Just wondering why are we not using sinclair. Klopp seems to give some of the young ones a good chance to be around the first team but he's one that hasn't. Also what about teixeira? Thanks.

Maybe Klopp's not overly impressed with his skill or attitude. I want him to get his chance but I have complete faith, maybe Sinclair still wants to leave?

because we have benteke, origi and even firmino who can play upfront. then we have lallana, coutinho, firmino, milner who are fighting for the same spot. where as we only have moreno and clyne as full back.
tex and sinclair may get his chances in the 2nd half of the season.

Origi has played two of the last maybe 8 or so, he deserves a chance too. Benteke was on the bench in case we needed a goal.

Ok cheers lads my post wasnt saying they should be playing but maybe involved. Teixeira played really well against bournemouth then seems to of fizzled out. Sinclair i think would fit into how we play, A mini sturridge. But could well be his attitude.

What is wrong with people this is the first game klop has lost 😂 Chill out it happens. In my opinion we still looked better then we did and things are on the up, he has the same players rodgers had and i think people have forgotten then a few weeks in.
The biggest problem we have is klop is the only one who believes we can win. Leaving the game after palace got there second There is still a good 10mins togo, show faith and believe and let the players know we believe. YNWA.

When you have 22 chances and can only score once in 95 minutes, you're not going to win a lot of games.

Was at he game, the atmosphere in general and play has improved! Looked better and although has be a common theme of creating and not scoring, give the man time!
Hope the fans get behind him and the team, but everyone is expected an instant fix! Have said we have a good team, but also very unbalanced! Give Klopp till next season to actually implement his ideas before you walk out early or blame the team.
End of the day he has taken a good squad which he even said isn't as bad as everyone thinks, but is still a squad built by erratic and unplanned spending. Think it will take 2-3 transfer windows to move on players that don't suit the team, bring in players that do and get academy players bedded.
Is a shame because with Chelsea falling off would be a great season to nip 4th but sadly see Tottenham getting it. because they have given a good manager time to build a team, not just got someone in and thrown their toys out the pram because he hasn't turned water to wine.

And its people like u that clearly are the problem. We are atleast creating the chances we are atleast attacking the opposition goal. Yes benteke should of scored today but like klop says we need the belief. Confidence is massive and a key to success and unfortunately that won't come over night.

Not too worried about our first loss. If we are going to develop into a title winning team we need to understand our flaws when we lose and eradicate them. Winning matches, although more enjoyable, does not reveal areas which need improvement, as losing matches does. This was always going to be a long term project with Klopp. If, on the other hand, we keep repeating errors and not learning from our mistakes, then and only then would i be concerned. I think Klopp has the wherewithal to understand this, and i for one have the patience and faith to support him and the team as they grow. Onwards and upwards the mighty reds.

All great points, lads! We should be at three wins in a row now in the league now under Klopp but for the individual errors due to a lack of confidence, that is killing us. Still too early to say who will get fourth as there are TWENTY SIX games left 76 points to play for. We may not get it but I know we will give it a real go, Klopp makes no excuses and wants to win every game he plays. That's great to see.

that buzz is in the air is back. Klopp has given everyone including the players the belief we can be better and we will be better. Today was "HAVE THAT" we scored more then 1 goal we conceded in the first 5mins and instead of heads dropping we was on it pressing hard and fast. I love the passion being showed by klopp its infectious ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜.

Ok is it just me or does anyone else think balotelli and benteke are the same type of players. I think we played balo completely wrong and i can't see how benteke will be any different. Surly we could spend the 30 mill abit better. I would much rather charlie austin for the price. Is there anyone else who might be an option

Benteke has more movement than Mario.
He puts himself about more when he feels like it.
Similar, but Mario waits to be presented with the ball.

Ibdont think benteke will complain about training because it's too cold and or post pictures of himself with a thermometer to show he had a cold . Benteke bully's defences and scores goals to be fair . Wins aerial duels and is not as bad as most think .

Benteke is more of a ordinary football player rather than a maverick so you won't get the same shannagans. Similar type of players but benteke will do far more for the team and will score more whereas Balo will produce more moments that you will remember. Both not worth the money and I agree 32.5mill can be much better spent but we are Liverpool so it's hit or miss. Bacca really would have been my preferred choice.
Having said that benteke COULD make a huge impact, and I would have always wanted the signing if it was at a more reasonable £20-25mill

You Cannot compare the two at all! Ballotelli is a complete waste of space whos emotions run with his inflated ego! Benteke on the other hand actually wants to play football, implys all his effort and will listen to instructions! I think benteke is a great buy!

I remember so many people on here saying Balo will be great and could be a real winner, and ex players saying the same. I like many knew he would be a complete waste of time. He isn't like Benteke at all. yes they are both big, strong, black, and hold the ball up but that's where it ends for me

Not at all the same - Balo suits a 2 striker setup as he naturally drops deeper to get the ball and likes to use tricks and little lay offs or shooting from distance. Benteke likes to be more direct runs and get in amongst it in the box.

-Hopefully when we sign Benteke, Rodgers will change style of play that suit him. Play more cross when we have the opportunity. When crossing not reaching the target we still have the aggressive Firmino & Hendo to pickup the ball on the ground.
-Firmino-Coutinho/Firmino-Lallana/Coutinho-Lallana pair is good enough to play behind the striker if we opt to play diamond position.

Benteke is an out and out line leading centre forward.
Balotelli is the kind of froward that likes to drop into midfield to pick up the ball and see what he can do with it. He has the physique of a target man but plays like a second striker.
Actually the 2 of them together could be interesting but I guess we will never know.

reputation for coming from famous club like Inter whereas Benteke was relatively unknown.Facts tell you that Benteke is better than Balotelli.

I said last season befor we signed benteke he's not what we need and didn't see why we wanted him and everyone told me he's amazing. No doubt he's got something but for me he doesn't fit us. i would rather see ings up top. I wouldn't mind benteke coming good as it means for once we haven't waisted loads of money but he just doesn't fit into how we play.

As far as wing backs its the price we pay when we want them to join the attack and that's the style we are playing. Yes we need to tighten up but if the wing backs go up and get caught out a holding midfield should be there to drop in and help the back line surly.

Its not about mings its about a team that has something massive to fight for. The toon are clearly not wanting to go down and rafa is a good manager. We should of been more clinical in first half but i'm guessing that is also mings fault.

I would say klopps done no wrong. Us fans boo slate and shout stuff to players all the time because we are PASSIONATE, klopp has had enough of people not putting in a proper shift or Not doing as told and has lost it. I for one back him all the way and anyone who doesn't pull that shirt on and give it there all leave.

What is wrong with people lallana for me is good enough, he works hard can use both feet and is really starting to push forward under klopp if fifa give him an upgrade will people like him more. Markovic will hopefully get a run in the team as he could be a real top top talent and very exciting. I think milner, allen, benteke maybe even lucas even though i think he is brilliant all need to move on and let's start giving the younger ones more game time. Gomes can cover lb, ings will be back and then get a new keeper and that will be a winner for me.
