Ed's what's your thoughts on Sarr/ Traore, you mentioned previously we were looking at both although Sarr seems an odd pick with his AFCON commitments and Traore probably very expensive. Are we looking at anyone else for those positions?

{Ed002's Note - I expect preference will be for Sarr if the money is available.

Omer Faruk Beyaz (AM/W) Not one for this summer but Liverpool (via a scout) have registered an interest with Fenerbahce - who say many scouts have watched and many more will come to watch him.}

Personally if the club get Sarr, they have one eye on the future with either Mane or Salah moving on in the next 15 months.

Just don’t rate traore one bit not a chance he’s worth 70m.

I make you correct Jay. He got 4 goals last season and 3 of them were vs Man City. He is only any good if the opposition are trying to hold a defensive line with 50 yards behind them. His delivery improved to be fair to him but he's a very limited player. He's no better than say, Dwight McNeil!

If we get Sarr, will we lose Sarr, Mane and Salah when AFCON happens? Don't think that will help us. Traore on the other hand will be available when AFCON is on. Many people don't rate Traore but don't forget he is not coached by klopp yet, so Klopp might unleash some hidden potential. Just trust in Klopp if it happens.

I would like us to consider the young RB forward that was a live wire against us in the match played a few weeks back, would prefer him over sar.
Patson daca the kid is called, very lively and direct.
Only valued at 18m by transfermkt.

I think most people didn't rate salah and mane to be honest. Klopp, brought through Rob l, and auba and a hell of a lot considering he was in a worse financial position before with dortmund. He is a top manager. If he does actually want them im all in.

I wouldn't be the most eager to want sarr or traore simply because I think those type of raw pacy wingers often flatter to deceive and their potential has a history of disappointing. They can enjoy a hot run of form and get over hyped yet looking invisible for huge chunks that we don't notice. The fact that sarr and traore were the 2 players who arguably enjoyed their best performance of their season last year against us saw them get more attention. Because of our high line they looked better against us than anyone else they played. Look at how Michel Antonio has also hurt us, zaha, bolasie and Redmond also getting huge praise when their raw and direct style was best suited against us and not the other teams Liverpool fans watch them play against for 90 mins every other week. I'd much rather see the likes of Rashica being approached for half the price, he's same age and has looked far more dangerous while playing in a struggling side. Sarr and saint maxim only enjoyed a handful of games at the end of last season where they looked lively but no care is given to the other 30 games where they were anonymous. Adama traore wasn't even in the starting line-up for 1/ 3rd of wolves game so surely his manager knows he can't be trusted with consistent petgornances. Salah and mane were far more proven and clinical dangerman so don't compare them as similar to guys who've had multiple seasons anonymous and only enjoyed 6 months of PL decent games tops. Raw and explosive players in our team facing a deep defence would not be as useful. Salah and mane have the close control and agility to work for us and never rely on pace alone. Traore for example could only look good against us when facing 1v1 and sprinting past on the outside against robbo. He never even tried to go inside him and cause real danger. How often do our opponents let their defence exposed to a 1v1 high line matchup,? They avoid that as priority so the threat of that style of winger is innecective. Ignore the fact they can only mange 5 or 6 goals or assists in their best season to date when their best success was supplying a final ball to a target man in the box and offered little other type of invention that would get the best out of our towards who don't want the ball that Jimenez, deeney, or joelinton are always waiting to get from wide. For that money there's far better quality.
