Randall leave LFC on a 6 month loan to Rochdalle.

1.) 23 Aug 2018 18:55:38
Hopefully he does well. He's one that will doubtfully have any kind of long term career at LFC though.

2.) 23 Aug 2018 20:31:13
They a French lower division club?

23 Mar 2018 18:38:27
Gomez starts as CB as England will play with back 3! Ox and Hendo in the first eleveb aswell.

1.) 23 Mar 2018 21:28:04
Gomez comes off, injured after a few mins, turned his ankle .

2.) 23 Mar 2018 21:39:31
Got injured : (.

3.) 24 Mar 2018 01:30:43
I hate international breaks you never know what's going to happen to our players and for what. To make more money for the FA.

4.) 24 Mar 2018 20:42:38
I understand the argument for getting rid of friendlies at all other parts of the year they do seem pointless and completely discrupt the flow of the league but I think the ones a few months before a major tournament are quite important, so the international managers can try and form the right team, have a look at certain players and systems otherwise they're basing their picks on club form and England duties from nearly a year ago.

For example, the last time England played the Ox hadn't played in central midfield, lingaard wasn't consistently contributing in big games and Nick Pope was a back up keeper. I do however, find this week particularly boring waiting for the prem to come back!

22 Mar 2018 22:40:23
Is it only me, but I feel Danny Ings is getting his first start at the Everton game.

1.) 22 Mar 2018 22:56:37
I wouldn't be surprised at that as Everton will be up for it, I wouldn't risk any of our main men at Goodison not in between the CL QF. Remember their fans were glad when City beat them in 13/ 14.

2.) 22 Mar 2018 23:36:01
If he does start he'll score. We've all seen him the last 10 minutes of games and he's been so close, give him a full 90 minutes and he'll find the net no problem, I'd love to see him start against Everton.

3.) 23 Mar 2018 04:44:49
Last time we played Everton and saved some key players, half the site wanted Klopp gone for not playing the best players available in a Derby match.

4.) 23 Mar 2018 06:44:36
If we start a weakened team at Everton then that means we are putting our CL hopes before that of top 4. 3 points dropped against Everton at that stage of the season could prove to be costly. I'd love the CL trophy but going out in a CL quarter/ semi or losing finalist and finishing 5th would be a step backwards for us with not having CL football next season. Just my opinion though.

5.) 23 Mar 2018 08:16:04
Well said Jayden and partly agree but I would say that playing Ings and possibly resting Bobby or one of our top 3 is what a squad is for, every game we have left could be decider of if we finish in the top 4 or progressing / being put out of CL and unlikely we will have used only 11 players between now and end of May.

6.) 23 Mar 2018 09:55:10
They are a dirty team when it comes to us. every time we play them they are always trying to take out our best players ( and usually succeed with at least one) at least Barkley is gone, he was one of their worst offenders.

7.) 23 Mar 2018 17:26:26
It really depends on the result of the first match with City. I don't see Klopp resting much players, but 1-3. Firmino is desperate for a rest, yes he may be fit all the time but his body will appricate a rest.

07 Jan 2018 16:38:14
EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool Football Club have reached an agreement with Monaco over the transfer of Thomas Lemar for a club record transfer fee of Β£96M. Lemar will officially join Liverpool on 1st July 2018

Any truth in that? Eds you told Monaco won't sell this window and this sound realostic. Is it true?

{Ed002's Note - Is this the fat kid from Bolton on Twitter? If so it is bound to be true. Two biggies for Liverpool today then - Mahrez and Lemar. I understand he says that Liverpool are keen on Alexis Sanchez as well.}

1.) 07 Jan 2018 17:00:00
well a friend of mine send it me. No idea where it came from.

{Ed002's Note - Bolton, which is I think, like Liverpool, a suburb of Manchester.}

2.) 07 Jan 2018 17:08:53
Are you talking about that chap from The Firm BL? Why in the hell do people post this stuff, and other people actually listen? it's annoying.

3.) 07 Jan 2018 17:09:02
It is the fat kid from Bolton and he is never right until its too late to be called . Well, not as far as LFC are concerned.

4.) 07 Jan 2018 17:10:43
And they have bought James Dyson, figured he would be good at hoovering up loose balls in midfield.

5.) 07 Jan 2018 17:13:17
Fat kid from Bolton lol.

6.) 07 Jan 2018 17:25:20
I told I have no idea feom where my friend got the info, he just passed to me. Don't jump on me .

{Ed002's Note - Is he a real friend or an invisible friend?}

7.) 07 Jan 2018 17:29:05
It will be nice to have a bench of Meyer, Brandt, Draxler, Mahrez, Sanchez, Goretzka and Oblak.

