Not trying to turn this into an Eds vs Macca. We’re all grateful for the info that both are able to provide at the time of knowing. Just feel that some posters need to get out of the mindset of Macca being the be-all and end-all of transfer information.

I wish people would stop taking things macca says as gospel. Macca is there for us 3-4 days a year and isn’t as reliable as he used to be. The Eds are here every day with invaluable info on transfers and others going on most of us wouldn’t begin to think about let alone understand, and I can’t remember them being wrong on a thing.

Heard the same. Does anyone know what his strengths are or what he’ll bring to the coaching setup? I know little about what’s he did through the youth teams.

Ed, what are your thoughts on contracts in modern day football?
For every player that signs a long-term contract and stays, it’s seems as though someone signs and leaves after 12 months. Not suggesting Bobby is leaving, I just don’t get as excited over new contracts as some others do!
{Ed001's Note - I don't tend to take any notice of them either. The only thing they do is either act as a problem when trying to offload someone or ensure you get a decent fee when someone you don't want to lose moves on.}

Eds, this unprofessionalism is clearly something that plagued Liverpool over recent years. Is it something klopp has been guilty of himself in previous seasons too?
