When we were Linked with him i watched him a lot and he looks ok in a back 5 in Portugal. He's not a good fit for us imo. A slower taller less agressive version of Martinez who is bang average despite scoring at Anfield.

The more I see of Connor I’m really hopeful he’ll make it, so brilliant as Trent is with his passing if we lost one of three I don’t think that would derail us completely next season we’d just have to adjust tactically. Question more with Connor right now is could he last a season without injury. VVD would be first for me to get signed, and then Mo.

Don’t care about top 4 next year tbf if we win the league this year. Who wants to be like Arsenal and just play for top 4 like under Wenger. If we don’t win the league this year we will not win next year even if Virg and Mo stay- they aren’t going to get any better so this is defs our best chance.
