Just seen Jay Riley tweet something a few hours back. He is apparantly the guy with THE inside info. He appear quite often on Redmen Tv. He said that he hadheard nothing regarding Kovacic, also the main journo's never reported anything. Therefore credit to the Ed who called it that the fee has been agreed. Reports only now surfacing about the deal. Keep up the good work Eds

1.) 12 Jun 2015 19:09:11
It has been reported that a 16.6m deal had been struck earlier in the day.

2.) 12 Jun 2015 21:04:17
Vinny o'conner at sly sports is saying "he's been told Liverpool have no interest and are not interested in signing kovacic"
Eds?

{Ed001's Note - he is clueless and wrong as usual. Maybe he wants to make up more lies about the Babelcopter instead?}

3.) 12 Jun 2015 21:55:28
Jay Riley is a fan and nothing more. Hr has a day job and is not even a journalist. I wouldn't put too much weight behind anything he says.

4.) 13 Jun 2015 06:44:28
Jay Riley is an absolute ****, sorry for the French ED but he's one jumped up little bitch, dare to question him or even give you're opinion and your toast, his mate Graeme Kelly is a gentleman and does have good sources within the club.

German football expert Raf Honigstein: There's a special kind of atmosphere in the city.It would be very hard for Klopp to turn #LFC down. Interesting

1.) 29 Apr 2015 20:40:43
So Rodgers is staying then!!!

2.) 29 Apr 2015 21:36:41
FSG keep things very close to their chests, we have no idea who has been sounded out or not. So don't panic 😃

3.) 29 Apr 2015 22:49:46
I pray that we get Klopp every day.

4.) 30 Apr 2015 05:07:12
He also said he expects BR to be given another season so don't get too excited

5.) 30 Apr 2015 07:52:44
The general feeling in the media may be that Rodgers is safe, but just remember that was the general feeling about Moyes in the media until shortly before he was sacked too. The media don't have a clue what FSG are thinking.

{Ed001's Note - the media want Rodgers to say because they can use his comments for stories so easily. The guy spouts so much rubbish that it makes their job easy. They have no idea what is happening at the club, most do not even know which person is deciding.}

6.) 30 Apr 2015 09:18:38
They also love British managers and treat them better than foreigners

7.) 29 Apr 2015 22:54:02
I suspect if he doesn't get Bayern or Man City offering him a role, he'd be seriously tempted this summer if FSG gave him a budget or 40mln+ (or 75mln+ if we can sell Sterling) to strengthen the side. Would love to see him come in.

{Ed002's Note - Why make up these stupid numbers? Liverpool need to balance the books - they are constantly abusing FFP and continue to be under scrutiny.}

31 Mar 2015 20:11:37
I might not the greatest info, but I'm hearing from a close and reliable friend from Liverpool, that we are in the beginning stages of talks with an agent called Dirk Hebel who works for SportsTotal. He is not allowed to specify which player precisely, however because agents represent such a vast amount of players he can confirm what agent we speaking to.

Umaga_SA

1.) 31 Mar 2015 22:53:15
That's Reus confirmed then!

2.) 01 Apr 2015 22:25:59
Most likely Sascha Riether

3.) 03 Apr 2015 09:55:31
Good to know. So we'll have Reus, Kevin Trapp & Fabian Schär all wrapped up in no time. Happy with that for starters. :)

Hello eds.
I know Brendan Rodgers has been to Italy lately, to watch a couple of players. We've been linked a lot with Pjanic however his Roma teammate Nainggolan seems to have caught my eye. I dare say it but his tackling ability is out of this world, might even be on par with Mascherano. A down side thought is that he is big built (Anderson like) and looks a bit slow, but he is renowned to have lung bursting runs forward. A midfield of him and Can would certainly be powerful. Eds do u think our interest is serious?
Thanks keep up the good work with this amazing site :)

Umaga_SA

{Ed002's Note - Rodgers did not watch any players in Italy. I would certainly not hold my breath over Nainggolan.}

1.) 20 Feb 2015 11:22:01
What exactly did rodgers do in italy?

2.) 24 Feb 2015 04:05:22
He was at the Roma game apparently.

{Ed001's Note - the Roma game that wasn't taking place while he was there!}

Haven't posted for a long time, but a daily reader.
. I really don't get this hate shown to Shaqiri! Sure he might have some attitude problems but noways will Klopp allow it to affect the team moral or the dressing room environment. Klopp already showed will Sakho how ruthless he can be towards anyone who wants to be the so called Alphamale of the dressing room.
I for one hope we sign him, considering the price and everything . He certainly has tricks in his locker to wow the Anfield crowd.

1.) 07 Jun 2018 11:33:03
some of the same crap was spouted towards mane before he signed and robertson and Ox as well
sad but true
it might be crap but if he does sign and then goes on to become a fave like those players those same posters will be the first to be singing his praises
I rate him on ability much higher then Adam L.

2.) 07 Jun 2018 12:31:32
Umaga if klopp has been ruthless as you suggest with player's like Sakho, then it kind of doesn't make sense for him to bring someone in with well known attitude problems.

3.) 07 Jun 2018 12:58:59
Klopp has mentioned numerous times before that he has talks with players before he signs them. His attitude issues would probably be something brought up. So klopp will assess him and if Klopp is happy then their really shouldn't be an issue of Shaqiri causing any problems later on.

It was only a few years back when Ola Toivanan thought he was too big of a player to join us. Now's he scoring goals for Sunderland u/ 21's against Everton u/ 21's.
What a guy!

Umaga_SA

1.) 08 Mar 2016 00:03:54
He wasn't that good anyway as his career has now found him at the Sunderland U-21's. Dodged a bullet there, mate.

"After a discussion he asked to add another bidder to the list: "[There was] a young man from the Middle East whom I met with a number of times who, as he was making an offer, his father died and the family estate went into probate and it was tied up and they didn't get out until after.

"[He] was an avid fan [who] has his own beautifully equipped tent, which I saw, that had a channel exclusively for Liverpool and an appointment every Monday with a psychiatrist if Liverpool lost, and he was from one of the wealthiest families in the world and he was dead serious, and then his father passed away. "

Part of the Daily Mirrors article. Wonder how true it is.

A fan in the Middle East who watches every single game who needs psychiatric help?
Can only be our very own ed001 lol.

{Ed001's Note - sadly I am not from one of the wealthiest families in the world. The tent and psychiatric help does sound like me though.....}

Hey eds.
Just an idea, what about making King Kenny part of the back room staff? He has invaluable experience and he knows the club inside out

Umaga_SA

1.) 19 Jun 2015 07:43:48
Seriously. Even after last times experience?? King is completey fine in the role he is currently in

Weird that Spurs are trying offload Dembele since they are already short in that area of the pitch.

{Ed001's Note - it is about lowering the wage bill.}

The club offered him a 2 year deal. he wanted a 3 year year one. We weren't going to let a young Danish lad dictate to the club. so both parties went sepeerate ways.
