Don't shoot the messenger but I've heard through a few sources that Klopp is angered by the Caicedo and Lavia situation and wants our next deal wrapped up quietly and without fuss, not a public monstrosity like these 2 deals.
Expect us to go all in for Florentino Luis who I believe has a very high release clause around 100m.
That'll be it for our transfer dealings but personally I'd be happy with Luis, he doesn't have PL experience but he looks absolutely class.

Skezza11

1.) 13 Aug 2023 08:39:22
I think we all want that too.

That’s not a difficult message to read.

Thanks.

2.) 13 Aug 2023 08:39:34
Klopp will not be angered when all there is "Chlesea will tabled an offer, Chelse will push for, Chelsea finalising offer, Chelsea blah blah. " Caiciedo is coming.

3.) 13 Aug 2023 08:45:54
3rd day now and still nothing. Never seen anything like it.

4.) 13 Aug 2023 08:59:53
We didn’t think Lavia was worth the asking price Southampton quoted and then we acted fast with Caicedo and the club did everything in their power to sign him and agreed a deal with Brighton only for Chelsea to come again after the deadline set by Brighton and the player preferring that move, don’t think we’ve done a lot wrong personally.

5.) 13 Aug 2023 09:25:56
I read that FSG are here to persuade Klopp to stay as initially he wanted to leave at the end of this season but now he wants to go immediately unless he gets the support, hence the Caicedo bid.

6.) 13 Aug 2023 09:26:05
With the clubs effort on Moises. It was late. The club were trying to negotiate with a player who had made his choice a long time ago.

7.) 13 Aug 2023 09:15:28
Very disappointing few weeks if we fail to get either of our first two DM targets and it’s not looking likely. Not great for whoever comes in now either, clearly low down on our list of priorities.

8.) 13 Aug 2023 09:37:59
Maybe I'm wrong, but from what I have read, LFC were given the impression that if they bid for Caceido he would be open for the move, so they did. Caceido then decided he wanted to stick with Chelsea. Not seeing an issue.

LFC bid up to what they thing Lavia is worth and no more. Not seeing an issue.

Pundits who let's be fair never actually excelled at being managers calling us embarrassing for bidding and trying to sign good players. Players like any employee are allowed free will to choose where they go. That's like Tesco and Waitrose going after the same employee but them choosing Tesco, the only difference is the supermarkets or journalists wouldn't plaster it over social media.

9.) 13 Aug 2023 09:47:02
Kwkhong, that's a good rumour, I like that one.

10.) 13 Aug 2023 09:53:18
Speculation of course Ed002, but do you think it will take full release clause to get Florentino out of Benfica?

For me he is far more risk than Caicedo hence I would expect Liverpool would not pay 100m. Don't get me wrong. I like him from the little I ve seen but I'd be looking closer to the 60/ 70 million mark for him.

With all these crazy prices, perhaps we should go back and match Chelsea's Lavia price. I do like that we don't see any statements/ noise out of him this window. Seems like he has a good head on his shoulders. Let's see on that front I guess but interested in you thoughthts on what Florentino would likely cost. Fully realise it would be merely educated speculation on your part.

{Ed002's Note - Benfica have no interest in selling Florentino Luis unless his buy out clause is met or nearly matched - and that was the message given to another Premier League side who were interested. The release clause is €120M.}

11.) 13 Aug 2023 10:03:24
I can see Klopp replacing Ancelotti next season after this pantomine.

12.) 13 Aug 2023 10:04:53
RedA you're right, they'll probably be poor distant choices. Much like salah, who was the third choice after Gotze and Brandt.

13.) 13 Aug 2023 10:06:26
well, the only Liverpool person I’ve seen say anything publicly about our bid for Caicedo is Klopp.

14.) 13 Aug 2023 10:48:31
another rumours klopp leaving, Jesus some people fall for it every time, a rumour from twitter.

15.) 13 Aug 2023 11:11:05
To be fair to Klopp he only said a deal had been agreed with Brighton, but added we’re not interested in a deal we want the player. So I think he knew he was going to get asked about it and gave an honest answer, one which actually pretty much covered all the bases. If I was Klopp I would have steam coming out of my ears with the MC camp as there’s no way we would have bid without checking he was interested in the move.

{Ed002's Note - This is pretty much business as usual - you are making a huge deal about a player opting for another club.}

16.) 13 Aug 2023 12:18:34
Klopp has said he is going to take a year’s sabbatical when his current contract ends and then he’ll assess the situation. His comments are a matter of public record.

