I said months ago the Alison deal ate into this years budget like what arsenal are doing with Pepe, we aren’t skint, far from it but transfer budget wise we’re looking around 20-30 million plus player sales and that’s just facts. We have to be sustainable like Klopp said we aren’t city.

Where did Klopp say Gomez is 4th choice or is backup to Matip? Clearly, Klopp is trying diff. combos. in preseason cos well Shocker, it's preseason and that is where you try things. If you miraculously managed to read preseason into what will happen in the real season then, I really fear for you.

@Navy Keith, Yes sell to buy club, we sell one top player for big money and that pays for the new players to come in, no top player leaving means no top players coming in. That's my definition of a sell to buy club, not sure what you'd call that transfer policy, oh I know fiscally prudent, I'd imagine, so as to put a positive spin on the club.
