Good morning every 1,just want to share something that took place over the past week I do how ever apolgies if these 2 topics have been covered already.1st point is about what 1 of the eds said on modern sports science, as a pro footballer myself i'd love to comment on the issue of playing after long flights, its big stinker guys as you not at the physical and mental level as your opponents. I am pretty much sure that many people here would know more but you can't stress enough the wonders of what good rest can do to player. Pending on your individual levels for some it leaves you just flat or in my case I take longer much longer be on par with the game. Lucky me had the chance to watch the game and I noticed not only with our South American players but the majority of the them who played on saturday looked a bit flat. 2nd point was a debate I I had with 1 of collegues, we both occupy the same position and are both the only 2 Pool fans within our team. As attacking mids its only natural that we will modle our game on Couts, Firm or Sadio but always end up arguing who would be greater lossor a better all round footballer taking aside the role in the team. His argument is mainly based on the skills of Couts while I tend to rely on the work rate of Firmino. Funny part is since I have started to pay more attention to Firminos style of playing I find myself geting more game than he is (which I am not really chuffed about as I think he is a great footballer and should get the chance to show the world what he can do) but none the less I think only 1 of us can play at time according to manager. Moral of the story I wish to thank the all the views of the editors and participants of the site, if only you guys would know how much your views has helped an African boy to almost reaching his dream of representing his country in the near future, many thanks to all of you guys. Weekend result should not get us down we still in the fight YNWA.

Cool story, bro, wish you all the best! Hope your mate gets a chance at some point too, Klopp is proving the world that if you want, and foster the necessary determination and workrate, you can make even a team with eleven midfielders work! (in our current crop, I would count only Lovren, Karius and Clyne as not having played as midfielders at some point, and considering how Clyne spends most matches camping in the opposition half as a winger. )

2.) 21 Nov 2016 09:34:21
all the best to you my friend.

sometimes u need abit of luck though i feel. wherever u go, in whatever work force, your leader, the boss/ manager, the team, the role your in. sometimes it doesn't fit your strength and u may not shine as much as u can.

anyways good luck.

3.) 21 Nov 2016 10:39:45
Super post. Good luck lad.

4.) 21 Nov 2016 15:31:37
Good post. All the best Flex. The Eds know much more about the business side of the game too, so if you need help with agents or scouts or things like that, they could help you too. Hope you represent your country someday and make your dream come true. YNWA.

The looking of seeing how our players ran thier socks off left tears in my eyes. Couts, Firmino and Adam to make mention but the teams hard work off the ball was my high light of the game.

Pretty happy with Mane's goal. I was worried for the past 3-4 games where he was just a shadow like he used to be at Southampton ( Missing a large chunk of games ) .

2.) 24 Oct 2016 09:38:01
Incredible wasn't we, week in week out I get more and more excited about this team. We're playing better then any other team in the league in my opinion and when we go and see some of the top teams losing points at the weekend it's even more exciting. (especially utd getting smashed) we carry it on with Spurs tomorrow, let's show them what we're made of.

3.) 24 Oct 2016 17:41:28
And the good thing is that, Klopp (unlike he who will remain nameless) always wants more, is never satisfied and always stresses that we should forget what was achieved in the last game and keep working on what was NOT achieved in the last game as well as always looking to improve. That is the Michael Jordan school of success as in, "Nobody cares what you did even yesterday. You have to go out there everyday and in every game and do it again and again". That is what made him the beast that he was and the success story and icon he is today is world sports. That is the type of attitude that you need to be successful. Don`t quit and NEVER settle! this is what Klopp has instilled in our players and it is working. Long may it continue.

Good post hamilton and absolutely correct.

5.) 24 Oct 2016 20:26:49
He's delivered on a lot of his goals already. He wanted to turn the fans from doubters to believers and he wanted to bring the party/ entertainment atmosphere at Anfield. He despaired when we went behind to Palace at Anfield and fans left with 12 minutes to go. He said we have to make them believe that 12 minutes is enough to win the game. He has definitely done this, I never feel like this team has given up or is in a hopeless position. We have so many goal threats in a game it's constant excitement and as Hamilton said - there's no let up.

6.) 24 Oct 2016 21:00:08
Spot on, boys. And to your point Ron, if any fan still thinks we have no chance of turning a game around after the Dortmund Comeback, then I cannot help said fan. We all lived that moment and most importantly, the players and coaches lived it and therefore, have some history of coming back against all odds. That is a huge mental advantage and platform to build on this season (something many teams know absolutely nothing about) and everyone who participated in that historic comeback (coaches, players, fans at Anfield, at the bars and in their homes worldwide) deserve all the credit.

7.) 24 Oct 2016 21:16:14
I started supporting Liverpool because I loved the way they played. So I love the way Klopp has them playing now - trying for a win rather than grinding out a succession of 0-0 or 1-0 games. Makes it very easy to get my kids watching them in a world where lots of other things compete for their attention.

With the US tour coming I can't help buit feel our young players have really done well for them selves. IF I may ask your current view on Connor Randall, a while ago this what was said "Randall is good on the ball, but he is still very new to the role and struggles defensively. He is tenacious and keeps going, even when he is struggling, but it is mostly potential that he possesses "{Ed001's Note - not sure, he looks good but he needs a run out to have a proper look at him. He has only recently been switched to right back, but he seems to suit it naturally. He looks physically ready, but in need of experience in the role to really grow into it. I would like to see him given a chance in the cup to have a good look at him. } Do you think he has improved and worked his way up the picking order or we should not really be reading to much in these pre season games. Thanks again for all the work you people do. Kind regards.

flex

{Ed001's Note - he did show improvement each time he played, he grew into each game. However, I still have fears over his end product, he doesn't really offer a lot on the ball, yet. He needs to work on that.}

1.) 18 Jul 2016 11:30:56
Thanks Ed, I hope we help him improve on those, showing some good signs there. Thanks again.

2.) 18 Jul 2016 11:47:52
He looks OK to me but an average delivery into the box at best, and he misses some great opportunities to play others in (last game perfect case in point with Manes run) . I'd rather see Gomez or Flanno backing up Clyne.

3.) 18 Jul 2016 13:16:03
I thought he struggled defensively yesterday. I know it's only a friendly but it did stand out for me.

Weigl, what a talent. All in all great a game last night. Team work was the winner for us.

Difficult 1 to call, but I my money is that the "kids" might be happy with the idea knowing the team stands abetter chance of winning with a "stronger side" which they will also benefit from with winners medals and all. On the other hand I could be wrong and they might feel as if they not good enuf. Down to how Klopp handles the subjective situation.

Thanks on the fast reply Ed, makes sense why most of his (Klopp) players are willing to run through walls for him with baloteli the odd the exception. Many of us would give so much to work with such a manager. Still say we very blessed to still have Klopp. Any way guys I am of to show my support for the world Aids day. Stay blessed all.

{Ed001's Note - take care mate.}

classic madmax, I think it boils down to concentration levels, at times he seems the real deal until he switches off and looks lost. I could be wrong be i remember 1 of the eds saying he is player who tends take to many risks by dribbling a lot before we signed him that also seems very evident till now. can't recall where I read or heard this but it is said of all the players Kloops screams at him the most for what ever reason. Could be that he tries to hard maybe at times to please Kloop, maybe Ed you may assist me here. Is he very close with Kloop or is just the normal player manager relationship?

flex

{Ed001's Note - Klopp is very close to almost all of the players mate, that is how he manages. He creates a close camp, a team, and the coaching staff and himself are part of the team, rather than aloof from it, in the way Mark Hughes is, or at least was at previous clubs, not sure if he has changed now he is at Stoke.}