17.) 13 Aug 2023 12:20:04
I have always loved LFC, but i try not to be blind about the fact that over recent years, at least, we have been able to bully smaller clubs and while i am frustrated we seem to be dicking around in the transfer market, its kind of nice to see a smaller club stick to their demands, likely due partly to being treated with less respect than they should have by clubs like LFC previously. I do hope we get a couple of players in quickly though, but if we don't, give the young guns more of a run out.

18.) 13 Aug 2023 13:36:56
My god people like to dramatise everything. I'm sure Klopp is annoyed at the whole media circus, but he's well aware it's just part of the show that is football, and isn't against using it himself if suits. We tried to sign a player, stumped up the fee, the player said sorry I have my heart set on another team. Fair enough. I don't know why Klopp would have any reason to be angry with anyone within the club. He runs the club.

19.) 13 Aug 2023 14:11:50
Am I the only person who isn’t completely pessimistic about this? Of course it would have been good if Caicedo come in, but we were late to the table with this one. It’s hardly a saga or whatever the media are reporting it as with Lavia, we valued him at a certain amount and were in negotiations. We haven’t been a “shambles” or a “pantomime” and Caicedo is not a mercenary for wanting to go to a club that has been trying to sign him since May. People need to get over themselves and stop reading the media and believing stuff on twitter. It’s hardly a trusted source, it’s just silly people’s opinions.

20.) 13 Aug 2023 23:44:01
Colin - I'm with you, but typically not pessimistic about most things lol. Some of the fanbase have taken themselves back to pre-FSG times. I get that, but for me we are in a far stronger position to bounce back from a season like last than we have at that time.

I like where we're at and am looking forward to see whoever it is we bring in to the club before deadline. if it's no one, then let's go on and smash it with who we have. We brought on two thoroughbreds in Elliot and Jones today and we didn't have Baj or thiago on the bench. So with that base, we can only build on it and get better and I won't be wasting energy getting depressed until new players come in!

27 Jul 2023 07:09:56
Seen a report linking Liverpool with Piero Hincapie from Leverkusen.
I believe the last comment on him stated Liverpool were not interested (other PL clubs were) .
Not sure if this is still the case now other targets, namely Colwill, seem less attainable?

Skezza11

{Ed002's Note - Someone is teasing you about PH I am afraid.}

Question for the Eds

When we sign Mbappe, Valverde and Gvardiol do you think we'll need to sell Rhys Williams and Maybe Nat Phillips to free up the relevant funds?

Skezza11

1.) 08 Jul 2023 15:29:13
It’ll definitely help with wages.

2.) 08 Jul 2023 17:10:51
The money we get for Rhys Williams should more than cover the fees paid for those 3 and also leave us some spare change to get Thuram.

3.) 08 Jul 2023 22:35:17
It’s already underway Rhys went on loan two weeks ago.

4.) 09 Jul 2023 15:03:31
I think it depends on if Pep Lijnders takes a pay cut, now he's getting book royalties.

5.) 09 Jul 2023 17:33:45
Sorry but these posts are getting painful. Constant tongue in cheek posts about getting mpabbe secretly hoping the Ed’s say we are really in for him. As a daily reader of the site it’s getting tiresome. As are the constant questions about the same people. I’ve been a regular lurker on the site, occasion poster for well over 10 years but it’s getting worse this window and I’m getting a little sick of the same old crap every day. Not hard to read through the last day or 2’s worth of posts before asking a question. No offence aimed at anyone in particular just starting to grate on me a little. The Mbappe joke was funny the first time!

6.) 09 Jul 2023 17:41:50
Tom27, you must be fun at parties but you do have a point. Its funnier that reporters are making up stories and get away with it.

7.) 09 Jul 2023 20:31:14
Tom27, all that humor flew right over your head. Comedy is clearly not your thing. Cheers, man.

8.) 09 Jul 2023 21:38:55
Comedy is funny the first time. You repeat the same joke over and over and it gets old fast. Honestly read through this page and the banter ones and you’ll see this joke numerous times. ‘Are we selling x and y to fund Mbappe’ ‘do you think he’ll go in the under 21s or a squad player’. Funnily enough I am actually a right laugh at parties. Been smashing it up in Crete on holiday the past few days and am the life and soul of the party! Haha.

9.) 09 Jul 2023 21:54:31
There was no humour in any of the posts. The op was ? correct. And some say we have the best fans in the world ?.

