He looks one hell of a player to me. tall, strong. good in reading the game, aerial duels, tackles, and with a wide range of passing. and most importantly, know when to press.

The incoming player reference in sparkys tweets is about vvd.
I believe the surprise is reference to the fact the eds did not see the deal happening.
Vvd does look like he wears mascara lol and maybe the soft hands is reference to cout in the Nivea adverts?
