Faith is fairly worthless when the cold hard facts are that we have dodgy keepers, dodgy centre backs, the softest weakest midfield in the top six and literally zero creativity in midfield. Our only hope is that Salah, Mane and Firmino bring their ‘A game’.

They’re the best attacking team in the premier league and they have a far superior defensive record than us, they’ve only dropped points away from home once, even then they didn’t concede. If we somehow scrape a draw that will be a result, but certainly there’s no reason to have any confidence that our midfield, defence and keepers will keep them out.

Pretty sure we are unbeaten in 17 games, have the best defensive record in the league at home, have the Anfield crowd behind us and one of the best front three in European football.
I’ll watch and support from start to finish. If we don’t perform then that’s one thing but I’m pretty sure the game hasn’t even kicked off as yet 😎

Don't care who we get as long as its someone who can create chances because that midfield against Everton was shocking. Absolutely dire. If we were to see out the rest of the season with them we won't be finishing top 4.

I completely agree when coutinho doesn’t play for us firmino just doesn’t look the same. As much as I have always been a fan of Can potential obviously his interest in playing for us seems to be disappearing. And when it’s a midfield of Milner Henderson and Wijnaldum it really leaves a lot to be desired. It’s a shame Grujic never had more minutes under his belt to see if he could step in. I personally would rather see TAA given a go in midfield over Milner.

Is this one to appease the fans when we don't sign anyone. They can say when the window close's well we tried to sign such and such but its hard to sign anyone in January even though we knew since the summer he was leaving. The usual spiel. Bet this won't get posted.