10.) 10 Jul 2023 09:35:38
Instagram generation fans find the same stuff funny over and over again.

Unfortunately, the success a few years ago attracted a bunch of them.

Let's hope a season in the Europa League gets rid of them.

11.) 10 Jul 2023 10:40:55
When I was younger I told my friends I was going to be a comedian and they laughed at me …. Well they aren’t laughing now (Bob Monkhouse)

A discourse on the theory of comedy, we aren’t laughing now eh?

26 Jun 2017 22:58:52
Keita wants to leave and Liverpool will have a bid of 68M + add ons accepted within a fortnight.

YNWA.

Skezza11

1.) 26 Jun 2017 23:35:59
Nostradamus?

2.) 26 Jun 2017 23:42:45
why no other teams after him and only Liverpool? Any obvious reason?

Why not Spurs, Juv, RM, Barcelona after him if he is so good.

Cheers.

3.) 27 Jun 2017 00:00:17
Got Saturday's winning lottery numbers as well while yer at it there Mystic Meg?

4.) 26 Jun 2017 23:53:53
Decent.

5.) 27 Jun 2017 00:20:29
I don't see it happening. Great if it does not the end of the world if it doesn't.

6.) 27 Jun 2017 00:27:37
Awesome Skezza, what's the lotto numbers next week?

7.) 27 Jun 2017 00:48:40
No bids have been placed for Ox and Keita.

8.) 27 Jun 2017 03:13:14
Because they don't need him £68m bad.

9.) 27 Jun 2017 06:07:20
Couple of general questions about the transfer process here. Apologies if done already. During the transfer window we all get a bit excited when we read these headlines; 'Liverppol bid £xxxm for player y' etc. How long is it taking these journos to get the information and how much time are the club investing into completing these deals. When I went to bed, no bids submitted for Ox or Keita, wake up and reports of bids. (10pm - 5am) Do they (whoever 'they' are) work round the clock until a deal is done? Work nights, get em drunk and try and get away with a lower offer? Are they in teams working shifts? My estimation is that the people involved in a transfer are normal people with families and need to go home to eat and sleep like we all do. I reckon the media are either getting info late or are fabricating stories for paper sales. (Probably the latter) .

{Ed001's Note - it is the latter usually. It is very very rare that bids go in. However it is not exciting enough for the tabloids to say that Liverpool phoned up to ask if X is available for transfer. That is not a story, but Liverpool putting in a bid for X sounds exciting, even if it is not true.}

10.) 27 Jun 2017 07:31:42
Ed1, may I ask how a deal is worked out after the initial contact please? For example, Liverpool have enquired about the availability of Player Y (for this case we'll assume they haven't tapped him up) . How would a fee be calculated from there? Is it as simple as finding a middle ground between what the buying club wish to pay and what the selling club wish to receive?

Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - not quite that simple, as there is also the details such as when the payments are received, in what amounts at a time, if there are add ons, potentially buy-back clauses and many other minor details too.}

11.) 27 Jun 2017 07:54:53
Maxlfc, Nostradamus is to become our chief scout 😁.

12.) 27 Jun 2017 08:41:14
I have also heard that our home kit next season will be Red and we'll be fielding 11 players for our first game.

13.) 27 Jun 2017 08:22:52
Thanks Ed1. Is it the minor details details that usually make the negotiations last so long or is it just the overall process?

{Ed001's Note - usually ironing out the details, though payment terms are not really minor.}

14.) 27 Jun 2017 09:36:25
11 players all in red Skezza? Now there's a scoop! We are playing with no keeper next season! Mind you some would say we've had no keeper for the last 4 years. ;-)

15.) 28 Jun 2017 16:36:34
Tbf to skezza lallanas banana he said wed play in red and have 11 players on the field, not 11 players in red 🤣😉.

Thanks to all the Eds for your insight over the past few (absolutely mental) weeks during one of the weirdest and definitely busiest transfer windows I've ever seen.
Time for a bit of a break now till Jan I hope. Although I guess things will still be a bit frantic over the next week with the Saudi window still open another week. How many more bids do we reckon they'll throw in for Mo.?
I wonder if Thiago is still in their sights?
Also I imagine a few more big bids flying around for players yet to have been linked.

Skezza11

1.) 02 Sep 2023 09:34:41
Highest ever English spending transfer window it was with 2.44 billion spent.

We were the 6th highest spenders with no prizes for who were the highest.

2.) 02 Sep 2023 10:23:51
Luton or Bournemouth by any chance JK.

3.) 02 Sep 2023 10:42:28
Kew ??

