five yards for another player to tap it in a open net you can't do that against most of the prem teams who park the bus against us.

{Ed001's Note - I do agree the defending is terrible. I saw one goal Sancho scored yesterday and the defender just ran straight past and fell over. It was like a Charlie Chaplin movie. However that doesn't mean they are not good players. They stand out as the best there for a reason. They would just need to adapt to having less space.}

Thanks for the reply. the goal sancho scored looked fixed he had allreayd slid by the time sancho got their. I fail to believe its lack of quality they just don't track back and can't be arsed to defend its bizzare. Ah yeah i suppose they would just adapt but i would still stay clear of sancho, be interesting to see how he does in champions league when he comes up against a team that actually track runners and don't stand still and fall over.

{Ed001's Note - that will be how we will judge them, in Europe.}

Well Sancho has been terrible tonight, had the biggest chance to play Haarland or hazard in and spooned a shot which was never going to go in. Does not seem to make right decision in front of a half decent defence, needs to go to another league and stop playing crap defenders every week.
