Is it just me or has the end of this season got a totally different feel about it than recent ones. In previous seasons I would be worried about if we could win our last 4/ 5 games and stay up there in the table. This year I’m not so anxious about playing the Bournemouths etc for our 3 points.
I’ve also noticed that I no longer worry about corners and set pieces from the opposition. Feels like we deal with them so much better these days.
It’s a good time to be a Liverpool supporter I’d say. The team are playing scintillating football and look like their having so much fun doing it!

Totally agree, it does have the feel like we have turned a corner regarding our defence, i don't know if all that is down to VVD coming in or if we have made a change regarding the way we defend, i also find that we are also scoring from more corners, which used to drive me up the wall last season, either a corner would be blasted high or wouldn't make it past the first man. These games were always our achilles heel, especially after playing midweek, we seem to have a better balance this season, we have obtained the most points from January 1st than any other team if I am correct, only lost once and that was to Utd away, whatever the team has done it feels we are definitely heading in the right direction, and I haven't been this confident going into games in a very long time as a Liverpool supporter.

It used to drive me crazy that we could not get passed the first man on our corners. Wasted opportunities every game. As you say, now we're even scoring from them or at least getting the shot away. In defence, we're holding our line well, holding it high too. The amount of times Sane was caught offside in the CL games was a fair few.
Brilliant today. Again, good team effort.

I hope people remember the last 2.5 seasons. We needed all of that to get to where we are and good to know that therr is so much more to come.
Swuad are more confident in their sysstem and trusting of each other. That was always going to take a decent amount of time to develop and establish some consistency.

It is the first time in a long time that I do not get overly concerned about set pieces and corners. VVD, and Karius, have contributed to a big increase in our defensive capabilities and from set pieces we have looked much, much better. The team is continuing to improve season on season - the manager has signed players who have made a difference and it is showing on the pitch. As an aside I was convinced OXlaide-Chamberlain would be an expensive mistake - I am delighted to be proven completely wrong. He has shown an excellent attitude, huge desire and, most importantly, a noticeable increase in his performances as the season has progressed. It is a good time to be a Liverpool supporter.

Long way to go still in my eyes and Klopp and the boys will look at one game at a time rightly so, but, after that performance yesterday, that was poetry in motion. This team are something else - all in it together and the confidence is brimming - such a joy to watch.

Bang on Har. The mentality of this team is so much stronger this season and let’s hope that’s the difference from last season. Those boys are thinking smarter and playing smarter. A bit more of that again please lads. Loved that yesterday.