Amazingly mate Bournemouth were 9th.

4.) 03 Sep 2023 06:26:07
I like a nice stat, even if it means nothing.

30 Aug 2023 18:02:21
Fab took a long time to settle, Endo has genuinely looked better than Fab when he first started, Fab looked lost and totally out of his depth. Endo will be a totally different player when he learns the role

Bajcetic will be a superstar ina year why but an overpriced blocker for him?

Get Andre in Jan who can fill in at #6 and replace Thiago next summer, simple.

Skezza11

1.) 30 Aug 2023 18:27:32
If we got Andre in Jan, that would be Thiago's replacement.

2.) 30 Aug 2023 18:38:41
Andre or Doucoure would be great signings and I'd be happy to wait for them. Both can play in the holding role or further forward, both are defensively minded. Gravenberch is great at neither and would be a complete waste of time. If he's throwing a strop with being fourth choice at a giant like Bayern, imagine what he'll be like when he's seventh choice at Liverpool?

21 Aug 2023 08:08:08
James Pearce saying there won't be another #6 this summer, might mean Andre in Jan and a RB to replace Trent? A CB. Also probs Gravenberch as he's more of an #8?

Skezza11

1.) 21 Aug 2023 10:11:50
@Skezza - why do we need another RB? We have Bradley and Gomez who do and can play RB respectively.

2.) 21 Aug 2023 11:46:14
Skezza11 if you still think this guy who know nothing about anything related to our transfer business, is reliable then, that's on you, man. I don't listen nor care about what he and others have to say about LFC cos they know for the most part as much as you and I do if not even less than that due to the great work the Ed's do on here.

Also we essentially have 4 RB's on the books with Ramsay, Gomez, Bradley and Trent. Why on this green earth would we need a 5th one? Seriously, this is too easy.

3.) 21 Aug 2023 13:26:55
RB thoughts are purely if we are not getting a #6 Trent may be used there more often. I'd personally be happy with Gomez at RB and trying Ramsay whenever possible. It does then leave us pretty thin at CB.
I feel like another versatile defender who can play across the whole backline would be helpful, but then again this isn't Football Manager is it.

4.) 21 Aug 2023 13:27:52
And when I say Ramsay I mean Bradley. Ramsay is on loan, although I now hear he's injured for 2 months which is gutting for him.

5.) 21 Aug 2023 15:15:49
Skezza11, we have 4 RB's on the books whether o n loan, injured or fit and ready to play for the lub, end of. All the other stuff is just semantics. We will look for other options in midfield which we are doing right now.

As for Pearce, you and I know more about LFC's transfers than James Pearce. That shows how much he knows which is virtually nothing.

6.) 21 Aug 2023 15:32:16
We all have our opinions, but personally, I'm fine with Bajcetic as the back-up to Endo. Southampton played Lavia for a full season and we were ready to sink in 60M on him. He might be better than Bajcetic at least, at this stage of their development, but someone gave him a chance to play week in week out. Endo has a fine injury record, so it's unlikely Bajcetic will play week in week out, but I believe it's okay to have Bajcetic be his back up for this first half of the season at the very least. Sometimes, the new signings don't work out as expected. Let's try to promote within whenever possible and give the kids a chance if they have the potential to make the grade.
YNWA.

11 Aug 2023 07:27:04
People saying the Caicedo deal puts an end to Trent's midfield ambitions, I think the opposite.

Caicedo is that good he can be on a few positions at once, he's got the ability to drive the team forward, Trent can sit deeper and ping balls to our attackers, Moises can also cover at RB if Trent goes AWOL.

I think Trent will continue in the Hybrid role which will work a lot better with someone as brilliant at Moises covering.

Skezza11

1.) 11 Aug 2023 08:06:32
He will do the dirty work for Trent / Thiago in there. I don't know how klopp plans to use him.

2.) 11 Aug 2023 08:28:56
Trent plays the inverted RB role, Caicedo plays DM and covers Trent when we are getting countered if Trent is to far away! Trent then covers Caicedos DM position, it really is that simple.

21 Jul 2023 23:20:34
I'm drunk but I think Arsenal might sneak the league this year, we're rebuilding massively and it's a ridiculous ask to expect us to get close (if we do we should be overjoyed and not just content, let's not have that man utd 2000s mentality) .

