Am I the only person that gets sick of so called supporters slagging off potential signings before we have even bought them or seen them in action? let's take a brief look at our history when we rules Europe.

Kevin Keegan signed from Scunthorpe, hardly a champs league team, Ray Clemence coming from the same club.

Mark Lawrenson coming from Brighton, Ian Rush from Chester, more recently Sami Hyypia from Willem II or Dan Agger from Brondby.

These are all players that started out lower class teams but became legends in their own time.

I will not slate new players brought in, they have been identified for a reason and I will give Klopp the chance to make these players identified and bought into the club the chance to prove their worth to us.

I just get annoyed when I see a player slated before even kicking a ball for us in anger, yes we are all allowed an opinion, but for Christ's sake, give them a chance to show us what they have before writing them off.

Gini Wijnaldum has not even signed yet, but some people are seeing this as a disaster.

Lets take a reality check, we are not the pull we were years ago, we have no Euro football to attract anyone and those we do sign will have come to get us where we want to be, not where we are now.

Just give them a fair chance is all I ask.

Rant over.

So £27m for a player who couldn't be bothered last year and is in a position we're well covered for is good business then?

Difference is Grinchy that all of those players you mentioned were players that were widely accepted and recognised as being highly talented and could succeed at the highest level, Wijnaldum failed that test last year, he was really poor.

If klopp thinks it's good business then I support the decision.

OK we missed out on Salah, but to be honest I had never heard of him apart from on this site. We all know we need better quality players, and like me, most are frustrated at our lack of action in the market this Jan, but we aren't always going to have a good Jan like last year where we got 2 quality players that helped us straight away.BR knows who he wants and if they are that easily turned by Mourihno, we don't need them. We need quality, yes, but we also need those willing to die for the shirt. I would rather wait and see what happens by at the end of this window, and no matter what, be grateful of the progress made over the last few seasons.

I said before LS joined (under Red4Ever) that I was concerned about his behaviour, no matter what the skill level and how good he is. Now he has shown me to be unfortunately correct and it gives me no pleasure to see how he has constantly dragged our good name through the dirt, let alone his current antics of trying to get the PFA or anyone that will listen to help him move. OK then good, goodbye, you will never be bigger than LFC, I do not care how good you are Thanks for the few memories you have left behind, but know there are not as many as Rush, Barnes, Yeats or anyone else with a bit of class and loyalty have shown. How many LS clips will be in future DVD's of our greatest moments? Not as many as many of our legends and they will live on longer way after the name Suarez is forgotten

So LS is understood to want to leave because of press victimisation? Should he not look first into his own actions and realise he is the one giving them the ammunition? If he wants to go, then please go with minimum fuss and as early as possible so that we are not left panic buying at the end of the window like we had to with FT. LS is a magnificent football player, maybe one of the best in the world, and I personally will lament the fact we no longer have his talent in our team, but let's look at the facts. We lost Keegan, got Dalgish, we lost Rush, got Aldridge, we lost Rush the second time, and had Fowler, lost Owen and got Torres, lost Torres and got Suarez. We have coped without the big guns before multiple times and carried on and found a new one, and I have no doubt we will find them again. If LS's departure can be used to enhance the squad as a whole then I am all for it.

slow and susceptible to bad tackles. Not what we need in defence at all. sry but we need to go all out for hector, expensive but proven quality in my opinion.
