The transfer window opens a 11.00. If we don't sign 3 £80 - £100 million pound players by 11.30 we are doomed. Might as well write of next season at 11.35! 😏😏.

Nothing from the club so far, no helicopters to melwood, I just can't believe it how slack we are in this transfer window. I'm usually positive but now I might change my name to negativeredSalah, I'm just fed up, if we want to progress and do well in the league we have to sign quality players, it's 20 minutes into the transfer window and still nobody? disgraceful! Shame on the owners, shame on Klopp! we'll come behind Everton next season you watch. ;)

2.) 17 May 2018 11:29:53
Just been past melwood on my way to Tesco's. Absolutely zilch going on there. we're doomed!

3.) 17 May 2018 11:47:56
just seen Yarmalenko walking his ostrich next too melwood, make of it what you will.

4.) 17 May 2018 11:56:58
Don't worry lads, when Klopp sees the link up play between myself and The Raver at the charity game, he'll sign us both up 🤞.

5.) 17 May 2018 12:06:56
Just saw Wesley Sneider, Gaston Ramirez and Konoplyanka sharing a pot of Earl Grey around the corner from Anfield. Coincidence? I don't think so.

6.) 17 May 2018 12:25:09
Buffon is having second thoughts on retiring but won't play for another Italian club. here we go!

7.) 17 May 2018 12:43:17
Babble copper getting fuled up as we speak😁.

8.) 17 May 2018 13:19:00
Kovacic was spotted buying a copy of Gerry and the Pacemakers greatest hits at Madrid Airport. Make of that what you will.

9.) 17 May 2018 13:19:54
Family friend saw Charlie Adam the other day, he didn't actually say anything but his eyes said enough. that's set pieces sorted, now we just need to convince El Hadji Diouf to come out of retirement to cover the front three and we're in good shape.

10.) 17 May 2018 13:21:47
I'm an estate agent and I've just had someone who signed as L. Messi book in to see the most expensive houses in Liverpool. He'll have to be quick choosing one though because M. Reus just booked to do the same!

11.) 17 May 2018 13:40:40
Sounds like Tranmere Rivera are going all out to break back into the Football League, hjikle!

12.) 17 May 2018 13:46:51
Jus seen simao at Tesco's with a big smile, he must of eventually signed phhhhew.

13.) 17 May 2018 23:25:59
Come on lads, we should all know that it's Arda Turan who we are getting in next 😁.

14.) 18 May 2018 07:37:16
I just seen Honda driving a Honda round and round outside melwood. Wonder what he's up to?

My nerves are gone. Someone please sedate me until around 7.30.

1.) 10 Apr 2018 12:45:27
Yep crapping it already. My worrie is our middfield no can and no Henderson. Gini is going to have to have he’s best game ever if we are going to go through even with 3 goals in the bag. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.

2.) 10 Apr 2018 13:19:29
Sitting at my desk, staring at my laptop, since 6 hours now. With 35 tabs open on my browser. Every tab/ link is about the game (courtesy news. co) . Have read most tabs at least twice. My lunch is sitting on the desk since a couple of hours and gradually going through various stages of discoloration. And I'm wondering if I've completely lost it.

Have to be honest though. This game has huge consequences, beyond just entering the semis of the UCL. If we go through, it'll be a re-entry announcement into Europe's elite, and revive some of the club's, and Klopp's, stagnant rep.

3.) 10 Apr 2018 13:29:48
It’s the QFs lads, come on.

4.) 10 Apr 2018 13:46:29
🤦🏻‍♂.

5.) 10 Apr 2018 12:32:42
Going to be such a long day.

Anyone for Clyne on Wednesday? Experience over youth?

Geri

1.) 31 Mar 2018 19:38:52
I know what you mean geri. Taa does get targeted. He's great going forward but is not strong enough to be a serious defender.

2.) 31 Mar 2018 19:52:27
Nope nope nope.

3.) 31 Mar 2018 19:44:08
It’s going to have to be. Sane will destroy TAA it Zaha and Rashford are anything to go by.

4.) 31 Mar 2018 20:46:08
I’d rather have your namesake, Geri Ginger spice.

5.) 31 Mar 2018 20:58:54
This again? Come on guys, last season wasn't that long ago, have you actually forgotten what Clyne's performances were like? Not to mention how long he's been out injured. Do you really think he'll do any better against Sane than Alexander-Arnold? Cos he won't. Not in a million years. Not to mention that he'll kill every attack down the right hand side because his maximum passing range is 5 yards.

Why don't we just go ahead and recall Mignolet whilst we're at it? After all, he's more experienced than Karius, isn't he?

We complain that no youth players come though, but when we actually get one we want to drop him for a poor player who hasn't played a senior game in nine months in a CL Quarter Final.

6.) 31 Mar 2018 20:51:06
Just a thought. TAA got destroyed in the first 30 minutes today. He grew into but I think and it's only my opinion Clyne might be a better choice Wednesday.

7.) 31 Mar 2018 20:59:08
TAA is young so will forgive him, although he is making the same mistakes over and over again and being targeted however I would still choose TAA over Clyne.

