From a mate, who's mate lives in Liverpool. ******'s neighbour drives for the club. he was woke last night to get Richard hughes to the airport, private jet to Germany, it's happening.
Old skool rumour. My mates, mates, Neighbour.
13
24 May 2025 15:56:00
Richard Hughes is doing my head in. He can’t be trusted to negotiate contracts and he can’t be trusted to drive himself the airport.
Why didn’t Ward drive him as he seems to be doing everything 🤣.
Great rumour though mate. What exactly is he doing to neighbours drives is my question 🤣.

Love it!

24 May 2025 16:05:03
Hato is also in the stands again tomorrow! apparently he likes the half time OXO that one of his buddies makes in the Netherlands.
4
24 May 2025 16:40:29
Hato is a future great, IMO. the dude looks like a fully grown man at 19, has captained his club many times, idolises VVD and plays two positions. Yes please.
8
24 May 2025 16:55:52
Hato would be a good signing for the future. But I hope it's not the CB signing of the summer.

24 May 2025 17:18:50
Love these old-school rumours!
1
24 May 2025 17:26:06
He's a chauffeur JK 🤣.
1
24 May 2025 17:42:05
No matter how many years go by, these kind of rumours will always Rule this site 🤣 excellent post,
And for the record I believe it as gospel truth mate.
7
24 May 2025 17:42:59
My issue with Hato is he is how often will he play? He plays on the same side as Van Dijk so he will barely get game time there and at left-back he would probably be competing with Kerkez and Robertson.
0
24 May 2025 17:53:44
Have a faith in Slot. If he has a plan for Hato, I am all in.
3
24 May 2025 18:10:30
Why not buy him now and loan him back until next summer? Win win in my book.
3
24 May 2025 18:22:45
Hato would rotate with Kerkez as the more defensive option, meaning both Robbo and Tsimi need to be sold now, rather than letting robbo run down his contract.
Hato can also rotate with VVD in the cup games and some european nights.
We need to preserve our rolls royces for the long term, i can see both Virgil and Mo going on and on, like chiellini did for juve and Ronaldo has done.
1
24 May 2025 18:32:03
Akira says that Murillo is the CB target for now.
1
24 May 2025 19:15:12
Sadly the writing is on the wall for Robbo, who by his past magnificent standards has had a very poor season, 31 March just gone, one premier league assist this season, no goals so far in the prem (excluding own goals) sent off at home to Fulham this year in the first half needlessly, two premier league assists last year.
He has a total of 56 premier league assists, and only three of those are in the last two years at 53 divided by his 6 stellar years previously equals circa 9 assists a season.
Time catches all of us up sadly Robbo is no different, can't think of any two left backs in Europe who will be better than Kerkez (21) and Hato (19) for years to come, you have to go with young players going forward whose best years are in front of them, and not behind them now sadly.
There will be a lot of fringe players saying "Goodbye for the last time Tomorrow" I would hope!
Hato to replace "Trubbishikas" (29) in the future squad is not even an argument, considering he could also play CB and rumour has it Defensive Midfield also, would love to know if it was Hato who wanted to come over and watch LFC or Gravy who offered the invite, perhaps it's Jorrel who want's to play for his boyhood love as a full back, does that ring any bells!

Retegui could be an option to Isak or Alvarez.
Ta.
13
24 May 2025 13:47:43
Interesting thanks for sharing.
4
24 May 2025 13:50:34
Seems a better option than the likes of Sesko and Ekitike, but still he has had a one good season in Italy. I hope we pull a move to Alvarez or Isak.
3
24 May 2025 13:57:09
Cheers, Carra. I've never seen him play but it looks like he's had a good season.
4
24 May 2025 14:22:56
Granted YouTube highlights. But just watched this guy and thought he was left footed with a strong right foot also. Then seen him take 2 penalties on his right foot! Very good finisher right, left and headed goals and looks physically strong! The comments from fans in Italy all can't believe his names not being mentioned alongside Osimhen, Isak etc.
2
24 May 2025 14:36:31
Looks very good on YT.
Matteo Retegui would be nice, good with both feet and nice eye for header. Most of them first time finishes.
1
24 May 2025 14:43:27
I know it isn't the best way to judge players but we seem unable to sign anyone from Italy who has held down a place in the first team. Players we have sold to Italian clubs on the other hand seem to do well.
