Hi Ed's.
Did we or have we ever had any interest in Jamaal Lascelles of Newcastle. Seen him play about 10 times this season and looks fairly steady and could be a good signing if we get rid of Lovren, Klavan or Matip and could be a good partner along side VVD if we don't want to pay a fortune, probably a 35-40 million pound payer.
Thanks.

canadianscouse

{Ed001's Note - when he was at Forest we did. You obviously haven't watched him that closely or you would see why he is at Newcastle and everyone else dropped interest. He makes mistake after mistake after mistake. People seem to forget that he made the mistake leading to a chance after he throws his body in the way of a shot that should never have been allowed in the first place. He makes Lovren seem reliable.}

1.) 01 Apr 2018 06:02:56
ed have we looked at Matthijs de Ligt at all looks like he is going to be a star for years to come, and he might like to link up with VVD at club level.

{Ed001's Note - yes, he has been watched a few times.}

2.) 01 Apr 2018 10:34:12
Sorry ed1 but he's just a random player apparently. So don't hold your breathe.

{Ed001's Note - I never said we were moving for him. I said we have watched him. I have also pointed that I don't expect us to buy any centre backs this summer, including De Ligt.}

3.) 01 Apr 2018 16:28:40
I was basing my opinion on 10 games not 1 Ed001, but thanks for your opinion and reply any way.

{Ed001's Note - and I was talking about over the course of his career, it is why the scouts all watched him but no one went for him other than Newcastle.}

4.) 01 Apr 2018 21:20:46
If we are going to chase any English defender it should be Ben Mee in my opinion.

5.) 02 Apr 2018 12:50:40
We need to get ideally a CB a GK and CDM this summer. Worst case we need to get a CB and CDM.

6.) 02 Apr 2018 13:13:52
De ligt is also being looked at by numberous top European clubs ie Barcelona etc.

7.) 02 Apr 2018 19:34:48
I think Ben Mee is a good defender too nostra. Not flashy anywhere but a decent player no less.

11 Jan 2018 16:20:22
Talk of Grujic going to Huddersfield. Any truth to this Ed's? Think it would help the lad out in his development as Wagner plays a similar style to Klopp.

canadianscouse

{Ed002's Note - Yes, and as has been explained he really needs to stay in England.}

1.) 11 Jan 2018 16:53:01
Good move, hope he does well.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 17:21:00
Shame. Every time I've seen him play he's impressed me. Really hope he gets back on track with this loan. With Coutinho leaving, Henderson injure and Can on his way out, now would be a great time for him to break his way into the team.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 18:13:18
Surely now would be a great time for him to get some regular first team premier league football in preparation to try to break into our team next season. I think it would be a great move for both him (for his development and experience) and the club.

4.) 11 Jan 2018 18:40:35
Perfect move for the lad! Hopefully if can hold down a place and impress could be like a new signing for next year. Just needs opportunity to prove himself, then perform and he will earn his opportunity.

{Ed002's Note - He has to play regularly or he will be gone in the summer.}

5.) 11 Jan 2018 21:28:39
Great move for the lad! I hope he applies himself and earn a future in England.

6.) 11 Jan 2018 21:58:07
Very good move with a great coach, Wagner will give him a chance and he should progress.

7.) 11 Jan 2018 22:40:01
He's best moving on, we don't want another Markovic situation on our hands, Markovich deserved better treatment then he got here, it's damaged his career and I fear for Grujic should he stay at Liverpool because I think it's safe to say he won't get his chance with us and he deserves to, he has great potential. Does it look like Markovich will be moving on in this window?

8.) 12 Jan 2018 07:03:30
Not trying to go too deep into the politics of the situation, but aren't Serbia about to join the EU meaning he won't require a WP soon.

It was planned that they'd join before 2019 if memory serves, but not sure if this has updated since.

I'm a bit behind on EU stuff these days, have far more of a grasp on South American countries and UK related WP work regulations, so apologies if wrong on that.

