Any one off to Istanbul?

This match is a distraction but I hope we win the thing. It'll spread even more confidence throughout the team and will be another trophy under Klopp's belt, all be it not a major one in the slightest. We have to keep up this winning mentality just as we did in Europe last season.

Off course I hope we win the thing. These trophies are strange. You could see the City players were happy to win the Community Shield, not ecstatic but happy enough. If we go all the way over there then you should go all out to win. I agree Drogie, not a major trophy but winning can be addictive.

I highly doubt Klopp will be going with the same team we saw vs Norwich.

Probably will start with Lovren and Matip at CB, Lallana, Keita and Shaq or Ox in midfield. Expect Mane to start to gain some match fitness with Origi and Brewster up top. Perhaps Hoever and Larouci as the fullbacks.

Not a bad team at all and more than capable of beating Chelsea.

{Ed0333's Note - if the rumours are correct about lovren leaving I doubt he’ll be in the team.

Spot on, Ed. If Lovs did not even make the bench last Fri. why would he start tmrw with a move on the cards. It's called protecting your asset.

We have to go for the win cos for a young team like ours, we have to make winning trophies like this (not arsed about the CS) a habit as that can only help their confidence and self belief.

I’d like to see us field a full strength side. It may not feel like a big trophy to some but never the less it’s a trophy.

For sure Ed0333. Lovren is of interest. Does not mean Klopp will not select him to play. Does Klopp want to sell him?

Lovren may not be a starter anymore but he is still part of the squad, albeit 4th choice.

Yes we signed Van Den Berg, he is still a kid though and very much a player who still needs to learn his trade. While Lovren is still at the club he will be 4th choice.

{Ed0333's Note - I don’t know if Klopp wants him gone but for the sake of his career I’m not sure Klopp will stand in his way. There’s plenty of media speculation that Lovren has played his last game for LFC
