I see the Echo have just stated what we already thought that there won't be any signings this window.

And if they are right so what. The club can't make signings to say that they have made signings. Who would they sign, if players are not available or do not want to come we can't sign them. Who in this window would you realistically want. It's all right saying 'a creative midfielder ' for example but who? Its like going in to a car dealership and answering "one with wheels" when asked what you want. If the club buy players they will be players that they need not simply a player for the sake of it. It's over a week till that Scottish bloke gets all giddy on deadline day, just wait and see what happens.

What everyone is forgetting is that people have to leave before we can bring new ones in. Nothing to do with finances but squad space. We were supposed to have Mignolet, Lallana, Moreno, Clyne, Kent, Wilson, Sturridge and others ( I can only remember these few off the top of my head), and only Moreno and Sturridge left. And only slightly more than a week left for the window closing. We're traveling with a squad of 28 or 29 (including the kids but not including the front 3), so that gives you an idea of how much work has to be done to bring it down to 25 for the season. There's a clear bottleneck.

I think it’s going to be a long hard season. We where on the verge of ruling England and Europe for a spell and then we don’t build on our good squad, one or two first team additions would of been fantastic. I think we will be kicking ourselves come Christmas. I really hope I’m wrong and we win the prem. but my head says no.

I wonder if we spent a big portion of this years budget when we spent big last year. kind of like wat ed002 mentioned arsenal are doing this year.? im in two minds about not bringing in a player or 2 to strenthen. slightly nervous that we are standing still, but also think with players like Ox, Keita, Brewster, Wilson n even Hoever a potential RB option, that we are capable and maybe even better placed to have another big season. i guess only time will tell.

I not pool fan but have soft spot for your club. Starting see a little change in some fans bit of panic setting in, the vibe around your club as being so good and positive no not let it slip because no big name player coming in if right player was for taking i sure club would look to bring him in. Klopp looks to trust the team of players available to take team forward.

The vibe is right for yous to push on for league trust your manager backroom staff and players. I would really like see adam lallana ( sorry spelling ) have good season he quality if stays fit and klopp likes him a lot support every player who knows who could be your hero this season. Trust you club motto you never walk alone. Best of luck for season reds all over the world.