{Ed002's Note - Serbia is a canditate, the UK is backing out, line remains as I have explained it and if he does not get game time he might be able to walk away for free and regardless he could certainly have his WP withdrawn.}

9.) 13 Jan 2018 14:08:37
Ok Ed, thanks.

18 Dec 2016 18:55:35
Just a quick question for the ed's and anyone interested giving their opinion. With the neighbors looking to sell off Barkley were we ever interested or has he dropped off that badly. A few years ago I thought he had the makings to be a good midfielder and maybe a long term replacement for Stevie G. Admittedly I don't watch a lot of their games so would just appreciate some fed back on this, definitely not good enough for our team and the style we are playing under Klopp.

canadianscouse

{Ed001's Note - no chance of him ever joining us and he was never at Gerrard's level. He has suffered badly at the hands of poor coaching, but he is not as good as he was made out to be. Still got potential, but not at the level of the youngsters we have.}

1.) 18 Dec 2016 20:15:21
Thanks for the input.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

2.) 18 Dec 2016 20:18:58
Poor coaching but his heavy partying does not help.

I'm talking all night seshes here by the way.

He's his own worst enemy and only has himself to blame.

{Ed001's Note - agreed, but a good coaching staff would have pulled him up on it, Bobby M just indulged the players.}

3.) 18 Dec 2016 21:51:08
Never seen the hype around Bartley. Bang average imo.

{Ed025's Note - bartley is a decent player to be honest max, and if henderson gets the plaudits for being a good player then ross being miles ahead in ability terms should as well mate, take them rose tinted glasses off and you might see football in a different light..

4.) 19 Dec 2016 00:30:32
Shame how these good players lose their way like Barkley and Rodwell.

5.) 19 Dec 2016 01:08:28
He looks a bit fat and out of shape to me.
Looks like he might be a wasted talent sadly.

6.) 18 Dec 2016 22:26:16
I'm sorry ed but I had to post. You just said Berkeley is not as good as our youth but better than jordan Henderson? I'm not rose tinted, he could have been that player but can't see it now. Which is it? Btw I used to rate him but not now.

{Ed025's Note - i never said he was not as good as your youth isedgodam, i cant actually think of a liverpool youth player who would get a game for accrington!, you dont bring young players through anymore you go out and buy from abroad like a lot of clubs and are part of the cause in the downfall of english football mate..

7.) 18 Dec 2016 22:29:36
ED025.

I would say naturally there is a lean towards your own players. But Barkley and Henderson are miles apart.

Even if Barkleys ability is that much better as you say its irrelevant if it's failed to be utilised. You're comparing a captain of a team, rewarded for his utmost discipline and commitment and the example he sets to others. He's also gaining quick ground in terms of his consistency. A player that is definitely improving constantly, whilst not playing in a position he's necessarily totally used to.

Then you have Barkley, someone that has capitulated in terms of his end product time after time, lacks any real consistency to his game and whos regularly in and out of the team. Add that to the fact that i'm guessing he's a bit of a party head by the comments above and i don't understand the comparison between him and Henderson in any footballing terms really.

Is it not you who has the blue tinted glasses on mate? ;) .

{Ed025's Note - what i was pointing out smallsy was the difference of opinion that fans will have on players especially their own, we see ross as a talent who has all the attributes to become a very special player but has yet to reach those dizzy heights, we see jordan as a headless chicken who runs around a lot but is actually busy doing nothing, you see barkley as an overweight underachiever and henderson as the second coming...it was an exercise to see how different we see the game depending on which colours you don and i think i proved my point mate.. :)

8.) 18 Dec 2016 22:35:16
Ed hendo way better . Barkley can become a top player . But he looks overweight and he picks the Wrong ball most of the time and over runs to . Sorry just can't see the hype mate and hendo plays in a different postion . Now there postion Barkley plays in a number 10 so you should of said coutinho.

