Bringing Salah on to run around with zero quality pushed Wirtz to left wing meaning he disappeared from the game for about 30 minutes in the second half. Slot needs to decide the formation without Salah in it and stick to it for a few games. We can’t play 4-3-3 with Wirtz, Isak up top. It just isn’t working as they have no pace or intensity.

Isak is the best striker at the club and the best we have had since Torres / Suarez.
Yes Mo has scored tonnes, but he is not a striker as such he is a wide man that scores a lot.

Do you honestly think Slot would have been sacked if they scored that last min goal because it mite as well gone in the display was that bad. I thought it was one of the worst games from us this season and was amazed he was still in a job the next morning.

Thank you for this Ed01. Always look forward to the reviews, win, draw or lose. I don't look forward to watching the games anymore. I do as a habit but this is really poor.

It feels Slot has become a specialist in playing players out of position. Ekitike could play at the left, resting Gakpo for a bit (which he clearly doesn't like doing) ; I am not going to even mention Chiesa as the manager has an obvious dislike for the player. Constantly playing him out of position and when there is no attacking structure.

This will have to end one way or another. The strange thing is we can play with intensity under this manager like we did against Real but have since gone back to usual rubbish. The players will forget how to press in a few days.

ED001.summed up perfect, we are soooo slow, boring n predictable. I know the players are playing with pure caution in the minds after all these defeats but this football isn't getting any better . The fact Sunderland knew how to play us n had the confidence to take us on at Anfield shows you how far we have fallen this season , bet ya they knew they'd get something from th3 game .

I thought Slot was a good fit for us but sadly not.

Our first instinct in almost all on-ball work seems to be to stand on the ball and wait to be pressed before making a pass.

If the opposition doesn’t press the man, we stand there looking confused.

What has happened to Isak? I don't understand how a professional athlete could be that unfit at this stage of the season. Are we sure its not the the dire tactics making him a non entity in our games?
