Just to add,

Fabinho and Gomes can play at RB. Obviously will hinder us attacking wise but ample backup.

Then there is Milner, our go to guy. At left or right back he can do the job required from Klopp.

We have one of the most versatile squads around. Even Hendo can fill in at RB.

That is what I like about Klopp. He expects his team to play as a team. Not as individuals.

Then you look at Pep trying to install his players like software and then programming them like robots. No wonder the likes of Sane want to leave.

Sane will leave if he is he is not going to be first pick, that is for sure.

City are a great side, so are we. I said it at the start of last season, we're in the top 4 sides in Europe.
Us, City, Barcelona and Juve. i don't think anyone would dispute it.

Barca are terrible, they're just made to look good by a league which is afraid to tackle them. Disorganised and selfish throughout most of the team and there's honestly none of their players I would have at Liverpool.

Not even the 'great' Messi who while being talented absolutely fails unless the whole team does the hard work for him and let's him saunter around punching the ball in the net and diving for free kicks.

I don't get how people can't acknowledge that pep is an excellent coach. I know that he has spent a lot at every club he has managed, however you still need to buy the right players etc. He has won just about everything there is to win at 3 different clubs and you can't argue that he hasn't built an amazing squad at city.

Klipperty, i think the debate about whether or not Pep is an excellent coach is based on the fact that at Barca, Bayern, and City he has taken over a successful project and been given near unlimited funds to maintain that success. Similar to Mourinho.
Tactically, Pep often seems to get it right so he's no lemon but, in a parallel universe, id love to watch Guardiola and Jose in charge of a couple of second division teams with low budgets and see if their famed coaching abilities could get promotion.

{Ed001's Note - it is more that every team he has taken over has got gradually worse under him after his first couple of years. He left after that because he said the players were no longer responding to his methods. He took over a Bayern side that was the best in Europe but turned into an average side in Europe.}

I dunno, the big one is the big one. If we won the league this coming season but not the ucl (id be surprised if we made the final again. We're good enough but 3 finals in a row? ) then the following season it would be the European cup we really wanted.

Despite what some say, utd's title tally hurts us. That is why the league is so important. The European cup is the biggest club trophy though. Tonnes of European clubs win the league every season, only one wins the ucl. Games against arsenal and chelsea seem like small ties compared to bayern and Barcelona in europe.

Ed025 is right, don't get me wrong extremely happy we won the UCL for the 6th time but I would swap it in heartbeat for the premier league last year as I'm sure City would want the UCL.
