Hi guys, sorry to re-open old topics but I don't know a lot about the VVD tapping up scenario. I understand it was utterly embarrassing and Liverpool are completely in the wrong but what actually happened? (not trying to say that they didn't do anything wrong I just don't know) . It's obviously put Southampton in a very difficult situation especially with VVD now "striking", I feel we will sign him but it's unfair that we will potentially get the player we want after illegally approaching. Thoughts? Thanks for any replies.

So this is all Aldridges fault? 😂 VVD is a grown ass man, who wants a move away from Southampton to join liverpool, he made it clear that's what he wanted and then southampton go crying to the FA, therefore blocking his move! Sham of a club! I can't blame him wanting out! Respect works both ways!

I really hope this bid rejection, if it is true, isn't the end of any chance of signing Keita. Really think he would make a difference and plus stupidly got my hopes up. I can't see anyone else available if he doesn't come who'd be just as good, but you never know.

I'd go upto 70 million including add ons. RBl may want a major portion of the transfer fee upfront which is a bigger problem with this deal. Keita really is going to have to put in a TR or I can see us abandoning his pursuit totally. And there is next to no chance of us signing keita next summer, so Klopp and FSG now have a big decision on their hands.

Hi guys, Any news on Sakho? I've seen pictures and videos of him back in training, he looks like he's trying to fight back into the side. This combined with a lack of movement from over teams to sign him suggests to me he might stay. I'm probably just being too optimistic though.
{Ed002's Note - Klopp doesn't want him and the club are trying hard to sell him. There has been interest but the asking price is an issue.}

Watching Hendos press conference it was much more casually said then suggested. It seemed more a passing comment.