Coutinio aside can anyone remember a great Liverpool player who came through Italy? There is definitely not been an Italian who has played consistently well when moving to us.
I don't know whether our style suits players from a league where defence comes first and two or three players are left to their devices to score the goals.
4
24 May 2025 15:10:07
Not the craziest shout this. I could see it.
1
24 May 2025 15:11:24
Fits with Hughes Italian connection.
1
24 May 2025 15:42:57
@mbwell I definitely agree that we haven’t had great be success with Italian players coming from Italy to the prem (and tbf other clubs haven’t had much luck either) but generally that’s because Italian players in Italian academies are brought up the Italian way which doesn’t directly translate well to the pace and physicality of English football. But players who came up in other countries generally fit much better - your example of Coutinho, obviously he was raised in Brazil, which is much better preparation than say, Chiesa’s Italian training.
What people often forget about Retegui is that even though he declared for Italy, he was actually born in Argentina, and came up through the Argentine league system - which generally translates very well with examples like Aguero, Alvarez, Macca, among others.
Retegui is a brilliant instinctive finisher with both feet, great in the air, a real fox in the box that could give us what we’ve missed with Jota’s decline. Would definitely be a really interesting alternative to big targets like Isak and Alvarez.
6
24 May 2025 15:46:55
Retegui would be a good Jota replacement but imho not a starting 11 forward for LFC. Series A is a good league but when McMarradonna, Lukaku, and Capt America are doing great that tells u something.
2
24 May 2025 15:58:04
Mbwell, I don’t know what your exact criteria is, but Alisson and Salah both came from Italy and are in the convo for our best XI of all time.
5
24 May 2025 16:42:39
He'd definitely be a no-frills option if the other options do not work out. A good all rounder.
1
24 May 2025 17:54:26
Salah came from Italian, just saying.
0
24 May 2025 19:32:53
To be honest, a clinical sounds like exactly the player we need. We already create a bucket load of chances every season that are crying out to be buried, and I can only see that increasing if we are fortunate enough to land Wirtz. Look at the chances that Nunez misses, he could easily have been a 20 goal+ striker with the service he’s had. A finisher with movement is what we need up top, in my opinion anyway.
1
24 May 2025 19:55:40
If we’re planning to use wirtz as a false nine, a proper striker is exactly what we need as an alternative or against low blocks. can't see us dropping szobo, and if Diaz stays, can't see us playing wirtz left wing, so I reckon he’s lined up for the false nine/ double ten with szobo. Will need something to mix this up if we need a goal though, and you’re not buying someone as expensive as isak, Etikite or Alvarez as an option.

Ed001 who is your guess on who the LFC player could be? Morton?
Bayer Leverkusen are keen to reach a swift agreement with Liverpool over Florian Wirtz.
There is discussion around a deal that would involve Liverpool paying a transfer fee and Leverkusen getting a player from #LFC.
Plettigoal.
2
{Ed001's Note - there are a few options, Quansah is another, but Morton would be good for us as we would not need to replace him.}
19
24 May 2025 11:33:04
Kelleher as well perhaps?
4
24 May 2025 12:10:43
Could Endo be an option?
3
24 May 2025 12:40:54
Has the player to be included in the deal come from us or Leverkusen? I am nervous about the deal, hope we manage to get it through.
3
24 May 2025 12:48:56
Everyone saying Elliott to leave so could it be him? Get him playing in his preferred position? Good enough I’m not sure but looking like we’ve been putting the feelers out for potential suitors. Dunno, im sure others will tell me how wrong I am but I’m here for it 👍.
3
24 May 2025 13:09:57
Give them all job done.
4
24 May 2025 13:24:26
From a very reliable source.
We’ve offered Leverkusen 110 million and Nunez.
Leverkusen have counter offered saying they’ll take 110 million.
19
24 May 2025 13:28:43
Leverkusen could be a very good move for Elliot if that's the case.
4
24 May 2025 13:54:10
My first thoughts were Elliot as well. Shame as I’d rather keep him.
3
24 May 2025 14:23:17
Its nunez.
2
24 May 2025 14:34:51
Doubtful Nunez would want that move in my opinion.
4
24 May 2025 14:46:42
Nunez seems to be heading for Atletico, no?
Players who are leaving, I think there is a long line of them, Kelleher, Nunez, Tsimikas, probably Elliot, Morton, Endo, anyone in exchange will do, as long as we get good value.
