Adrian is clearly miles better. He had a 80% save rate on Wednesday not including penalties, saving 4 from 5 shots on target.

If Mignolet or Karius faced 5 shots on target from open play, they conceded at least 2 or 3.

Karius is not the worst keeper ever. He helped get us to the ucl final remember. He is over confident and his ability doesn't match that confidence. Better than migs by miles for me. And they love him in turkey.

I was surprised actually how well he played. Wasnt amazing but a great save for the penalty. I don't think he gave away a pen either.

Answer to the question, for me Karius. People forget he got us to the CL final, made mistakes then suddenly he didn't matter like he was nothing? Suddenly he was turd? Nah, he got disowned by fans who should've stood by him. No player can be 100% every game. I'm glad we replaced him don't get me wrong but the hassle he got after that final was wrong.

Always liked Adrian at west ham. probably seen more of him than we did karius. i was surprised when they got joe hart in to take over. i don't think there is much between adrian and fabianski, and he's better than what i saw of migs. maybe karius had more long term potential.

If you think Karius is the worst GK you've ever seen then that just shows how much football you actually watch. How many "worst GK's you have ever seen" help a team make it to a CL final? Or Save a penalty in a high pressure game vs Spurs to keep our top 4 dreams alive (yeah, people hate him so much they forgot that THAT actually happened)? Keep a clean sheet at home to high flying City in the CL Quarters (Again, that happened)?

If Migs was better then why did Klopp replace him with the "worst GK I have ever seen"? Migs was crap hence, he got binned and our defence improved with him (and VVD) in the team, fact. Now is he world class like Allison? No and I'm happy we have him cos he is clearly better BUT this idea that Karius was dog turd all along is baseless. He was not and in fact, I remember people saying Karius should be kept even when we were linked with Allison (cos he conceded 7 against us in the CL". How people's minds change so quickly.

Yeah, people saying Karius is worse have clearly forgotten 3 seasons of conceding from the first shot on target against us in nearly every match. Nice guy, Migs, but outside of his knack for penalties, he's an awful, awful shot stopper. I think he had about half a season just after we briefly dropped him for Jones where you could expect him to save a shot that wasn't straight at him.

They made obvious errors on more or less an equal frequency. Karius' were more overtly costly, but that's offset a bit by the fact that if you discount both their mistakes for the sake of a comparison, Karius is far better. Much braver off his line, better with his feet and can make saves than Migs can't. But outside of this hypothetical mistake free comparison, neither was good enough.

Karius' problem seems to be keeping his concentration. I gather at Besiktas he's been a mix of good saves and absolutely bizarre errors, which is kinda what he was like here. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a good keeper in his 30s as he matures and spends less time on Instagram. Too bad we can't wait that long.

For the moment, Adrian is probably better than both.

Adrian has only played one game for us and people are jumping at proclaiming him the GK Supreme. Karius was better than Migs for me. I have no doubts about it. He just fell apart one particular night, and we were all watching. And it's way too soon to say if Adrian is better than Karius. I'd reserve judgment at least until Adrian has played 10 games or so. Just seems odd to me that West Ham's second choice was not offered a contract good enough to keep him.
