I think tomorrow’s game against Bournemouth will have a vital bearing on our possible success for the rest of the season and it is vital that we play as strong a team as possible.
Victory tomorrow will take a lot of pressure off the games either side of the CL semis. Although I expect Chelsea to win tomorrow you never know as Southampton are very unpredictable. However, if we win tomorrow I think it will give Chelsea too much to do.
Klopp would be able to rest players who need it after that and we would still probably gain enough points for too 4, whilst keeping players fresh for Roma.
So, the message is not to take tomorrow’s game lightly.

Doubt we'd take it lightly, but hope we don't overthink it. Just go game by game, play to win etc. However, I think wr fans underestimate the psychology of the game, don't be surprised if the lads find it difficult to follow-up the city performancr and remain stuck in 2nd gear for most of the match. Anything contrary to that for me is further evidence of the growth and development in the team.
2.) 13 Apr 2018 21:36:11
Spot on, Faith. It's another game at home that we have to win, nothing more, nothing less. We go out there with intensity, desire and with the crowd on our side, we'll be fine even tho, there is always a fear of an emotional let down after going thru such a mammoth game physically, mentally and emotionally.
3.) 13 Apr 2018 22:13:45
Should be winning all home games. One game at a time. It’s really hard not to lose my head as a supporter right now tho! 😎.
4.) 13 Apr 2018 22:25:41
It’s all a bit Babooshka-ya-ya.
5.) 14 Apr 2018 10:00:37
Just as long as we keep running up that hill I'll be happy.
13 Apr 2018 13:51:23
I wasn’t bothered who we drew, as all the other 3 teams are strong.
However, the most vital thing is that we can keep Mo, Bobby and Mané fit, as there is nothing to come in to replace them. I know we can shuffle someone in from midfield but that won’t be the same.

Was it just me or did anyone else hear Gerrard say that Salah took his goal coolly and with his weaker foot too?
That’s a bit worrying from someone who is a coach at Liverpool, unless he was watching the game through a mirror.
1.) 11 Apr 2018 08:30:51
I think he was referring to the touch that took it past their keeper.
2.) 11 Apr 2018 12:39:34
Haha. That's funny!
09 Apr 2018 20:52:24
The thought kept crossing my mind today, for some reason, that Mane is going to break clear in the first 10 minutes and be brought down by Ederson, who concedes a penalty and gets sent off.
A stupid thought, I agree - it will obviously be Salah. Or maybe I was just hallucinating. I’ll have to stop making mushroom omelettes with mushrooms 3 weeks past their sell-by date.
1.) 09 Apr 2018 21:58:23
Not stupid at all. High emotional match. Leaky defense. Useless keeper. One of the quickest attackers in the league playing a ridiculously high line. It could happen. Maybe not in the first 10 mins. Maybe the first 15 😉.
2.) 09 Apr 2018 22:08:05
That's the hope, AOE n Klavy.
3.) 09 Apr 2018 22:16:44
Only one prob no double punishment anymore so either a red or a pen not both but I like the thought haha.
4.) 09 Apr 2018 22:23:12
Is it definitely one or the other now? I thought if it was an attempt to get the ball but the player was accidentally brought down it would be just a pen, but if the player was deliberately brought down it could be both. Maybe I’m wrong.
07 Apr 2018 23:11:55
Harry kane must be desperate to beat Mo, claiming that.
1.) 08 Apr 2018 01:32:07
Compare that to when Firmino left the ball to roll in after Mane dinked it over the keeper against Stoke. Class.
Yes, Firmino's not in the running for the Golden Boot unlike Kane but you get the feeling that we're more about the team ethic as opposed to individual glory and awards.
2.) 08 Apr 2018 08:26:20
not trying be a contrarian, but when salah took the penalty off of milner. they all seemed happy enough with each otehr, but was that simply about the golden boot race? or maybe it was for salah to make up for a miss in an earlier game? anyways, guys like Kane are paid to score goals so no problems with it!
and in context to spurs, they are an excellent team that plays for each other. so on this occasion can't fault him too much other than it not being a good look.

What about Smalling?
30 Mar 2018 18:33:28
Xabi Alonso in his prime would be the perfect deep laying midfield player on our team. Just dreaming - sorry.
14 Mar 2018 22:01:08
And to think we could have had him if we hadn’t messed about so much.
30 Jan 2018 14:38:52
It would be more tempting to me to watch them with Salah playing.
30 Jan 2018 13:09:31
Hazard, Kane and Salah? They won’t get all 3, probably only one, and guess which one they will get.
{Ed001's Note - Kane?}

Thanks aoe, it would be great if someone on here could review it. It’s got some 5 star reviews on Amazon but I think a review on here would be better as you are all football supporters. You don’t have to be into football to enjoy it, as it’s anout relationships and life but the thread is football based so it’s better if you are into football.

My book is genuine Ed and us on Amazon. As I said, it is a football based comedy about relationships within the club and the supporters. Some adult humour and a bit of swearing which you would expect in a football environment but nothing too bad.
It is called The Gaffer. If you go on Amazon website and search The Gaffer by John Joseph Austin you will see it if you scroll down until you see a book with a red cover and white circles.
I am half way through the sequel and will try to get both published in hard copies when it is finished.
Thanks.
{Ed002's Note - See if someone hear will write a review for you.}

Can I plug my book Ed? It’s a football comedy novel and there is a bit about Liverpool in it.
{Ed001's Note - are all these books real and not just gags about Harry Kane? If so feel free to plug them like but I am confused as I assumed the book post was just a long gag.}

Last night I had a vivid dream that Chelsea drew 1 - 1 today. Didn’t put any money on it though in case I put the mockers on it.
I’m getting a bit worried - I used to dream about women.
14 Apr 2018 09:02:55
And move the Champions League final to Anfield.
{Ed001's Note - that is in the Ukraine, a totally different country from Russia. They are not even on particularly good terms.}