City losing gundog and b Silva is going to make them weaker no matter who they sign imo, utd are just rubbish, Newcastle. Why am I even writing Newcastle? Spurs, Chelsea they'll be lucky to get top 4 (sorry Ed002)

Arsenal have done very good business and have clearly strengthened. CL priorities might take their toll, if they do and our new midfield hits the ground running, maybe.

Skezza11

1.) 22 Jul 2023 01:12:07
Arsenal look good on paper. They have spent big money and the majority of arsenal fans i know expectations are high. Both Liverpool and Chelsea were terrible last season and I can't see that being the case again. I Personally think arsenal and Newcastle will struggle for top four mainly because of Europe but im drunk too so il tell you something totally different tomorrow.

2.) 22 Jul 2023 01:18:50
Current-era Arsenal couldn't win the league with an anti-matter powered league winning device.

3.) 22 Jul 2023 08:36:45
If Saliba didn’t pick up the injury at the end of the last season that kept him out for the last few weeks Arsenal would have been an awful lot close to City than they did.

Arteta did very well and the experience they had of getting close will stand them in good stead if they get to the same position again.

They’ve bought well too. Rice is good and a couple of mates of mine who live in Holland rate Timber. Havertz seems like a waste of space to me - unless he just suffered from his confidence being shot with the lack of a plan from the procession of managers down at the Bridge. Overall they have strengthened.

I think Arsenal will go close again this season.

4.) 22 Jul 2023 09:15:19
For me as it stands United look the weaker of the six vying for top four this season.

5.) 22 Jul 2023 09:43:51
I think Newcastle will struggle to stay in the top 4 as they haven’t got the biggest squad and they aren’t used to playing in Europe midweek.

I think Chelsea will be a lot stronger than last season and will challenge top 4 with us and Utd with arsenal and City battling for the title.

My surprise package for the season are Villa. They have done some good business there and in Emery have a very good manager.

6.) 22 Jul 2023 09:56:45
I’d say City look a bit weaker with Gundogan and if Silva leaves a lot depends on KDB staying fit, which is 50/ 50.

I think Arsenal look a bit stronger with Rice and Timber, although buying Havertz is an odd one. If Saliba gets any better and stays fit ….

I’d say they are the two best placed at the minute.

Then I think, in no particular order, us, Chelsea, United and possibly Spurs who will be different under Postecoglu, provided Levy let's him get back n with the job. You could possibly include Newcastle but they were ‘patchy’ last season and with the extra CL games and a bit more pressure to do better year n year they might struggle.

Of course there is a while to go in the transfer window so things might change. A couple of good mids and a good defender for us and we get closer to Arsenal and City. It’ll be interesting to see where everyone is when the window closes. If we sign Lavia, Kimmich and Inacio I’d be happy.

7.) 22 Jul 2023 10:13:54
Isn't it top 5 this season for CL due to the new league format and EPL clubs doing well in Europe over the past 3 seasons.

8.) 22 Jul 2023 10:21:37
Surprised to read earlier we actually took more league points in 2023 than Arsenal. I think it'll be us and City in the top two spots this year.

9.) 22 Jul 2023 10:41:57
Arsenal had their chance last season.
This season they will struggle more.

It’s City’s again.

10.) 22 Jul 2023 11:26:57
OP, you said it yourself. You're drunk, lol.

All jokes aside, I think like Ron Kreague said, Arsenal screwed up last season and frankly, I do not see them winning it this coming season. When we had our chance, we took it even tho we needed two bites at it and our team was way better than this Arsenal one by a mile, Rice and Timber notwithstanding.

Also, Rice is a talent and clearly strengthened them BUT someone still needs to explapin to me what the point of the Havertz signing is cos I don't get that one esp. at 65m? Timber? I don't rate him at all but that's just me.

Moreover, Arteta has shown his incompetence and inexperience time and again and we know he has issues with playing 3 times a week which is what is headed their way with CL footie. Arteta for now, ain't that guy and Arsenal ain't that team yet. Don't be surprised if we finish ahead of them next season. For me, it's City until things change.

11.) 22 Jul 2023 12:16:16
I think it's going to be a slug off this year. Everyone is gunna weigh in with no runaway team.

12.) 22 Jul 2023 12:43:44
I don’t see Arsenal as title winners this season, they have strengthened a bit in Declan Rice but to be honest I’m not a massive fan of Rice and think he is WAY overpriced, if he wasn’t English then there is no way he transfers for over 60m! Havertz is an odd signing for Arsenal and the Jury is well and truely out on him. Arsenal will be in the top 4 mix no doubt but I just don’t see a winners mentality in the squad or manager and think they come up short again.