{Ed025's Note - ross is not fit to lace coutinho,s boots MIB i will give you that, but as a footballer they are chalk and cheese, hendo is a forest gump type of player and will sit in the hall of fame alongside carlton palmer and seth johnson who,s contribution to football can only be described as miniscule mate.. :)

9.) 19 Dec 2016 07:06:31
I don't doubt his ability Ed, just that he's not playing aswel as he should be. Technically he is good. He always pulls out of 50/ 50 tackles or doesn't even tackle, doesn't track back as much as he should. I'm not comparing him to Henderson either.

{Ed025's Note - he has been a serial underachiever max but there is something special in there just waiting to come out mate..my god i hope its tonight.. :)

10.) 19 Dec 2016 09:10:00
25 😂😂.

11.) 19 Dec 2016 10:03:53
I like Ross, and had he been a red we'd all harbour greater whimsical hopes of him being the second coming of stevie. even more so that how some of us held hopes for the flase dawn that was rossiter.

12.) 19 Dec 2016 12:13:15
You say we got being anyone thought. Sterling stuwert Ojo Ibe smith? i think your blue nos is coming through ed and what.

{Ed025's Note - now i have deciphered your post i can tell you that raheem was a product of the QPR academy and the other 3 will make a living in the lower leagues as far as i can tell mate..

13.) 19 Dec 2016 12:35:54
Course you don't like Henderson if your a bitter. if you actually watched him you would see what he does and how important he is to liverpool. barkley is massively overrated. hendo has improved this season under klopp where as barkley gets worse every season and as soon as he finds any form he will be off to a bigger club. he's the next Rodwell. overated crap.

{Ed025's Note - i agree that ross has somewhat underachieved abo but the guy does have talent unlike a certain mr henderson who is a great runner, but so is usain bolt but i would not want him in my side either..

14.) 19 Dec 2016 13:39:13
If you think Henderson is crap then I guess you have never played football. I guarantee the players around him appreciate what he does because he sacrifices his own personal glory in order to provide cover and back up in areas when others may get caught out of position. there are many types of players and those that play in the style of Hendo never get the recognition they deserve because he doesn't do all the fancy stuff. people say that we lost the league in Gerards final season because of his mistake against chelsea but it was really because a hole was left in our midfield when Hendo was suspended after the man city game and I think that demonstrated how much of an important player he is for a team that almost won the league that season and is arguably one of the best teams this season. also the season following the one we came runners up Hendo was plagued by injury and we didn't find any form as a team until he returned in thw latter part of the season so I think you need to take a closer look.

{Ed025's Note - i never said he was crap slimz, just not very good at football, living in the city a lot of my friends are reds and most of them dont rate him either, hes a box to box player supposedly but never actually achieves anything, now if were talking about powerhouse box to box players we look at the likes of gana gueye, ya ya toure and n,golo kante...now they are the real deal mate..but its all about opinions in the end..

15.) 19 Dec 2016 17:10:54
Sterling was are club since he was 12th mate .

{Ed002's Note - Sterling was 15 when purchased by Liverpool from QPR and he cost the club just under £600k initially. The club then paid a little less than £2.7M to QPR in add ons and a little under £8M when he was sold to Manchester City, Depending on additional monies that come for appearances, success etc. there, Liverpool could pay a further £1M to QPR for Sterling. As an aside Jordan Ibe joined from Wycombe Wanderers at 16.}

16.) 20 Dec 2016 06:18:16
Barkley showed that potential last night. dirty barstool. Typical toffee.

17.) 20 Dec 2016 09:49:28
Ok I know we think we have grear youth. but did some seriouly offer up ibe, smith and stewart to compare with barkleym aw gummoooon.

18.) 20 Dec 2016 15:13:56
Ed025 that's an interesting take on Hendo. I agree he doesn't do anything flashy. He passes back and sideways way too often. But he is vital to our team at the moment. His work rate is top notch which is vital to Klopps style. And he has been incredibly important to protecting the back line. Without hendo in there we would be leaking even more goals. He doesn't make many mistakes but doesn't take too many risks. It's okay to have a few of those players.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think it would be very entertaining Tj if a team had many of them mate, but i do appreciate that you are only backing your player mate...and i can live with that..