I think with Wirtz is, that is it for midfield. Either Morton, Bajcetic (if he is still an option) or Endo will be the back up. And probably a mix it up change of role for Szobo.
I am happey enough with that, but I hope Endo is the on who stays.
With Frimpong, and hopfully Kerkez in and now Wirtz, just another 2 more to go.
A no. 9 and a centre back.
3
24 May 2025 14:47:39
Hope we don’t p. them off by offering our failed striker.
3
24 May 2025 15:10:24
110+Nunez is like over the tops.
Personally feel Nunez will thrive in AM (thug) team.
4
24 May 2025 15:42:44
Samikewell you missed the punchline. Elliot seems ideal, he could really thrive playing the Wirtz role for them and with the World Cup coming up it could be win win for everyone concerned. You would expect it to be the most suitable price wise as well.
1
24 May 2025 15:48:50
Out of interest how do they go about the player involved in the deal, would the clubs just decide between themselves on the player or players then it's up to the player to decide or will they allow the other team to talk with the players they are interested in before agreeing the deal. I only really remember one club bidding for a player to end up being turned down by the player and I can't even remember who it was now. You wouldn't want to to include a player in this deal for them to say no which in my ignorant view on this I can't see nunes being willing to be the player involved. He seemed open to Saudi for the money or athletico Madrid.
0
24 May 2025 17:55:36
Love it JK.
1
24 May 2025 18:41:03
No the deal is done the player Leverkusen asked about is nunez. Nunez is not part of any deal.
0
24 May 2025 10:17:56
Bayern are apparently looking at Bruno Fernandez now as a Wirtz alternative.
6
24 May 2025 10:32:09
They’re welcome to him LOL
up the pool.
10
24 May 2025 11:03:41
Manutd Thought they were shopping in Harrods but ended up in Aldi.
7
24 May 2025 10:35:44
Someone needs to tell Bayern about Musiala.
9
24 May 2025 11:52:22
Not even Aldi more like Poundland for man united.
3
24 May 2025 12:28:22
I’ve read that some manc fans believe BF will fetch £120 million? Really?
5
24 May 2025 13:26:51
I’ve read Saudi for 100 mill.
He’d absolutely tear it up over there. He’s not my cup of tea but his year in year out stats are really impressive.
And as much as he seems unlikable on the pitch apparently off the pitch he’s brilliant with fans and Utd staff. Seen the other day he regularly meets up with a former old Trafford worker who lost their job to buy him lunch.
6
24 May 2025 14:12:48
A bit like Richarlison, absolutely despise the footballer, but he is a decent guy in real life.
3
24 May 2025 14:49:24
He is a thoroughbred ball bag of a man, complete tosser, and yes I met him once, but my first impressions were not good.
3
24 May 2025 15:13:09
I always felt we missed out on bringing Bruno in before United did. His output and availability was/ is incredible really.
Imagine what he would have been like under Klopp.
0
{Ed025's Note - still a horrible little turd i imagine FPF..
7
24 May 2025 15:35:08
Bruno Fernandez is a terrific player. Can’t stand his crying on the pitch, but he’s the only top player at United.
He also volunteered to cover the cost of the funerals for ex-players who’d fallen on hard times after the club stopped paying.
INEOS refused to let him (Maguire also offered) .
If he leaves they will have a massive player to replace.
1
24 May 2025 16:20:27
No matter what i think of Bruno on the pitch i've only heard great things about him off it. so i'm happy to reserve judgement until the day i bump in to him personally
definitely not worth the figures being bandied about for him though.
1
24 May 2025 16:40:05
I detest Fernandez and all his whinging and remonstrating on the pitch but he is a decent player and it’s crazy that he would even consider going to that joke of a league. I get why Utd would want him to go there but surely Fernandez has greater aspirations?
0
24 May 2025 17:12:40
Fernandez might be a rubbish on the pitch but dudes been putting up numbers in multiple car crash man united sides for years.
Put him in a prime klopp or Guardiola team and I'm pretty sure he'd be getting lampard/ Gerrard numbers.
0
24 May 2025 08:07:22
Looking positive on the potential new signings but a bit worried re Macca. I know Slot has said the reason he isn't playing is due to tiredness but would you really want to miss out on playing in the game tomorrow and lots of rumors Madrid want him to replace Modric. Really hope he stays though as love him as a player.
