Just watched that Inside Anfield short film on YouTube. I’m quite amazed the teams on arrive an hour and ten before the game and do 30 mins warm up. I assume they would do briefing elsewhere beforehand, but it doesn’t seem long, our local team turn up an hour before.

Do they do other warm ups at melwood or something, again I assume they will meet early for food and tactics like I mentioned.

They stay at a hotel in town the night before and presumably have their briefings in one of the meeting rooms there, then it’s the bus straight to the ground as far as I know.

You can warm up too much. THe sports science nerds will have got the pre-game prep down to an art by now.

Yeah I’m sure you can, but I’d still expect more than half an hour with getting warm stretching and ball work.

It seems to be working for them, I'd trust the scientists on this one.