19.) 20 Dec 2016 21:50:29
I guess we'd never know Hendo's value to the team until he isn't there! also ed, is gueye a powerhouse? he seemed a bit lightweight and all over the show to me. but granted that was the only time I've wwatched him!

{Ed025's Note - gana is the bees knees faithinworks, not much between him and kante i would say mate..

20.) 21 Dec 2016 11:40:14
Thus is actually hilarious. How anyone can still doubt headersons ability. And doesn't do anything flashy. Pretty sure he scored a contender for goal of the season already. Nearly got another against westham. Is one of our best long ball passers. And there is no need to mention all the other work he does. He is a captain. Likely to be Liverpool and England's for a while. Barkley doesn't come close and this yet another time players who look good and do something fancy once in a blue moon are supposedly more talented than those who do the smart and easier thing more often and are consistent top perfermers every week.

Just wanted wish Sadio Mane all the best and thanks for all your efforts in playing a part in bringing back silverware to Anfield.
That done time to move forward. Think we need to look at signing another forward especially if Minamino moves, we look a little light, with only Jota (hot or cold) and Firmino as recognized forwards on the bench, Gordon yet to prove himself (needs time) more so if Salah ins't showing any interest in renewing his contract.

canadianscouse

1.) 18 Jun 2022 20:35:21
Yep time to move forward. Diaz replaced Mane on the left and now we have Nunez. Don't see that we're light up front at all.

{Ed0666's Note - We’re ok up front but we see one more in midfield. There’s no guarantees Elliot & Carvalho will be top class and irrespective of this we need a Fab understudy. I would be flabbergasted if another midfielder didn’t come in before the transfer window shuts. Especially given the fact we went in so fervently for tchouameni which clearly illustrates the management feel we need a midfielder

2.) 18 Jun 2022 21:17:46
I think Barella would be good but not much chance also we don't have much good luck with italians.

{Ed0666's Note - a bit like Ed’s 001 ?

3.) 18 Jun 2022 22:09:14
I agree Ed0666. Would like us to bring someone in this summer and Bellingham next. Who would you like to see us but?

{Ed0666's Note - I like the look of sangare at PSV the very little I’ve seen him play but he looks a bit robotic. But he could deffo do a job when Fab is injured but not buying Bissouma may be a mistake as he would have been an ideal component in any klopp system and you could even play Fab & Bissouma together. Maybe we didn’t go in for him because we are eyeing someone in that midfield berth?

4.) 18 Jun 2022 23:26:11
Lol on form tonight 6 Tris will no doubt agree however. isn't he trying his luck in the Philippines now ;-)

I would like to see a cm come in and please sell Keita he has had an abundance of opportunity to justify the investment and continually fails to do so.

Take what we can for him and re invest along with the monies from other sales.

Which realistic cm would you go for pal?

{Ed0666's Note - apparently Ed’s 001 is a taken man and he is being a good boy!!! We certainly need to get rid of The Ox & Naby but my ideal midfielder has just signed for spurs. Maybe Ndombele?

5.) 19 Jun 2022 07:41:17
Ndombele is proper lazy eds and has proven that at every club he's played at. definitely a player in there but not for me.

6.) 19 Jun 2022 19:06:22
Ed666 as much as I love Bissouma, I don’t think he was ever interested in coming to us as he spent all of last summer begging for Arsenal to sign him and they never did. What did they see or know about him that they chose to not sign a player that many thought they needed?

Add to the fact that he is still out on bail and Klopp dies not sign players with attitude problems and esp those who really don’t want to play for us, I’m not surprised we didn’t sign him. Now, I hope we do get a midfielder in as well so let’s wait and see.

{Ed0666's Note - he’s innocent until proven guilty in my eyes mate. With regards to the Arsenal thing maybe he wanted to be in London? It is a curious situation tho…maybe clubs were cautious due to the police investigation hence why he wasn’t more sought after?

