Hi,
My father in law is a German, Dortmund fan. He has his 65th this year and wants me to take him to Anfield. which I am happy to do.

Is there a site that you guys can recommend to buy tickets and not get burned? Due to the timing, it will be the Spurs game in late October.

Any help appreciated.

Mikey it is going to cost £750 to £1000 for a pair of tickets v Spurs. It's not right but am afraid that is the way it is. Me and son are both members but never get a sniff. I was getting them from a player but sadly no longer.

Yes mate the Burnley tickets were nearly that price for 2. It is the one problem of being a Liverpool fan we have by far the most expensive tickets. All other clubs tickets are available but not at LFC. You can walk into Utd or City for face value.

I am still trying all options but it is very very difficult.

Easier option will be the FA or League cup.

There selling on stubhub and all them type sites for about £250 each I would not like to buy one from there at that price but that’s just sometimes the only way till the club somehow put an end to it.

I just checked as well but are the tickets even printed yet? I have bought before on a third party site and it did work out but there are many stories online of it falling through.

DO NOT BUY FROM CRAIGLIST most are scams.

my brother got 3 from one of them sites before and everything was ok. A couple from the US was sat next to me for the Barcelona game they got there's of stubhub did pay £750 a ticket but that game was worth it lol. I just don't like the thought that I try to buy tickets for every game and struggle to get tickets and there is people get them all the time just to put them on sites like that if you have 4 tickets for most games nearly don't need to work if you do. I was hopping to get tickets for the Newcastle game as am driving my daughter up for uni that weekend but refuse to pay of them sites. Or what the club charge for the hospitality.

If your daughter is at uni in Liverpool she can use her L postcode and get some at face value in the late sale. Your right there are quite a few people making a good living from selling LFC tickets.

I might be able to get you a couple but they’ll be no where near face value.

I got a friend of mine a ticket ( someone I know ) for the last game of the season against wolves -£250

It could have been the best £250 he spent had we won the league.

If your going to pay that much, you may as well get 2 hospitality tickets, at least you’re going to get morenfor your money that way and genuine tickets.

I go the champions league games, but if someone wanted a domestic cup home game I'm pretty sure I could get you 2/ 3 of those if someone wanted go off here.

You can sometimes get lucky and get them through Airbnb if you book an apartment in Liverpool the day of a game. Got 2 tickets in the Kop for Wolves in December at a little over face value. Just ask them if they do tickets when you're booking.
