Slow but exciting start to the season!

What are your thoughts on Dele Alli? At 18 years old, he seems a great prospect. 6ft2, scoring 1 in 4 games (pretty impressive for a CM in the championship), English and a Liverpool fan. Do you see us making an effort to bring him in as a potential replacement for Lucas (and long term maybe for Gerrard) either in January or summer? Or will his price have rocketed now he has signed a new contract?

Have you heard anything reliable on the speculation linking us with Reus, Benzema and Turan? Is this just imaginative journalism or are you aware of any genuine interest?

Shame we've not heard any more on the Rojo front- I thought he was really impressive at the World Cup.

Interesting to see that Menez is out of contract and set to leave PSG in the summer. At 26 years old, an experienced French international, a versatile, pacy attacker and available on a free, do you see him as a viable target for Liverpool?

{Ed002's Note - Inter showed some interest in Menez over last summer but were put off by an injury. He has said that he would like a return to Monaco but they are not showing any interest. There has been serious interest from elsewhere including Fiorentina, Bayer Leverkusen, Galatasaray, Juventus and Milan. I would not totally rule out interest from Liverpool, but they have not approached the player, his agent or the club at this time. There were discussions over a new contract but I suspect PSG are happy to let him move on.}

Any ideas on how far Flanagan is from being fit? He'll have a big part to play this year I feel, particularly if Clyne or Moreno picks up an injury.

There was a post on the official site a few days ago - he's training but using non pressure scenarios - i think its probably 2 months still off of returning to the team.

Gomez can cover both positions.

Does Kolo Toure signing a new contract mean we won't be targeting reinforcements at centre back this summer? Will we be seeing the likes of Ilori and Wisdom getting a chance rather than going after players such as Alderweireld?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has Toure, Jones, Paez, Lovren, Sakho, Skrtel and can't get rid of Ilori and it looks like they will keep him. Coates has all but gone. Liverpool has shown no interest in Alderweireld and it hardly seems a priority.}

My understanding of 'can't get rid' means Skirtel is leaving and so Ilori will now stay and get a chance, along with Wisdom.

I'm sure the Ed means can't get rid of Ilori (for our asking price, I'm presuming)

However (as has been explained) things may have changed.

Do you have an idea of when we can expect to see those players who are/have been injured back and playing? I.E. Lallana, Markovic, Flanagan, Enrique.

I've tried the search function, but not found anything which answers this question.