01 Dec 2021 01:50:06
Just read Ray Kennedy has passed away, a great player and a great man, luckily enough to see him play, a magical left foot, Will never walk alone. RIP.

canadianscouse

1.) 01 Dec 2021 08:59:53
One of my favourite players of his era, he was a fantastic servant for our club. The switch from outright striker to left midfield was a genius move that worked out better than even Bob Paisley could have imagined. Check the list of honours he achieved. His struggles since playing were great but he didn’t give up. The passing of an absolute legend. YNWA.

20 Apr 2021 15:18:03
Hey Ed's a quick question. Could players refuse to play in the "Super League" should a team join or are they contracted to stay? A manger could walk away but players?

canadianscouse

{Ed002's Note - Players have contracts but many clubs would not hold them hostage if the wish to leave.}

03 Mar 2019 18:52:00
Think I may get slated for this, but think that if some one comes in for Salah with sill money (100 mil +) I think we should take it and buy 2 quality strikers, eg Timo Warner, Immobile, Icardi, Dybala. (add your own choice) We don't have a good plan "B" to put in. I can see Sturridge, maybe Origi going along with Lallana and Milner. Short of real attacking options to maintain a title challenge, Defence is sound with Gomez coming back and Ox return from injury.

canadianscouse

{Ed0333's Note - the most outlandish overreaction in the world ever. You wanna get rid of a truly world class player that any side in world football would relish on the back of him not scoring the 2 guilt edged chances he had today? And on top of that you’d only want a 100 million for him? That’s less than Coutinho. Give you’re head a wobble mate.

1.) 03 Mar 2019 19:02:48
Get a bloody grip!

2.) 03 Mar 2019 19:31:12
great response Ed.

{Ed0333's Note - it beggars belief how some people react to us not winning mate. Like spoiled entitled teenagers or despots.

3.) 03 Mar 2019 19:55:16
Risking the wrath here myself aswell but football is about opinion and I agree canadianscouse. Well, about the sale if a good offer comes in (not getting embroiled about the fee.

Salah is a good player no doubt about it, but he is not truly world class at all, infact i think its abit of an insult to messi and co. to say salah is in the same bracket.

World class players perform week in week out, season in season out, they stand up when needed and win games, sometimes single handedly. Salah did last season, but hasn't this. I still think he should have scored 50% more last season, missed some sitters.

The phrase 'world class' is branded around too easily just like 'legend'.

Gerrard was world class, and an absolute legend. I am not comparing him to Salah because they are obvsiouly completely different players, I'm just saying.

football is about opinion.

4.) 03 Mar 2019 20:04:18
calm and perspective. there are a lot of matches left. I'm still confident.

5.) 03 Mar 2019 20:00:28
We are all entitled to our opinion Ed 0333, The word "World class" player is very often over used as in this case, Salah has become 1 dimensioned tries to place the ball every time in place of putting his boot through the ball or even playing the simple pass to an open player. Name calling is immature as I am not some" entitled teenager or despot" I played the game at a high level, probably higher than you. As I say it's an opinion.

{Ed0333's Note - yes you have probably played football at a higher level than me and you maybe correct in saying Salah is one dimensional as elects to place the ball rather than smash it into the net (maybe he feels he has more accuracy/control this way) but It would be remiss of me not to put up an impassioned advocacy of the breathtaking ‘world class’ talent that is Mohammed Salah Ghaly. If youthink Salah isn’t world class than I’m incredulous and shocked especially as you come from such a lofty position of expertise. Also what makes you think that icardi, immobile or Dybala et al would come to us? Salah is ours and performing at a stellar level more often than not which surely is worth more than selling him and taking a punt on a new player.

6.) 03 Mar 2019 20:39:52
We might As well sell V. V. D. to he's missed a couple of headers and tackles latly 😁 just calm down were in a great position.

{Ed0333's Note - did he? when? Lol

7.) 03 Mar 2019 20:42:56
Hey ed maybe that's why we don't deserve too win the league with absolutely foolish fan reactions, let's not forget here salah is a winger naturally same as mane, we don't have a real predator in the middle bobby is boss but he ain't an out an out goalscorer, salah is taking all the responsibility as the goal getter and without him on the pitch this season we wouldn't be were we are .