14
24 May 2025 08:51:34
Doubt it. Slot pretty much said yesterday that Szobo shouldn't be calling to be Number 8 as maccalaister plays there. Seriously made it sound like if Macca is going, he has no knowledge.
Real would have to pay through the roof to get him and that doesn't sound like Real. More likely they all try their usual dirty tactics to get him cheap at some point.
10
24 May 2025 08:54:11
Why would he want to leave? Madrid have won nothing this season and we are the champions of England. Also have you seen their midfield? There’s be too much competition. And if he did want to leave and Liverpool agree, it would be at a huge premium.
4
24 May 2025 09:14:39
Just can’t see it.
2
24 May 2025 09:57:26
If Madrid do want him then for once they better get their cheque book ready
Up the pool.
4
24 May 2025 10:06:20
Macca is very much under contract and Liverpool under no obligation or desire to sell.
If Madrid want him, take Maccas valuation, add on Trent's and you have got yourself a starting point for selling negotiations.
9
24 May 2025 10:14:42
There's no way he leaves, imo. One of our most important players both on the pitch and in the dressing room - a born winner.
6
24 May 2025 10:24:26
Ed2's old post mention that there was a possibility that Alexis would goto Real anytime from now onwards, and alexis has stated that he would like to play in Spain one day.
150M if so.
5
24 May 2025 10:49:06
A conspiracy theorist would say that the Macca fee from Real would go towards the Wirtz fee. ala Coutinho with the VVD and Becker transfers :)
2
24 May 2025 11:25:44
As Navy said, not happening. He was one of our top players this season and has said coming to LFC was the best move of his career. People trying to stir up trouble where there is none.
2
24 May 2025 11:26:22
I’d take 100 mill plus for mac personally. Great player but not irreplaceable imo - especially given we play him as an 8 rather than a 10.
3
24 May 2025 11:42:58
He’ll have a price, it might be higher for Madrid.
5
24 May 2025 11:44:38
Players who have won the World Cup and EPL trophy are pretty rare Brummy mate.
5
24 May 2025 12:34:04
His contract runs until 2028 according to TransferMarkt. If RM come calling I’d start at £300m - £100m for each of the years left - I reckon £100m covers TAA, £100m covers Macca and £100m because they think they are above the game and if they start to haggle on the price I would suggest two words to them, the second one being ‘off’.
8
24 May 2025 13:23:13
Jesus Christ, all this from a player been rested. Been flogged the last 3 years between club and country and with us having the league won we are able to give him a much needed rest. that's all it is, happy at the Pool.
3
24 May 2025 13:31:55
Wdw: bake off?
2
24 May 2025 15:35:48
RM sh@t on LFC because they had the full power of the Bosman transfer behind them, fully agree with the posters above for one: they won't come knocking! two: he isn't free and the full transfer power is with LFC now. and 3: is the first figure of the transfer fee for the best midfield player in europe and certainly the premier if LFC reluctantly sells and four: why would he want to cover again repeatedly during games for a full back who can't defend and never holds his position, and thinks he's the best midfield player in europe! and five: who would want Bellingham, Mbappe and TAA who all have a history of stabbing clubs in the back, have them three not done that to LFC over the years as team mates, Alexis would that know when they put their arms around ye back they are feeling for the soft spot for the knife. and six: you have to have the biggest Hat size to join RM, and Alexis has never been a Big Head.

24 May 2025 17:15:42
If anyones curious where that rumour comea from. Its a comment made by someone in the hierarchy at Madrid which was overheard by a journo. The said person believed that Alonso's ties with Liverpool could be used to help Madrid sign macca.
Person who said it is not part of the hierarchy who signs or scouts players so I wouldn't take it too seriously.
0
24 May 2025 06:54:27
Apparently Writz to Liverpool done deal. £125m. Kerkez to follow.
15
24 May 2025 08:21:40
Not that I doubt it will be a done deal, I have a feeling it'll take longer than a day to agree payment size and structure. Loads of click milker pages jumping the gun to stay relevant.
8
24 May 2025 08:34:26
Click milker? Is he a German international?
16
24 May 2025 09:53:51
400K per week wages reported. is it true?
0
24 May 2025 10:01:44
I’d click maker a cdm? Or does he play in a udder position.
3
24 May 2025 10:34:45
You are a wordsmith sir.
2
24 May 2025 12:35:28
@Sami, are you seriously asking on here if the figure is true?
