He isn't even close to as good as we have. Hasn't even performed well at Villa this season.

He's by Vlarr better than Sakho who always looks like someone has shouted BOO behind him when he receives the ball. Lovren had 4 Good games fo Southampton and is only here for the payday and Skirtel is s penalty waiting to happen . I'd rather see Llori get a start and picking up Vlarr on s free I think would be better than what we got

Vlaar is nowhere near as good as Sakho. He has had a poor season himself and he has had some injuries too so it would be a big risk.
I agree with you on Skrtel, his pulling and hauling in the box from set pieces especially, he can't keep getting away with it.
No idea how you can decide that Lovren is only here for the payday? He looked extremely committed and his poor performances at the beginning really seemed to upset him - why would he care if he was just here for the money? I hope he'll come good and I'd like to see him adapt to RCB playing alongside Sakho without having to worry about where Skrtel is running off to.

IMO the club has got to a point where the true die-hard fans are more passionate about the club that the players and management. I say die-hard fans, I am a season ticket holder and Anfield these days is like a morgue on match days and it takes for something special to happen before it starts bouncing because it's full of all sorts of people from all over the world. I cast my mind back to recent times of Rafa's reign when we were singing Rafa's 'La Bamaba' song that went on and on and had the place rocking. There's other examples of course.
We've lost our way a lot and it's going to be a long road back to the glory days even with the right players and manager.

I read your posts regarding players being Brendaned
and the more I think about it the more I worry for the club.
Are the owners or the board looking to replace BR or are they satisfied with the running of the club just not trusting him with the transfers?
I was looking forward to Flanno being given a good run at right back then he gets Manquillo in and is Markovic really that much better than Ibe
Also I really hope he plays Can more and Gerrard less otherwise we will never progress
{Ed002's Note - The owners have been very supportive. They have created the transfer committee to help Rodgers' area of weakness. I agree that many of the youngsters looked like they would make it, but that chance seems to have gone.}

spot on Ed002 . I'm sick of hearing how we have the best fans in the world when all they do is slag off players before we've even signed them . They slagged off Gerrard when he might of joined Chelsea they slagged off Rodgers after hailing him as the messiah a year before they berate a young gifted player who wants to win things by changing clubs in Sterling. The abuse they gave him at the last game was disgraceful . Well done lads that will make him want to stay . If we really want to be known as the best fans in the world . Back the team no matter what song as loud as we can at EVERY game and show a bit of humility and grace hen someone decides to move on. YNWA JFT 96

well said . It's about time some credit was given to BR any team would struggle when you take out 60 goals. But he's turned it around admitted he got it wrong so hopefully he can learn from it YNWA
