Hi all,

Not posted in a very long time, just wanted to say that night was magnificent. Incredibly proud and feel privileged to have witnessed that last night.

Thinking about going to madrid, won't have a ticket but does anybody have any idea if there will be any big screens showing the game over there? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi this is the latest info I have seen. Five days before the final, the Champions Festival will be set up in the city centre at locations like Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, aiming to attract fans of all persuasions, not only of the two finalists. For the fans, there will be two Fan Zones, with direct connections to the stadium via the Metro system, which was one of Madrid's biggest selling points in their bid. One station is on Line Seven directly opposite the ground and another two, on Lines Two and Five within a 15 to 20 minute walk.

Hi eds and fellow reds, I've visited this site for years now and often posted but haven't done for a while. I suppose today I am asking for you support more than anything. My mum is today having her second liver transplant in 6 days. Her body rejected the first and this her last chance salloon now. Is there any chance you could say a little prayer for her and have her in you thoughts today? It would be very much appreciated. From a fanatic red

{Ed002's Note - Ian, I truly hope that your mum gets through this tough time and I am certain that every member of this community will spare a thought for her, whether they pray to a god, call out Gauranga, venerate Vishnu, respect a higher being or chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. Our thoughts will be with your mother and your family. Please let us know how she gets on.}

Wembley78 I take your point that the league is tight and another slip up will see us out of the top four but every team is dropping points mate! United, spurs and chelsea a case in point! Also Rodgers can't always be blamed for conceeding at set pieces! The players have to take responsibility also! Johnson for instance, for lukaku's second he was brushed aside as though he wasnt there which left flanagan to try and mop up his mistake and to be fair to the young lad he tried his best! Now Rodgers, who is stood on the touchline can not control those variables! Take evra for instance at cardiff! got caught ball watching and the player who scored got a run on him! Moyes couldn't control that on the touchline, its a mistake! Communication I feel is lacking amongst the back four, there is no real leader, now rodgers mistake might have been made in the team selection! Maybe toure should have played instead!

Hang on a minute the word! I take it your an arsenal fan? So in that case would that mean that when you lost to villa 3-1 at home you were leading the charge of the wenger out brigade? Short memory's football fans I tell you! I like arsenal, I enjoy watching them play and like the way they conduct themselves behind the scenes but I tell you the gooner brigade are getting a tad ahead of themselves at the minute! I remeber arsenal throwing away a 4-0 lead at st james park not too long ago, have some respect for them!

I just don't see how this is the case with the way we behaved prior to the embarrassing apology we made . Surely Southampton, like Fulham will stick to fingers up and tell us where to go?

Erik Morales would be a great profile to do. His trilogies with Barrera and Pacquiao were legendary.

{Ed001's Note - I have added him to the list for you ian.}

Hi ed,

This is a very interesting topic you are debating. My dad has been going to anfield since the days of St. John and roger hunt! Went to Rome in 77 and has obviously seen the best to ever grace anfield! I was asking him the other day who he thought was the best player he had ever seen over the years and obviously I expected him to say kenny, Gerrard or Souness! However, he said he felt that Suarez was the greatest player he had ever seen! He said he's an absolute genius and the most naturally gifted footballer he'd ever seen! Would love to know your feelings on this!

ian the red

{Ed001's Note - on pure ability he would get the nod, but football is more than that. For starters his attitude stank, constantly fighting with the club to get a move off the pitch, constantly doing stupid things on the pitch. He could be a liability. That has to effect how he is judged.}

Sometimes ed it really does seem like you're trying to get a rise out of Liverpool fans! I understand that this site must be extremely tedious at times and your patience tried, but I feel there was little need for that comment! You do treat Liverpool fans slightly differently to other fans and you're dislike is becoming increasingly more apparent! I very rarely post, and I hope you don't see this as a personal attack as it isn't, but you must understand that most supporters don't have the knowledge of the game you possess and it appears you use that knowledge to make people look foolish and it's not fair! This isn't a go, merely an observation! Good day to you all

{Ed002's Note - I answered the question honestly. The club released some photographs of the inside of the new stand and it looks awful - which is what I said. Then there is the usual embarrassing nonsense bringing other clubs in to it. If the Liverpool fans are happy being in what looks like a detention centre (perhaps it makes them feel like home), then I really don't care. If people are not interested in an honest opinion, do dot ask questions. I have given more information about players on this page than I have on any other and you suggest that I "dislike" the Liverpool fans. There are other pages I give no information at all so perhaps it will be weasier if I went back to providing information to those pages and stoipped bothering here? You decide Ian.}.