8.) 07 Jan 2018 17:34:34
Paddy McGuiness?

9.) 07 Jan 2018 18:12:13
Ed 002 is an idiot
Liverpool a suburb of Manchester?
Clueless anti liverpool as usual.

10.) 07 Jan 2018 18:13:33
Real friend. Are you for real asking me that :D I have a chat group with friends regarding Liverpool LOL You just love to have fun with people.

11.) 07 Jan 2018 18:15:07
The fat kid from Bolton is Sam Allardyce.

12.) 07 Jan 2018 18:26:02
The Firm that's from I've seen it on twitter today. totally unreliable and full of crap. Certain youngsters lead rather sad little lives in Bolton it seems.

13.) 07 Jan 2018 18:27:28
C'mon on Philly C! Get wit programme.

And there it is!

14.) 07 Jan 2018 18:29:14
Or maybe just taking the mick Philip C?

Don't think anyone genuinely had insight into who we will sign at this point. We know who we want and they are only available in the summer. Interesting to see if we get anyone.

15.) 07 Jan 2018 18:36:39

16.) 07 Jan 2018 19:00:15
Paul Joyce reporting the same. Total Bollocks then? 110 million Euros apparently. Great if true but time will tell.

17.) 07 Jan 2018 19:05:47
Philip C you got caught on ed2s fishing hook there lad haha
Seems the fat kid from Bolton keeps catching lots every window too why doesn't he/ they just get banned 😣.

18.) 07 Jan 2018 19:32:40
Where did Paul Joyce state this, if I may?

19.) 07 Jan 2018 19:43:16
Real friend or invisible friend πŸ˜πŸ˜‚.

20.) 07 Jan 2018 19:57:40
Paul Joyce on Twitter. So it must be true! He got it from another Twitter feed I think.

21.) 07 Jan 2018 20:01:12
Who is the Fat kid from Bolton?

22.) 07 Jan 2018 20:18:42
Sammy Lee, Jason mcateer.

23.) 07 Jan 2018 20:52:55
Ed2 pisses people off, but think of how many people piss him off? people don't consider that, some people just don't get his humour, i didn't at one point but now, more then anything his replies are hilarious, people need to learn something; humour.

{Ed033's Note - Salah.

24.) 08 Jan 2018 11:28:10
Is is that hanz adulfo or summat like that? The firm said he's an agent for African players.

19 Mar 2017 08:45:23
I understood that Firmino and Hendo won't be ready, but how about Origi? Is he ready for todays match? And yeah Sturridge is out.

1.) 19 Mar 2017 10:25:39
Liverpool Echo are reporting that Firmino should be available!

2.) 19 Mar 2017 10:28:09
Did Nobby tell you that last night in The Grafton?

Any interest in Connor Randall?

1.) 30 Jul 2018 13:06:37
Is he on Tinder?

24 May 2018 07:36:24
Karius have 10 clean sheets from 19 matches this season. This gets him to 7th position in the EPL for most cs! Something he achives playing half of the games. De Gea has 18 and if Karius played tge full season are I going to be over reacting in thinking he could of beat De Gea? Definetly Karius improved from last season and our defence overall did! I am more than happy to keep Karius as first choice next season and to be honest I want that to happend!

1.) 24 May 2018 07:53:55
Last season he wasn't given much of a chance and had just come back from a broken hand injury, this season he came in when we needed somebody to perform the most and he stepped up, he showed us how capable he is. I still see people saying we should drop him, I'd understand that if we got Allison in or somebody of that calibre but until then he deserves to be our number 1, I do rate him and given more time I see him just improving and improving.

2.) 24 May 2018 07:54:18
I wouldn't say more than happy but that I will understand if a CB and CDM are prioritized over a GK next season.

3.) 24 May 2018 09:18:29
I would prefer we show faith in Karius than get Butland as has been suggested. However if there is anything in the Donnarumma (spelling) rumours I think that would be great. A keeper that actually catches the ball! Amazing! I know people say he has attitude issues but then same was said about Mane and he’s been fine.

4.) 24 May 2018 09:19:10
The only keeper with a better games to clean sheet ratio than Karius this season in Europes top 5 leagues is Oblak. He is a good keeper and we now have a good defense. Not the best, but good.

5.) 24 May 2018 10:01:20
Great point hjike. I must say the butland doesn't seem enough of an improvement. I always back our new signings, not to mention current players but jb? I'm not convinced. I mean Everton will have a better keeper than us, can you truly say that now, with karius.

