Those doubting the arrival of Jude Bellingham in the summer of this year are going to have wasted a lot of keyboard warrior energy bashing out negative comments.
Jude is coming, as are others.

Yeah, I’m sure Bellingham would choose Europa Conference with our pensioners and for our skinflint owners over playing champions league football alongside Tchouameni, Valverde and Camavinga at Madrid or with his mate Haaland at City, in both cases at clubs where he’ll have a chance of actually winning titles. Plus where’s the money coming from for this? FSG can’t find money for a decent midfielder this month when we desperately need one, how are they paying for this with a budget of £40-£50m plus sales? who we selling? Alisson? TAA? Salah? Konate? Nunez?

If there is a genuine and legitimate opportunity for us to sign Bellingham than I for one am more than happy to wait until the summer than blow vital funds on average players, no guarantees that we will get him but isint it better aim for elite players than shopping in the basement bin and settling for the likes of Tielemans or Amrabat! Neither our owners or managers are fools, they want success just as much if not more than us so they are not going to waste there time on pipe dreams like Bellingham if we are not in with a shout…big deals take time but the benefits can be massive just look at our pursuit of Virgil, god knows how the last 5 years would have panned out had we opted for an immediate fix and not looked at the long game!

Ed025, If you were him and Real Madrid and Liverpool both approached you to sign for them in their current states, ie either playing alongside the likes of Tchouameni / Camavinga/ Valverde with an actual project and with genuine chances of winning titles every year and earning more (due to the very generous tax rates in Spain), or playing in a team in seemingly terminal decline with no direction alongside our decrepit midfield line up with limited chances of success much beyond the odd cup run and even less chances of competing in the champions league, be honest, who would you sign for?

There’s no way anyone can say with a straight face that he’d want to waste his career playing alongside a bunch of 30 somethings on their way out.

As it is. it’s going to take a lot of money to sort out our midfield, which is far beyond what FSG want to spend.

It is also a preposterous notion that there’s the funds available for it to even happen if we’re not in the champions league (which we don’t look like we’ll qualify for at the rate we’re going) . Nunes will be the signing but it won’t be alongside Bellingham it will be instead. With FSG saying their usual guff about “well, we tried”.

Let’s be honest, FSG wouldn’t open the coffers fully when we won it or when we won the league, so old Scrooge W Henry certainly isn’t going to do it if we’re in the conference league or worse.

The only way he’s signing is if FSG are completely bought out. No other way.

Jude and his family see the benefit of working with one of the greatest managers and coaching teams around. He is 19, and so 4/ 5 years with us under Jurgen is a perfect step for the rest of his career, wherever that may be.
This league is demanding, players are figuring out that their bodies and therefore bank balances could be best served by moving to slower, less physical leagues. Jude is ready for the hustle .

Honestly, for the amount of money Jude is going to cost, find me 2 Bruno Guimarães like players, think they will fit much better with what Klopp does than Jude might, and there still might be money left over.
