Hi all, just a bit of banter.

We live in Japan, so I woke up this morning to the news we had our first signing. Sat at the breakfast table with the wife and kid. Informed them that we had made our first signing, Fabinho. Quick as a flash my youngest comes back with, "Is he a keeper? "

I stand behind our players but couldn't help a giggle at that!

I don't think we will sign a keeper. Or if we do I believe Karius will keep his place. Controvesial view I know.

We will sign a keeper and Karius won’t keep his place. Not controversial view, I know.

Lol, I dunno, if he drops Karius for good then klopp has to say it was a mistake to sign him. I also think klopp might decide to stick with him after the rough time he's had. And I also think he is a good keeper. Those mistakes were psychological. And loris now has a type of experience that you can't buy. I think we may sign a keeper but if its butland I think Karius will get the no1, navas too. Loris never recovered from the first mistake. He won't do that again.

Prince Hendo, I agree with your post except one point. If Klopp drops Karius, it does not mean it was a mistake to sign him. It does not work that way, IMO. Karius has improved since coming in and during that time, he must have been convinced that he was looking like the right man for the job. Then Sat happened. His errors does not remove from the fact that Karius has improved us since he came in so if Klopp sells him, it would only mean that he thinks he can't bounce back from this and to protect him, he has to go. That does not mean he made a mistake signing him. It only means circumstances have changed hence, other parameters have to be considered. It is not and either/ or situation, IMO.