Utd had somewhat of a resurgence last year under ten hag who managed the squad well and addressed there apparent dressing room issues however there squad is messy and not at the level to challenge in particular midfield and attack, in the absence of some major signings ( Kane) I predict struggles for Utd this season and think they miss out on top 4.

Tottenham - NOT A HOPE of top 4 if they loose Kane! A bad start to the season sees the manager gone by Xmas.

Chelsea- a complete unknown but we know what you get from a Poch team, a few more signings will come in like Caicedo which will make a huge difference- bit of a wildcard this season but top 4 is well within there reach and could potentially be vying for 2nd place if they stay injury free as they have no other distractions

City- a lot being made of there outgoings and how this will effect them however Pep does this so well and will get complete backing from the board to replace any outgoings with top talent. Even without anymore reinforcements they would still be arguably favourites so my fear is they strengthen before the window closes and win this year at a canter.

Liverpool- this will likely be a transitional season with the wholesale changes made to our midfield which is less than ideal. Incomings so far have been spot on and the next 2/ 3 additions could be crucial to where we end up at the end of the season. Top 4 is a must and I think we will achieve that but I don’t see a title race for us- I do think we will win the Europa League.

13.) 22 Jul 2023 12:48:26
Liverpool getting into the the top four will depend on who else we sign. With Hendo and Fab potentially leaving in the coming days I feel we need top talent to replace them. I’m not convinced by Lavia but hope to be proved wrong. This coincides with another CB also.

Arsenal won't be in top4. All their signings are tosh and i don't see Saka and odegaard having the same season and as of today They still don't have a striker.
No team has won the league without a 25 30 goal striker.

15.) 22 Jul 2023 13:33:05
You don’t want the mentality of United winning the league 6 times between 2000-2009 then Skezza? Must be drunk as you say ?.

16.) 22 Jul 2023 14:26:31
Haha this discussion is great, I was drunk last night lol, my reasons for arsenal being there or there abouts is:
All their players are young and only getting better with more experience. I think Timber and Rice are great signings (not so much Havertz but Arteta will probably play him in an attacking midfield role not CF which is his best position) . He is very hateable though.
I do also feel they are a CB injury away from going totally to pot so it'll be Interesting how CL effects them.

Can't actually wait for the new season to see what/ how our team lines up. Exciting times with so much change in the league (feels like a changing of the guard with so many established PL players departing)

Also someone mentioned 5 teams qualify for CL this year, that's correct - new format to the CL coming next year I believe.

No chance imo.

{Ed014's Note - loving this thread! ???

We are going to win it all. Everything. ??.

{Ed025's Note - big shout that ArAy..

It’s hard to tell, I think Arsenal have been very smart in the window after a decent season, we know personally that it’s hard to keep up with this city team.

I think we have also had a decent window so far we wanted midfielders and we’ve got two so far, a solid CB and a intelligent holding mid who’s strong in the tackle and a good interceptor (basically a peak Fabinho) and we could also challenge.

20.) 22 Jul 2023 16:52:26
Ed025, no other way to live, is there? All in or all out ?.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely mate..

Didn’t City win the league playing without a striker 2 seasons ago?

Some Liverpool fans will tell you we should sell Allison mate, In other words some have zero football intelligence.

Andre will be coming in Jan and played as a #6 to replace Endo that is almost a guarantee.
We just need to still be in the hunt come Jan.

Just play him in CM for god sake he's already one of the best CMs in the business after a few games there.
Give Gomez a run at RB and play Bradley there as many times as we can get away with.
It's that simple.
I love Klopp but his stubbornness on this is frustrating.

I doubt that Fbart, Endo is a lot older than Mini and has been Captain of a club in Germany for years. The culture in Germany is not too dissimilar to the UK plus Klopp is German. I don't expect a big culture shock for Endo at all.

Agree completely, you can be hyper competitive and not be a horrible c*nt.
There's absolutely no need to abuse someone in their day job under any circumstances especially when you're on TV being watched by millions of kids around the world.
Learn to channel your aggression/ competitiveness on the pitch not boil over at an official.

I remember seeing Man Utd fans go through this same stage after their massive success in the 90s. They stopped winning everything and all the new glory hunting fans were always negative, even after a 1-0 they occasionally booed because they were used to such huge heights.
I feared this may happen to Liverpool after having all this success and it's slowly coming true.

And when I say Ramsay I mean Bradley. Ramsay is on loan, although I now hear he's injured for 2 months which is gutting for him.