8.) 31 Mar 2018 21:26:15
I would like too see milner play there as he done great on the left last year for us, considering milner is right footed he would be on his natural side an it would b an option til the end of the season were we can strengthen that position, failing that if clyne is 100 percent fit an ready would prefer them 2 in front of Trent AA at this crucial stage of season, as he being targeted by teams an goals are coming from his inexperience at this level, I really like him but he and Gomez are so young and bound too make mistakes they got plenty of years too improve.

9.) 31 Mar 2018 21:38:42
I would play Milner at RB.

10.) 31 Mar 2018 21:58:24
I think I'd play Milner there. If Gomez was fit I'd be saying its time to pull Trent for a couple of weeks. Young players form goes up and down and they sometimes need protecting. Hopefully he's got a big future and he needs to be handled properly. There's a danger of him becoming a target for other teams to exploit.
On the other hand it could.

11.) 31 Mar 2018 22:00:22
Milner's never played right back to my knowledge, isn't known for his defensive capabilities in midfield, and has played 30 minutes at left back all season. I'm not sure why we'd trust his defensive sense more than Alexander-Arnold, either positionally or in terms of him being able to stop Sane running at him. Although at least his crossing would be potentially dangerous.

As for teams targetting Alexander-Arnold, you think they won't target Milner or Clyne at right back either? I certainly would if I was in the opposition dugout.

Alexander-Arnold should play unless Gomez has a miraculous return to fitness. I really do not see the advantage of trying Milner and definitely not Clyne.

12.) 31 Mar 2018 22:25:00
Klopp will pick TAA, just like he did today, yes he will be targetted, yes Sane will get lots of ball,
but our front three will do us proud .

13.) 31 Mar 2018 22:40:18
I think it's a case of protecting TAA for the future rather than a one off (all be it very important) week of games. We've seen Karius benefit from a spell out of the team even if the team was arguably worse off for the inclusion of Mignolet.

Milner hasn't played right back for us but he has earlier in his career? Yes I'd target him too and to be honest whoever plays there I think it's an issue.

My previous post was supposed to end on the other hand if TAA can come through this period it will be the making of him but my fat thumbs cut the post short!

14.) 31 Mar 2018 22:47:31
Is Gomez definitely out? No question he goes in if fit. Klopp to pull a shock formation out and go 3 at the back. Get Trent and Robbo flying up the wings again.

15.) 31 Mar 2018 22:59:55
Did nobody see the difference in the second half? Klopp ensured TAA moved further forward, Zaha was pinned back!

16.) 01 Apr 2018 00:05:43
No milner at RB please. Love the guy for his effort but if you think Trent will get burned by the speed of Sane then milner is gauranteed toast. Trent's struggle is positioning not speed. Not saying that is good but milner is so easily run by I would risk Trent with another player assisting. That appeared to happen a lot the 2nd half of the palace game.

17.) 01 Apr 2018 01:23:30
Match sharpness is not made up. If a player can come back after a year out and perform to an elite level then why do teams bother with pre season.

Talk about rusty he will probably be at league 2 level till he gets some games under his belt.

{Ed0333's Note - he was League 2 level when he got injured.

18.) 01 Apr 2018 01:40:31
TAA for me, if it was upto me Clyne would never get a game for us again. You think TAA might have a hard time, god help Clyne then. He's useless and the sooner he's out the better. Some of you have short memories of how bad he actually is.

{Ed0333's Note - oh my memory is crystal clear and vivid when it comes to Clyne. I would play him in the Derby though as we need to get him match fit in case of other injuries.

19.) 01 Apr 2018 07:26:42
What an awful suggestion, Klopp should not even consider playing Clyne over TAA for a number of reasons:

1) Clyne is a bad, bad player.
2) Clyne has been injured for what? A year? He is nowhere near ready (even if he was good enough - which he isn't) .
3) How would that affect TAA's development going forward if he was, out of the blue, dropped for one of the biggest games of his young career? Sure he wasn't the best against Zaha but the lad is learning - don't forget at Anfield is was Gomez who was partially responsible for Sane's goal. Young players need to be afforded the time to make mistakes.

Instead of calling for him to be dropped fans could perhaps try supporting a young player instead, just a thought.

20.) 01 Apr 2018 14:38:12
TAA has been, according to ye olde stattos, one of the top 3 defensive players in this year's champions league. That may be largely due to his attacking prowess but that may be the point in the end. We aren't going to win by keeping clean sheets, we need to create and play to our strengths, not theirs. Trent is doing fine, make Sane worry about him just as much as the other way around.

So Ian Wright says " Liverpool can expect a bid from Bayern for Firmino" The next day it's in all the papers, with all due respect Wright knows as much about Bayern's transfer plans as I do.

1.) 28 Mar 2018 11:36:09
Ian Wright is a lovely man, outside of football a real class act. But I wish he'd stop getting pundit jobs, he adds nothing.

2.) 28 Mar 2018 11:57:58
Ian Wrong.

The problem in all of this is the goalkeeping coach in my opinion. Klopp and his staff have came in and things have improved outfield. Achterberg was kept on and the goalkeeping situation has not.

If it was me or you driving along side Salah, Mr. Hughes he wouldn't have batted an eyelid. Carragher shouldn't have reacted the way he did but Hughes aim was to get some reaction hence recording it on his phone. Claiming provacation has got many a person of out of more serious things than that. Storm in a teacup in my opinion.