{Ed0333's Note - I’m still open mouthed as to some fans wanting to sell Salah Hailstones. In my opinion were blessed such a superb footballer, philanthropist and humanitarian wants to play for us I would have him over 99% of players in the world I.e Kepa, Icardi, Ramos etc. Have you ever heard a peep of arrogance, defiance or rebuttal from him? The guy oozes class much like Roger Federer and is a fantastic ambassador for our club. He misses two chances and we should sell him what about the 49 goals he’s scored for us in record breaking time in such splendid fashion? Some people have real short memories. I thought he was a real nuisance today and all that was lacking was a goal.

8.) 03 Mar 2019 20:51:08
Canadian moose!

9.) 03 Mar 2019 21:39:01
To truly appreciate how good Salah is, look at his goals and assists in the last 2 seasons, then try and think what players Liverpool could buy who are superior to him. I cannot think of any forwards in world football who are better than Salah apart from Messi. Dybala, Icardi play in the slow Italian league.
Admittedly Salahs goals have dryed up but he is still causing havoc for opposition defences in almost every game. We cannot expect him to score every game, maybe Liverpool are over reliant on the front 3 and need to add more goals from midfield. Selling Salah is not the answer .

10.) 03 Mar 2019 21:48:39
It's Canadian SCOUSE JAY. BORN BRED RAISED IN LIVEROOL ALWAYS A RED!

{Ed025's Note - and entitled to your opinion mate..

11.) 03 Mar 2019 22:02:52
You see, it is these types of petulant, OTT comments that do my head in. So according to the OP, we should sell a proven, incredible, international talent who ANYONE would have in his team, cos he did not score in one game? What about the other multitude of games he has scored in or in games where he has saved our bacon? Should all that now be kicked to the back burner? How do you know Icardi, Werner are better cos clearly, you have not seen them play that much. Werner (who is off to Bayern) is pretty hit and miss and Icardi is a nightmare to deal with for a manager.

I am not bothered at what level you played football at cos it is of not relevance here, bro. You saying Salah should smash it instead of placing it, is a matter of opinion, not fact. As someone who has actually played the CF position, it depends on what the player is comfortable with. Some like accuracy hence, placement while others just play the percentages like Vardy, and smash them. You would know that if you played football at whatever level you played it at.

Pls, give over man cos what you posted is NOT an opinion cos it lacks any type of thought, nuance and logic. You just sound like a spoiled, petulant child who threw his toys out of the pram cos he did not get the fav. toy he wanted. Get A Grip!

12.) 03 Mar 2019 22:04:28
Thanks Ed025. appreciated. as I say, only an opinion no need for name calling, very childish and immature.

{Ed025's Note - its all about opinions CS and your opinion is as valid as everybody else mate...take no notice..

13.) 04 Mar 2019 00:13:57
Out of curiosity were you that upset by Jay's post? Just my opinion but I know I have bigger worries than someone on the internet calling me names.

We all have opinion and are entitled to said opinion. Mine is there are 9 games plus CL left. I will support the shirt and players in the shirt. What will be will be.

Either way this to me has been the most exciting year since 08.
Matt in FL.

14.) 04 Mar 2019 01:16:05
Naa he was freaking good against Everton.

15.) 04 Mar 2019 04:57:30
Cant agree with selling Salah as on his day he can be unplayable. However, i agree with the OP that Salah can be hit and miss and, despite his record amount of goals last season, i don't see him as a natural finisher and often makes the wrong choices with the ball. He is a vital component of this team though and compliments our front three but he should be scoring double the amount with the chances he gets.

16.) 05 Mar 2019 09:09:49
I just wish he'd work on using his right foot a bit more. It still baffles me that they do this for a living and at the very least don't have a serviceable weak foot. Think it would open up a bit more space for him if there was even a mild threat he'd go the other way for a change. Think that would help put him in that top bracket of players.