6.) 24 May 2018 10:47:50
Unless Butland is being bought as a competitive no.2?

7.) 24 May 2018 11:44:06
It must be that hjike or klopp plans to rotate the keepers, he has done that in the last two years. Not saying I agree with it. Thing is, I can't see Jack coming to play no2 at this stage of his career. I think Karius has as much potential as Jack if not more. I could see Jack being another calamity jack.

25 Apr 2018 00:11:34
Did anyone besides me notice that Salah was crying after our 5th goal. I feel like that was tears from sadness that we are trashing his former team. I really did feel sad, after seeing him, for Roma fans.

{Ed0333's Note - maybe you mistook tears for raindrops?

1.) 25 Apr 2018 00:28:13
Clearly crying, his face expressions says it. Just take a look at the replay when they celebrate, I can't be the only one that sees him crying.

2.) 25 Apr 2018 00:39:26
I actually did see that but pretty sure he wasn't crying, he grimaced as he was about to get jumped by teammates from his side so he kinda squinted and winced bracing for impact, but yours would have been a nicer story :)

3.) 25 Apr 2018 03:47:25
Are you mad? his team is winning. why will he cry? if he was going to cry. I don't c him playing that we'll on the day. emotionally he would have been a deck then.

24 Apr 2018 23:58:32
I really hope to see Woodburn in Ox position at least once in the remaining games! Anyway its a big blow losing one of our fan favorites and top performers lateley. Speedy recovery to our warrior!

1.) 25 Apr 2018 00:17:00
Being realistic, unless one out of Can, Ox or Lallana pull a Lazarus, either Woodburn or Alexander-Arnold will get game time in midfield at between now and the end of season.

I just hope Klopp doesn't try to solve the problem by playing 343 because that generally hasn't worked for us this season.

2.) 25 Apr 2018 02:04:37
It's great that we have the depth of talent like Ben ready to step in.

3.) 25 Apr 2018 09:57:47
Woodburn has to be given. A chance, as the Ed’s said if we don’t give them a chance in crisis like this what’s the point! We need to see if they can play at the highest level:

17 Apr 2018 22:20:07
From all the hype around Salah and Firmino guess no one noticed that Mane needs 3 more to make it 20 goals this season! Does anyone know when was the last time when Liverpool had 3 players with tally of 20 or more and who were they?

1.) 18 Apr 2018 00:08:28
I've gone back several seasons and the closest I can see us coming to that was 2000-2001 when we won the treble.

Owen - 24 goals
Heskey - 22 goals
Fowler - 17 goals

Given that football for many decades was typically 4-4-2, I doubt we'll find any at all, as the goals would've been concentrated around 2 main strikers.

Truly a remarkable achievement for us this season, and hopefully to continue!

As a side note, if Couts had stayed, and given he's still 4th in our scorers this season with 12 goals, who's to say we couldn't have had 4 x 20+?!

2.) 18 Apr 2018 05:07:14
Zeddicus, Mane would be no where close to 20 goals if Coutinho was still here. Remember, Mane was in and out of the side while Coutinho was moved back from midfield to LW coz our midfield was so unbalanced with Coutinho there?
Firmino has also taken his game to the next level after Coutinho's departure so, NO. I doubt there would have been 4*20 under any circumstances.

3.) 18 Apr 2018 06:17:31
Agree, IB. Seems like Coutinho's departure unleashed more of the potentials of other players. Coutinho probably wasn't really our best player when he was here. Please don't get me wrong, he's still a quality player.

I'm excited. Now we have more "stars" than the usual only one star.

4.) 18 Apr 2018 08:19:36
Didnt mane spend much of the start of the season injured and suspended?

5.) 18 Apr 2018 08:49:16
Heskey 22 goals, Fowler 17 goals: a prime example of why statistics are meaningless when removed from the context.

6.) 18 Apr 2018 08:58:35
Faith - yes, he missed 5 games through injury and 3 through suspension between the start of september and the end of october - effectively 2 whole months out.

7.) 18 Apr 2018 10:25:07
Redlorry is that a dig at heskey and Fowler?

8.) 18 Apr 2018 11:11:45
I omitted Firmino from my team of the season and have changed my mind. I don't know a team who wouldn't be better off without him.

9.) 18 Apr 2018 14:21:15
I think he’s making the point that Fowler was miles better tha Heskey Ben elf.

It will be good move in my opinion. Yes it may not be the most competitive league but he will get much needed game time. I am sure he will get plenty of games and much more instead of the championship as we all know how "lucky" we are when we send someone in there. The best for him would be newly promoted team to the PL tho, say Cardif but Rabgers will be a good move.
