Does anyone know roughly when we should be expecting the verdict from the Hillsborough inquest to come? i'm sure I read way back in March that it could be close to christmas?

If we don't get Sanchez (which is looking less likely by the day) heres what I think we should do with the 80mil we receive. Unfortunately this idea isn't gathered from rumours, more just my personal preference based on things nobody has really commented on before to bring a different look at things.

Sturridge will be our main man next season, no doubt about that. Sterling will continue to play with hopefully the back up of Jordan Ibe. How about trying to sign Reus with the money we get (after all the money we get is enough to sign nearly any player should they want to come here like). A front three of Reus Sturridge and Sterling, how quick would that be!

I would then try and sign Hummels or Varane to partners Sakho at CB. And use the remaining money to meet Sevillas demands for Moreno, and to get Origi (and send him back on loan as reported). I think that could be quite smart buisness and solve many of our problems.

Again just purely hypothetical and more Football Manager based haha, but why not when we will have enough money to do so!

After last nights postings about Ayre meeting Barca officials in London today, I am now awaiting the posts and pictures that Ian Ayre has infact been seen on his motorbike driving over the Pyrenees!

I think this is a great piece of buisness! Think about it, now we are back in the Champions League we NEED a bigger squad, if you play Gerrard and Hendo in the CL game on a Wed night and have a game on the Saturday that one of them may not be 100% for, we now have an England international, former club captain and last seasons team of the season player to come in and play that weekends PL game instead of someone like Luis Alberto. Now ok you may expect players to be able to play 2 games a week, but we are now starting to get this security in place. Last season a lot of peopke where worried that if we got a couple of injuries and/or suspensions then we would be stuck, like when Hendo was suspended we sure missed him! Now we are starting to get a good squad together, prices may be high but you can't put a price on winning the league (unless you are Man City of course!) Last season we had Gerrard, Hendo, Lucas, Allen and Alberto for CMs, let's be honest there are only 2 there who are good enough to start every week, Lucas and Allen are very good squad players, but now we have 3 to pick from who can start every week! Exciting times await

For those who are not watching this Suarez news break on ssn, they are now just saying that FIFA are unsure if the administrative ban will include banning him from any potential transfers, FIFA are having to check with their lawyers. This is a disgrace, I agree with the long ban and he needs to be punished, but its a disgrace how we are getting punished so much here, we may not be able to play him OR sell him now, so its a massive cost to Liverpool which I find totally unfair, yes its Suarez' fault and we only have him to blame but we may now lose points and money because of this, feeling very hard done by as a club!