{Ed001's Note - but he goes on his right a lot, which is why he is so successful at being able to cut in on his left. I really wonder why people don't actually see these things.}

I know he takes the ball right a lot Ed, I don’t disagree, but I don’t think he uses his right foot a lot. He’s always looking to come back on the left and whip something, or prod something with his left. The chance against Everton where he took it too close and wide, he was looking to shift round on to his left instead of just taking it with his right.

If I was a FB up against him, I know the ball is never leaving his left, means I can play that side a bit more, if he beats me with a swinger of a right or outside of left, fair play. But I actually think it makes running with the ball harder for him on the right, as the ball is always defenders side rather than having his body in the way.

Not being pedantic Ed or anything, or argumentative, just my opinion. I’ll take a closer look next game on this.

{Ed001's Note - then why can no full back handle him? If it is so easy like?}

The way we are and have been playing at times this season does any one feel that we/ Klopp is missing the "brain" from last year, Željko Buvac? There have been odd games where we have been outstanding yet other times average and some times really poor.

Does our unbeaten status mean the brain was dead before and has been resurrected this year in form of ljinders? (sorry for spelling)

2.) 03 Dec 2018 18:30:41
I can understand the criticsim in not playing the entertaining football we did last season but the points speak for themselves.

3.) 03 Dec 2018 18:39:35
Good grief, not the whole "brain" narrative, again? No one is missing the "brain", OP. We are better than we were last season and that is a fact. The brain had nothing to do with it (or did he suddenly become the brain fart when we were leaking goals for fun the past two season? ) then and has nothing to do with it now. Klopp has us right where the "brain" never could so clearly, Klopp does not need him to function. The brain is gone and should stay exactly where he is, wherever that is.

4.) 03 Dec 2018 20:40:55
All I know is that matip hasn't made as many late appearances, so maybe the brain is learning? Not bashing matip, rather late defensive changes.

5.) 03 Dec 2018 21:59:41
It should be amply clear, by now, that Klopp wanted to play a different way. So our playing differently is because of Klopp wanting it, and not because of Buvac not being there. Buvac is not there because of this, and not the other way around. (I miss the helter skelter hard metal stuff, but i will take the points every single day of every millennium) .

6.) 03 Dec 2018 23:43:16
I don't recall Buvac getting this much credit when we were getting pummeled and conceding goals for fun last two seasons. Funny that.

7.) 04 Dec 2018 09:54:00
Think its too early to judge or even think abt Buvac, will know better at the end of the season if we truly miss him or not!

Maybe if the player had to pay the agents "fee" out of his own pocket and not have it wrapped up in the transfer, players may think twice before wanting or getting shopped around, especially when you see what Salahs agent would make on his percentage of any transfer.

I think it shows our weakness by not having a quality forward to bring on. Origi isn't it. my mate was screaming for them to have a defender on the post for Messi's free kick.

I was basing my opinion on 10 games not 1 Ed001, but thanks for your opinion and reply any way.

{Ed001's Note - and I was talking about over the course of his career, it is why the scouts all watched him but no one went for him other than Newcastle.}

Feel bad for Ward. Klopp should of let him go back to Huddersfield and get some premiership experience, giving the lad the very odd run out isn't doing him any favors.

I think this is the best quote regarding the Mo situation. 'Salah must decide if he wants icon status - or money' He has hero status now, stay and on to the the next level? Top 3 highest current players in the league are CR7 500k (over paid waste of time and space, no one is worth that amount) KVB 400k (Maybe the equivalent but don't think anyone worth that amount) the and Lukaku 350k (Way over paid) .

I was very fortunate to grow up watching players like Greaves, Stjohn, Best, Law etc. Different generation of players performing on what today would be called Sunday park pitches. My dad took me to lots of games and he always said Greaves was one of the greatest strikers he ever saw play, with the exception of Duncan Edwards who sadly never reached his potential.
RIP Greavsie.

Take the money and spend it on Bissouma instead, a much better investment.
